Just got back from dinner with the Kohs.. Went to some restaurant.. don't really like it there...worst out of all the restaurants we've been to with them...the food proportions were so little.. they didn't have anymore of what we wanted to order....hehe while we were waiting.. Joey pointed out to me.. she was like "jiejie.. look at the sign".. on the door... printed was "Watch Your Stet"... lol.. Jane was talking about how Jill knods her head when she laughs.. that was so funny.. i was laughing so hard (lol jill.. you really DO knod your head.. good luck in perfecting your laugh).. after dinner we walked outside.. and there was another sign.. "No ________ Change" the word that was scratched out was money.. "No Money Change" lol.. i guess SOMEONE noticed that was wrong..
Had Final try outs today..Mr Slade set up matches with people...I played with Ko-Chien, Wanta and Diane... hm i think that's all..hehehe.. beat all of them...lol..was talking to Diane on the bench and we were watching Lily play against Stephanie.. I was like.. Lily smashes well backhand... and Diane tried to do what Lily did and she smashed her racket on the whiteboard behind us (LOL Diane!!You're so "hurtful" to your racket...I'm suprised nothing's chipped off it yet)..ooo i played Jensen.. all the drop shots....at least i'm better than last year.. Harry was standing on the side "coaching" him.. the pro...i think he's better than Mr Slade..he's like.. Jensen keep your racket up.. if i see it go down you do 10 push-ups...Mr Slade says he STILL isn't sure of the team yet.. but he has picked some people for sure already..
oo.. we had a sub for Science.. Mrs Bojhani??? something like that.. She's so much better than Mr Devereaux..Did a lab.. Michelle was washing all the beakers and she rinsed the one that was on the hot plate and it just snapped and cracked... she was like shocked...didn't see that coming Had an assembly in block B for our course selections.. now we have one less elective.. and don't have to take at least one Fine Arts and Applied Skill.. ah well I'm taking Art and French..

Second final try outs.. i think i played better today.. Mr Slade dropped so many shots.. but i made him miss a few shots.. that was good.. Sylvia tries so hard... but after she gets so mad at herself that she didn't play well.. she's pretty good.. I hate it when people say they suck.. They're like "i suck so bad!"....come on.. have some pride in yourself..

Watched Bill Nye (is that how you spell it??) in science... Chemical Equations are.. hmm.. confusing.. but i got it.. The play was ok at the beginning.. then it grew boring.. sitting in the theatre for 2 blocks..i think i heard the word hell about 5 times.. and this guy said bitch really loud... he like shouted it out.. after the play when all the classes left.... mme waterton told us to stay.. then the drama class wanted to "celebrate" . So mme Waterton kicked us out 20 mins before school was out.. she's like.. you guys go to the caf.. did she think all of us were gonna stay in the caf?? Badminton tmr.. phew..Lily and a few other people won the art contest.. according to lily the prize is a book.. of artwork.. some prize..
Got invited to go back for the final tryout... don't know if both try outs are counted yet..11 people are in.. just 2 more to eliminate..i have a pretty good idea who Mr Slade is gonna cut..but i don't wanna say anything yet...I'm up to one part of the work books in drafting in which i have no clue what to do..the measurements are just useless..hopefully next class Mr Lim teaches something new..Mme Waterton really screamed her head off today.. I think this is the loudest she's ever screamed... or is it...tho everyone still didn't stay quiet for long..
Second try outs today.... i think i did better then last week.. Diane said that Jesse saw a check mark and a plus sign beside Diane and my name..(yay)..about 15 people showed up today.. phew.. not much competition..about 10 girls can get on.. (fingers crossed).. lol.. Diane, Kitty and I were playing. .Diane accidentally hit Kitty in the face with the racket.. then she hugged her and then the lens from her glasses popped out.. lol.. we were crawling on the court trying to look for the screw..then for about 5 mins Diane was trying to screw it back on....no French on Weds! A double block of sitting in the theatre.. having a drama teacher as a french teacher ain't so bad after all..

Met Lily and Diane at FH this morning...Went to Esso and got wedges and chicken..and a huge slushie...then we walked to Erma.. which we weren't sure whether we were allowed to go in..walked on and decided to go to Kevins.. so we called.. but no one answered.. then lily said that he wa staying with Jack.. but i didnt have Jack's number.. so we just continued...after walking for about half an hour, lily was like.. hmm not sure which house is his.. (lily.. you made us walk all the way there and not know which house it is!)... she looked at all the houses and she was like.. i think it's that one.. and it had like black doors.. and then she pointed to another one.. which was opposite.. then she pointed out another house and she said she was 70% sure.... so we rang the doorbell.. no one was home..i guess it would have been better if no one was home.. what if some other person answers the door....then we walked all the way back, to the playground.. stayed there for a bit and then went back to my house to get my blades and diane rode my bike..went back to erma to fetch Joey.. then back to my cul de sac.. played badminton.. which didn't really work coz it was so breezy...saw a few familiar faces..Marcus, Peter....hmm..Bianca.. getting shots for Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis.. ther combined it all into one shot..We got another booklet to work on for Drafting..Mr Lim introduced more tools..I was stuck working on one really crazy drawing.. it's just ridiculously impossible...kinda looks like a snowflake.. cept not..all the angles..had our first unit test for math today....not very good...only 2 people got As..a few Bs and a whole lot of Cs..Mr Huzyk marks it so hard! The steps have to be exact.. or else he takes marks off.. hmm actually Danielle marked the tests.. everything had to be exact.. the class average was only 60 something..

Watched Planet of the Apes just now...wasn't really a extremely good movie..but the ending makes you wanna... there's no word for it.. the guy goes back in time.. to where the apes win the humans..
Also watched Survivor.. during the commercials... hilarious.. one of the immunity challenges (i think it was immunity).. one person had to tell their team members , who are blindfolded, to get puzzle pieces.. it was so funny.. coz they can't see where they're going and where they are.. they pick up pieces and bump into each other.. they throw the pieces down on the ground and other teams trip over them.. =D..ooo also watched Friends.. lol.. Joey was trying to learn french so he could get a part in a show.. and Pheobe was trying to help him... she's like Je m'appelle Joey.. and he goes.. Je m'app blah blah blew...and after Pheobe gave up on him.. he started listening to a teach yourself french tape and it was like.. "un, deux, trois, quatre, cinq..." and he was like... un deux trois blah blah bleh blew...
Mme Waterton can actually get the class to sit down quietly....................for a few seconds... While everyone is talking (not doing their work).. Frank and Eric(who sit right in front of her) are talking to her..and everytime waterton tells them to shut their mouths and do their work.. Frank goes on and on about calling his lawyer.... lol.. mme waterton's like... stop threatening me with the law..she had to scream so many times to get everyone back to their seats..they were "bird watching" again..yesterday it was a crow...today.... woodpecker...eric stuck his head out the window and was screaming at it..that was kinda funny...then Mmr waterton's like " Trois, Deux, Un.." to get everyone quiet.. and the guys just go "blast off"... I don't think she's ever thought french before.. she said that Mme Thibault is her good friend and she was filling in for her coz she knows french...but she marks really easy...Jimmy was throwing paper airplanes around again.. at least the going outside thing stopped...We had 2 quizes and a test...
Had badminton try outs today...didn't really play well today..not with Mr Slade at least..he clears it so far back... then drops it...But Harry didn't do that.. he's so good.. even better than Mr Slade..I got it off the net 4 times.. hit diane in the face twice.. hehehe.. and Jesse hit the birdie right on her head.. (lol diane)..

Got my painting into the library today... Mrs Whitlock framed so many paintings... she's got them all up in the library already... omg.. today at lunch, lily and I had to go to the library to work on french...diane and krissy followed.. it was really packed in there.. no tables available.. not like any are ever...and the sign wasn't even up.. so we sat on the ground in between one of the aisles.. after 10 mins.. the librarian comes up to us (not Mrs Whitlock.. the really mean one who comes in at lunch)and she tells us that we're not allowed to sit on the ground anymore...we were like.. there aren't anymore tables...how are we suppose to do work when there isn't any other place that we can go..she's so mean!! Drafting was the usual.. boring.. we did get a sheet to do.. had to look at shapes and write out the corresponding numbers to alphabets..which was pretty easy... i tried posting something in the chatterbox... but the long post wouldn't go up.. only the short ones for some reason...french was another block that was so boring.. I finally got 10/10 on my maitrise...but tmr we start our daily quizes....hmm.. my light keeps dimming every now and then.. the flow of electricity is so uneven...
Badminton was great today.... played from 9-11:45am.. the gym was really stuffy...why must they turn the heating on..but it was fun...I beat Cain! once... then the next few games he crushed me...hehehe.. i saw Patrick and this other guy who we played last year from Johnson Heights..they play so well
Went to the FH site.. it's a really crappy site.. but i found some pictures..and a video..next badminton try outs are Weds, Girls only.. 3-4:30pm.. can't wait...i need more practice..
Was up til about 2:30am this morning.. talking to diane, krissy and Tim(my penpal.. also talking to my cousin...so weird... after 12, i'm wide awake...and then I sleep through the whole morning..now my head hurts...just slightly.. hehehe.. Watched As Good as it gets last night... funny movie..anyway gonna try to get my math and french done by today.. oo and my painting..
Had a presentation which took up most of the first block.. about the new grad program thing... so annoying.. why must they change everything and make our year be the first to go through it.. now we have to take provincials in grade 10.. math, science and language arts... block b was just spent on the internet... the whole entire time...French was the same.. noisy... Frank went to the "washroom" again.. he went outside and the guys were up from their seats at the window.. the radio was on.. don't even know why me waterton turned it on for... Eric was moving up and down to try to block the signal...
I'm on the phone with Lily, Krissy and Diane right now.. they're all at Krissy's... and doing weird things... ... so very weird...
I have 2 weeks to decide whether to train to become a counsellor at camps.. Webbs sent me a note saying that i can train for 2 weeks and get a certificate and be able to work at any camps...to train or not to train....

Double block of Drafting.. first block i completed my 2 technical drawings on paper..second block was pretty much.. nothing to do.. surfed the web with Alice, played games... yeh..had a sub... hmm.. ah well.. Mr Lim doesn't care if you surf the net...he's so easy... people are like playing games when he's teaching and he doesn't care..
the school manured the fields at lunch.. stunk up the school.. so gross...kinda got imune to it after the break.. Doni and I were like "is the smell gone or are we just imune to it" ... I love math.. it's crazy....lol.. lily.. I'm on my way to geekdom!! Got our report cards.. I'm getting 3 As and 2 Bs.. meh.. pretty good..if only i got an A in Socials.. it was so close... i had like 83%..gym was probably close too..but arrr...Proud to say that I got 91.1% in Art.. haha..90% for English.. could be more.... hmm.. or less.. didn't check it..oh well i'm happy with my grades.. still in First Class Honors with a G.P.A of 3.6.. more than last term..=)...
strange how you could be talking to someone who knew another friend.. but you didn't know it.. and that other person didn't either...yeh that sounds confusing.. I just found out that Aunty Kheng Lee is Ming's parents lawyers too.. small world...

French today was terrible... Frank must have asked to go to the washroom like 5 times..and mme Waterton let him.. even after he fooled around in the hallway and went outside... like outside the school...everyone was talking so loud.. even when Waterton screamed "silence!" like really loud.. the guys just kept talking.. Chad and Jon had their chairs leaned against the wall and when she told them to sit down properly they didn't.. she didn't do anything about it.. took her a while to give people DTs...We had to answer 20 questions in 10 mins.. 10 mins!!! Takes me 10 mins just to get the meaning of one question..I have to keep flipping back to the dictionary... and not like any of the guys did anything..they just kept talking... i was trying to consentrate on finding the meanings...phew...oooo we did a lab today in Science.. I was filling the beaker with water and i told michelle when to turn the tap off.. i was like "stop!" and she turned it the wrong way... the water shot out of the tap and sprayed out of the beaker.... lol.. that was funny...and when we put the aluminum into the copper(II)chloride.. it sizzled.. we were like.. omg... didn't expect that to happen...
hmm I found out that the badminton courts at Guildford are first come first serve.. and Diane said that you have to pay like 2$...

Badminton today wasn't so bad.. I played better today than yesterday...20 more people came for shooting today..it was about 40 yesterday.. there were 60 people for 7 courts..ouch...i don't think a lot of people got to play a lot.. doni came... Kitty, Annie K, hmm who else.. Julian, Adam.. a few other people i don't know... gonna be hard picking the team.. Mr Slade said 20 people at the most.. but even if we don't make the team.. I think we can still play every Weds after school...oo Cain still owes me a game of badminton.. hmm i wonder how good he is...eep...
hmm 2 of Joey's teeth fell out today.. they are in a little medicine cup, in water.. and there's a little stickie note saying "Do Not Touch... And that means you!".. lol

Science was the usual boring... Mr Devereaux's monotone voice droning on and on...Drafting was pretty ok.. I managed to do quite a few problems..got til 1-15.. then had to log off the cpus..Had mme Waterton for French today... she really doesn't know how to teach! She writes something on the board.. then we are halfway copying it and she erases it and says it's wrong.. she screwed up everything and wasn't sure what to teach...and she wrote the superlatives and comparatives on the board.. wrote 4 questions for us to do and then after she was like "hmm.. I think those are the questions on the test for the superlatives and comparatives"... and there were so many errors.. like accents going the wrong way.. some words that were plural she put as singular...hehe.. math was fun... Mr Huzyk's like.. "Mathematicians are cheap and lazy!.. they want the easiest way to solve problems..." He told us about the "warm fuzzies" today.. (lol lily...) He's like warm fuzzies are the feeling that you get when you solve a hard math question..and he said that the opposite of it is cold pricklies...yeh something like that...
There are so many people trying out for junior badminton this year! Even last year both Junior and Grade 8 were less than just Junior this year..There are about 40 people trying out..only 18 at the most can get on the team... I have a feeling I'm not gonna get in..ah well.. if i do.. that's good.. if i don't... i have a lot of work to do..
Body's aching all over..this time, my legs too.. usually it's just my arms and shoulders for some reason.. Aunty Kheng Lee and Uncle Fandy are coming soon.. My dad's gonna show them the pictures of what he changed in their house.. then we're going to Richmond.. I think...I still have a French Maitrise to study for, and science sheets to do..

Got my science done and the french sheets are due Friday. So I'll leave it for tmr.. and I have to study my verbs...or should i say les verbes réguliers et irréguliers...
Whistler was great... Had to be on the bus by 5:45am.. which I was... but it took a while for everyone to load and stuff...finally.. at sometime after 6.. the first bus left...Jack, Kevin, Tom, Jenny, Alex.. and those bunch of people.. we were all on one bus with a few others..so our bus was practically empty...Then we found out that our bus had some problem with the brake.. like the brake was on too tight.. and the bus driver said that it's like driving with the break on and it would cause a fire if he did..... he talked to us for a bit.. said that they called the mechanics... that took about 1 hour.. finally... the guy came.. 15 minutes after, we were finally moving.. wasted so much time... they played Radio (as in the movie) on the tv...the bus ride was so nauseating.. I was feeling dizzy after a while.. Kevin threw up just as we arrived...poor kevin..but he was fine after....Me, Jenny, Jack and Alex hung out together.. stayed on the learner's run(Magic Chair 94m/308ft) for a bit til Jenny and Alex got the hang of it...the chair lifts are so much easier to get off.. the slope at the end is way milder and the chair slows down for you...Then went up the higher one(Wizards Express 565m/1855ft).. that one was fun.. took us an hour to get down.. coz of all the waiting and stopping..there was this guy with a snow deck..that was nice... every now and then we'd bump into Kevin and Tom.. then they'd race and disappear again...the snow was good on the higher runs.. but it was kinda foggy up there and there was frozen rain.. that's when the goggles come in.. but neither one of us had a pair..didn't eat coz when we stopped for lunch... the bag check in counter was closed til 2.. so we went down more runs... ended up not eating til 3:30pm...the snow on the beginner's run.. actually.. really compressed snow.. it's soo icy that when you fall it hurts so bad and you can slide down on your butt...phew.. late.. so tired.. still got motion sickness.. somehow.. still feel the movement of the bus...
Getting used to using AutoCad.. finally.. at first i couldn't get what Mr Lim was talking about...Managed to do 2 drawings!!! I spoke too soon... Mr Huzyk gave us work to do... but he went through most of them in class.. so it's all good...."Last day of CNY dinner" later with the Kohs... at least i think it's with the Kohs...
Double block of Science and French. Science was soooooooooo boring...Worked on "knowing how to use your textbook" then went to the lab to figure out where everything's kept.. Mr Devereaux is so serious.. he doesn't smile AT ALL...
Joined the Library art "contest" thing.. The theme has something to do with birds. I forgot what Mrs Whitlock said.. something like Soaring to great heights.. or something like that...did some rough sketches at lunch.. Suppose to be painting tomorrow...
We have to make a portfolio for French. Mme Thibault made us copy notes again.. Her voice is so loud.. But she's pretty nice.. Wonder what Waterton's like.. A lot of people say she's nice...But she's a drama teacher too.. which probably means she likes a lot of presentations and skits and stuff like that.. ahhhh.. Sooo much work to do.. work on portfolio (write an autobiography, poem..etc.),review activity sheets...Hope tmr Mr Huzyk doesn't give a lot of math...
First day of Semester 2...Science was so silent...Mr Devereaux doesn't smile! his face is just straight...and his room is full of....fish! Raman and I were looking around....Every single poster has either sharks, fish, mollusks, turtles... everything that has to do with the ocean is in there...Didn't do much.. Had to fill in a sheet about yourself... I was like address?? email??? then had to do a sheet on safety... Michelle and I were like flipping through the text trying to find the answers.. then Mr Devereaux was like. it's basically common sense.. we stared at each other.. hehehe...Next.... drafting.. at first I thought I was the only girl in the class... but out of the whole class of i think 28.. there were only 7 girls.. couldn't sign in coz the cpu wouldn't let me change my password.. so i had to use another account.. we just played around with autocad... went on the internet...lunch felt different today..somehow...had french right after with Lily...Mme Thibault was still there!! I was like.. is she staying!?! She's leaving on Friday for her surgery. Kinda creepy the way she described what she's doing to her leg..eeeeeww....sigh had to copy notes and then copy all the verbs from the text...didn't do anything in math.. just listened to Mr Huzyk talk.. he's so funny..he introduced a new student from Korea and told us to say aniang (however you spell it).. then Cole blabbered something out in mandarin.. prob didn't know what it ment either...i didn't catch what he said...hehehe Mr huzyk's like.."I'm the worst behaved person in this room.. if anyone behaves worst than I do, you're gonna get it!" There were so many people i never knew where in my classes...
