[and it's all over..]

phew.. Did our speaking test in the first block and presentation after the break.Leona and Wanta went first, then Frank and Eric and then us..i screwed up one part of it!!! I was like d'accord... tres bien..et comme boisson.. [errr] but Mme Waterton said we covered everything so it was good... We were the first people to present our restaurant in the second block.. our recording was so loud..coz we played it on the stereo.. ah well glad we got that over with..Ming, Crytal and Chelsea's commercial was so good.. Eric, Frank and Andrew's commercial was funny.. Frank had paper [it was supposed to be a cape] tied around his neck. I think their logo was some dynamite dude called Mc Baller..I got 19 out of 20 on my science test.. and we had like a study chart to do just before it too.. damn.. could have gotten 22 out of 20.. but.. no...ah well.. 19 will have to do.. We watched a video on these people who climbed Mt Everest.. didn't get to watch it til the end coz i had to leave early for my game..LA Matheson REALLY were not as good as i thought they would be..all the guys won their games.. cept Jun and Lily [Chang].. poor Jun.. Lily didn't even look like she was trying.. she served a pop up serve and the guy just smashed it down.. thankfully the girl on the other team wasn't as good either.. Lily would serve it and the guy smashed it [not even really a hard smash] back at her and she just stood there.. she didn't even attempt to get it.. i was like.. o-m-g move!! do something! Jun was the only one running behind her to get the shots.. If it were Jensen he would be running like all over the court.. [prob get really frustrated too.. eep diane.. lol] Sylvia and I played good games.. we had 2 matches.. The first set was like 15 to 9 and then 15 to 14 for us..the other people we played.. they weren't so good.. our scores were 15 to 2 and then 15 to 0 for us.. 0!!!! i think they were tired.. but really no offence but they weren't the greatest..if only they played singles..but.. nope..Wanta lost her singles game.. and I think the other loss was Jun and Lily C.. So we beat LA Matheson 9 to 2.. better than our other games with Kwantlen Park and Ever Creek..i don't like LA Matheson's gym.. the nets are green and it makes it harder to see your opponent and the lights are so bright you can't see the bird when it goes up..their t shirts are like plain white with the school amblem [amblem??] on the front.. and one the back it's like black tape..they taped the numbers.. or whatever on the back.. this girl she had a star.. our shirts look good..they had an advantage..and when we were playing our first match, this photographer guy is taking pictures and the flash is so bright it blinds you for a second.. and screws up the rallies.. i was like.. is that considered interference!!??! he flashed it like 3 times! that was not fair.. hmm not sure whether it was our point or theirs.. Sylvia and I missed so many shots we could have gotten... our second match was in the centre court.. and it was far away from where every one was sitting.. and i could still hear Jensen talking..he was watching our game.. and when i missed or when it was high and good for a smash he was like.. no! yes!! smash!! the pressure.....knowing that someone's watching you..practice tmr.. hope i play better tmr... i played well for a period of time.. but it's just gone these past 2 days..Jensen and Wanta rallied me and Sylvia.. but it only lasted like 2 minutes.. coz SOMEONE[cough jensen cough] hit the bird up like a baseball and got it stuck in the basket ball backboard..i have nothing to do today.. all the busy work is DONE! hmm when i got home.. my sister was in tears.. and I kinda figured.. she was being stubborn again and wasn't listening to what my mom said.. she always asks for help and when my mom tells her what to do.. she argues and says it's wrong..but then sometimes the teacher teaches something different from what my mom learned in her school days.. so there's another problem..and since i haven't been through a whole lot of elementary, I can't agree with anyone of them.. and i'm always pulled in between them..
Alice was talking to me about Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design... i may consider going to that college.. sounds good..hehehe.. but i'm in grade 9.... 3 years to go..

[So many things to do tmr!!!]

Had a sub for french today.. had him before for gym once.. well at least he doesn't make any mistakes when he's teaching.. unlike Mme Waterton.. who writes the wrong things on the board and then figures it out when we've copied part of it down..We have our speaking test tmr and our presentation.. ahh butterflies in my stomach!! i just finished writing the notes on cards for our presentation.. I'm glad i did my math at lunch.. it's all done.. so i don't have to worry about that.. We're doing equations using 'FOIL' and Mr Huzyk's like.. this is a critical point in math.. it's gonna get harder..[don't need that!!] Doing the digestive system in science and we have a test tmr.. have to study.. or.. review..we've been doing absolutely NOTHING in drafting for 2 weeks..every class is NOTHING.. no teaching at all..i played Big 2 for a bit.. and then the rest of the class was NOTHING.. today's badminton practice sucked sooooo much.. Something was really wrong.. none of us could get any of the shots we were supposed to.. they were a really crappy set of games..and we have a game with LA Matheson tmr.. Mr Slade didn't put me in singles..he put Wanta in it again.. hehe.. she's like NoooOOOo..I'm in doubles with Sylvia.. why'd he have to put me with her.. why not Lily.. i wanted to play with Lily..hmm i think Lily's playing with KoChien? Well i guess Sylvia's ok.. but she keeps saying she's gonna screw up and suck and all that.. i'm like just concentrate on the game and stop feeling jittery and we'll play well.. but whenever she says she sucks and all that crap it makes me get nervous..and then both of us screw up our shots and serves..she pops the bird up too much.. and if the people we're playing are good, they'll serve the birds to her and not me..We got our shirts.. they look pretty good.. it's black with red and white lines that cross each other on the front and it says FireHawks Badminton.. and the lines i think make up the letters FH so Fraser Heights..and there's a picture of a birdie on the back.. it looks really good.. The art gallery thing was... meh.. since it was at the mall.. it wasn't so 'grand'.. the frames weren't even set up nicely.. they were all crooked..i got 3 of my paintings in..the sunflower[by.. someone], and Starry Night [Van Gough], and a garden [again.. by someone]. My set of paintings were titled Nature's Rhapsody.. never knew that's what the theme was.. I think Mrs Mctavish was the only teacher who spoke the most.. she was like 'I'm glad to see that a lot of artists are here.. and we are proud to say... blahblahblahblah.. and that we have a library gallery'.. none of the other teachers said anything like that..whoa it's almost 10.. need to study..

[worst days.... monday mornings]

Mme Waterton was caught in traffic.. arrived in class about 15 minutes late.. BUT too bad she called the school.. and i think it was Mme Corrado who opened the door and some spanish student teacher subbed for that 15 mins..She came panting into the class.. and she was like awwwhh!!! Eric was like 'name on the board!' and Frank's like.. 'WHY are you late?!?!' and it was kinda obvious.. mme waterton pointed at the window.. her actions were like exagerated.. you could see a line of traffic moving slowly outside.. and Frank's like 'all i see is a nice bright sunny day..' but anyway.. we didn't have to do our speaking test coz Mme Waterton forgot to bring the tape recorder.. we were supposed to record it?? hmm we're having it on Weds.. the day of our presentations.. i got an A on my math test.. thank god...just need a feeeew more marks and i'm up to an A.. the school's cpus weren't working today.. some mechanics came in to do something and they didn't have a wire? according to Mr Lim.. so we couldn'tlog on to the cpus.. ah well got to finish my science in drafting and they played The Wedding Singer.. really stupid movie..practice was really good today.. at first i hit so hard.. and the heat in the gym just drained the energy out..whenever Harry walked pass our game he was like 'HIT HARDER!! and SERVE HIGHER!!' i was like 'I AM!!!!!!!' really hope Mr Slade doesn't put me in singles... but i know for sure i'm in the line up.. coz i'm driving.. i wanna play with Lily.. since Diane can't make it on Weds..if diane doesn't come.. that means that we have one more space in my car..wonder who Mr Slades gonna put in the car with us.. I was gonna stay after practice to play somemore.. but there was no one.. just seniors and one or two grade 9s...practice today was just free play.. coz Mr Slade was at a conference.. but tmr it's gonna be a normal practice.. which means warming up in the heat of the gym.. [hope it rains tmr.. or at least cool... it was burning today] and it's gonna be drills..sigh...I have to go to Central City tmr for the art presentation thing...and i have to be there at 6:30 and the awards are at 7..wonder if Mrs Mctacish is gonna be there or it's just the 10 people?? 9 people?? and people from other schools....need to confirm with Alice if she needs a ride..

[Badminton at Guildford]

Diane and I got there just before they opened.. I wasn't here last night til 11:30pm so i had so many messages and Jensen said something about meeting in front of the 2 windows and we'll go in together.. so anyway we were walking around outside the gym and there were quite a few people coming in.. so we decided to grab a court first.. rallied for a bit and there was something wrong with the the birdie.. it wouldn't go fast.. and it was soo warm in the gym.. how can you turn the heat up that high.. gets so stuffy in there.. Jensen arrived about 5 mins after we signed in.. the lady at the counter was like.. you guys cannot come in to play unless you have a parent.. and they're not gonna let anyone in next week who doesnt have a parent.. kinda stupid.. yeh it IS family drop in.. but can't family mean siblings.. [cough friends cough cough..]..there's no other place we can go to play that way.. all we want to do is play badminton in the morning.. is that so hard for them to let us in.. but anyway... now i remember that guy's name.. Bin! So it was Patrick and Bin who go there every week..there were so many people there.. we had half a court... so had to take turns rallying.. while i was waiting. these girls asked me if i wanted to play with them.. so i played doubles with them.. me and their mom i think.. and them two.. they had a feather birdie.. nicer to play with those.. but i'm not used to it anymore...they were pretty good.. their mom.. err. not so good.. but she could get it over.. and she spoke to me in chinese and she mumbled something really fast.. she was like 'when we want to hit the bird we have to say mine right'.. i was like.. ehh. yeh sure.. and she yelled mine even if it was nowhere near me. but ah well.. she can say whatever she wants.. after i played with them.. their mom didn't want to play anymore... so i got Jensen to play with me against them.. only coz Diane said she'd give him a dollar. which she didn't.. Jensen played with Patrick and Bin and Olivia i think.. so Diane and I went over.. 3 on 3.. guys against girls.. while we were walking over.. Jensen was like 'yeh.. you 3 girls on we three girls..' hehehe.. I was like.. Jensen.. you girls?!? Bin and Patrick were like stepping away from him.. hehehe...we were gooooooood.. either that or the guys weren't playing very well.. or going easy on us.. [go diane.. get those smashes..but the drop shots.. ehh... =)..] Jensen said that Mr Slade may consider putting me and him in mixed doubles.. is that supposed to be good or bad??We played so much..played singles with Patrick.. i really need to work on my court movement.. then Bin gave me a 'lesson'.. told me to serve high and deep and near the centre of the court.. coz i guess Jensen told him that i was playing singles...yeh... he told me where to serve if it was short or long..and if it was a short serve to run back fast coz chances are the person's gonna return it back.. and if it was high to drop it to the side.. i'm learning...[thumbs up... mmhmm].. and he was nice.. he let me practice my services.. then diane was like jamie!.. and Jensen's like 'diane.. she's practicing'.. omg we played this kid.. i think Patrick's brothers.. they are sooo good.. and they're like what Joey's age?? if you serve it to their forehand they smack it straight at you.. their height it perfect for it.. if i bent down that low it would slow me down.. but their serves are whoa.. amazing.. they can't run but the hit..i got a blister... ouch.. after that we walked to Guildford to get a drink coz the powerade at the rec. centre was like 2$.. EXpensive.. so we walked to the dollar store and got drinks. so much difference.. a dollar difference..Jensen bought 2 bottles of lemonade.. and he finished so fast!! there was this girl.. she was like..'it looks like you play tennis..' and i was like ' it's badminton.. ' and she gave me the weirdest stare.. and when said it was a badminton racket.. she continued to stare at me... creepy..we walked from the dollar store to the food court and he was done... diane and i were like... holy that was fast.. i got a puckerberry blizzard.. wasn't really that sour.. kinda weird tasting.. then went to Mc D's..and waited outside Walmart for Jensen's mom.. then went back to Mc D's and got fries.. mmm fat...well that's half a day gone.. still have to finish my French menu and review my speaking test...thank god it's not in front of the class.. Mme Waterton's like.. 'we go outside.. and then parler parler parler..' ooo Newlyweds marathon tonight..must not miss that..

Just watched Bend it like Beckham.. good movie.. arrh damn missed Edward Scissorhands yesterday.. forgot to tape it.. The Astronaut's Wife is going on soon.. Johnny Depp too!!! Also there's newlyweds.. and and.. and.. Chocolat is going on.. tho it's on the french channel.. so it's prob gonna be in french.. which kinds sucks.. Johnny Depp speaking french..

I stopped watching it at like 9:45.. found out that Spencer[Johnny Depp] like changed after he was in a comma from an explosion in space.. and it was so psychological thing.. didn't want to continue watching it.. hehehe.. Chocolat was good.. hehe Johnny Depp.. even tho it was in french.. There was this other show.. the war or something.. with Elijah Wood.. sigh so many movies have to go on at the same time on the same day.. and the rest of the week.. there's nothing..
French speaking test tmr!!! and then french presentation on Weds.. hope the menu and poster aren't due tmr.. i still need to add something to the menu.. Badminton game against LA Matheson also on Weds.. need to ask my dad if he's gonna drive.. or if he wants to.. ok.. should go..

[5 hours... is LONG]

Phew.. I don't ever want to think of kids.. awh..Got there at 6:30.. and Peter said that they rented videos... Watched Balto with them... for about 1hour.. maybe and a half.. by then it was about 8:45pm.. so got them their snack.. and finally got them upstairs.. Chris was in his room playing with lego.. Ally and Joseph were jumping around in their room.. Got Mags to brush her teeth and wash her face while i brushed Joseph's teeth and got him changed.. Mags went to her room to change.. and Ally... took a while to get him to brush his teeth and change.. Chris was still not changed and hadn't brushed his teeth.. so i delt[dealed?] with him later.. Read Mags and Joseph stories and then went to Mags' room to read her another one... when i got her in bed with the lights out, i went back to Ally and Joseph's room to get THEM to bed.. and it's kinda hard to get 2 boys to bed when one's always making some sorta noise which wakes the other up..turned the lights off in their room and spoke to Chris.. didn't really listen to me until i threatened to tell his dad.. coz his dad already warned them that if they didn't listen that there would be consiquences[forgive my spelling..].. When I went downstairs, there was a LOT of noise.. Ally was playing with the harmonica which got Joseph playing it too... when i finally got them quiet.. i tried to get Chris in.. and everytime i went downstairs.. SOME noise could still be heard.. Chris was playing the piano i was like.. 'Chris.. it's good that you can play the piano.. but can you please GO TO BED!' i must have gone up and down those stairs a thousand times.. the last few times i went up i stood outside Chris's door and whenever the door moved i was like 'Chris get in bed!'....Finally got down to watch my movie.. they rented Shanghai noon for me.. which i didn't finish but it was pretty much the end.. Every few minutes Chris crept down the stairs and sat there to watch... i had to keep turning around to see if he was there.. the phone rang 2wice!.. and both times was to say that Peter didn't have soccer practice the next day.. man why do people call so late.. and the practice was only at 2pm.. couldn't they call the next day??? do you know how long it took before Chris stopped coming down to peek at what i was watching.. 2 hours! He only stopped at like 10 past 11pm.. and one of the times he came down to eat something... but jeez.. how long does it take for a kid to fall off to sleep.. oo it's late.. must go.. i got so many messages on my msn.. and someone added me.. wonder who it is... have to wake up early tmr to play badminton.. [excited!.. hehehe]

[Arts Council of Surrey]

Alice told me that Mrs Mctavish wanted to see me coz I have an invitation to the Arts Council of Surrey. My work's gonna be up in the gallery!! =) So i went down to the art room at break and Mrs Mctavish explained what it was and where it was.. and that she, Ms Nickel, and Ms Koch liked my work.. the other day I went to the art room with Lily and Mctavish wasn't sure whether my stuff was in it.. and said that it may be in the library... I have 1 hour and 5 minutes to waste.. then I have practice and it's friday...need rest.. babysitting tmr.. 6:30 to 11:30.. hopefully not all four.. but i doubt Chris and Ally are going with Linda and Peter.. So it's probably gonna be all four of them.. well they'll be in bed by 9:30pm so hope they'll cooperate and stay in their rooms..Joseph will fall asleep eventually.. but the last time I couldn't get Mags to bed...first she was thirsty.. then she said she had a stomach ache.. and she said she has medicine for it but i can't give her medicine without being sure.. well.. 32.50$...i'll bear with it.. Probably playing badminton on Sunday..[Diane you have to play!!don't be lazy!! You already ditched me last week..] had my math and science tests today.. got 31/37 for science.. pretty good.. but not good enough.. wonder what i got for math.. i checked it 2wice! and corrected mistakes..[finger's crossed.. must bring it up to a high B.. possibly an A]

got back from practice at 6:30....only after school i found out that the practice was posponed to 4:30.. instead of 3.. coz there was girls basketball in the big gym..so.. had to wait..went to the other end of the school to tape our[me and lily] french radio commercial.. there was absolutely no place in school that was quiet.. so we had to go outside..and it was frickin cold out there..took a while to finally get it recording.. and screwed up SOOOO many times.. pronouced words wrong.. forgot words.. even though there were right infront of us.. and then when we finally got it right and played it back.. the first part wasn't recorded.. so had to wait like 5 seconds before speaking.. when we finally got it..it sounded kinda.. weird..my voice is different on recording..after that.. went to the small gym with Diane and Wanta..watched the guys play basketball...then like 15 minutes later, these grade 8 girls came in[evil twin!! lol diane].. they were like 'All of you have to LEAVE!! Out of the gym!!' and they began setting up the volleyball net.. Mrs Brown came in and said that the court was not booked for volleyball til 4:30.. and it wasn't 4:30...but they chased us out anyway coz their coach came.. so we were all chased out to the cafeteria...lol we were looking for things to rally with.. paper towel doesn't work..[hehehe] then we saw Mr Nguyen and he got us birds.. rallied for a bit.. it's really hard playing without the lines and the net.. the bird seems to go further than it usually does.. plus the lighting.. whenever TaeZun served me a clear i look up at the light and it blinds me.. and then the bird hits the banners and messes up the rally.. 4:30 finally came!! we set up the nets and played.. Keli wasn't here.. so Jensen rallied with us[me, diane and wanta].. we REALLY didn't play well at first.. that was really sad.. so many birds missed and it was really really really pathetic.. but after it was ok.. played mix with jensen against wanta and diane..Mr Slade wasn't there to coach us.. so it was pretty much free play the whole time.. unlike yesterday which was practice the entire time.. the seniors were practicing.. their coach was.. err.. coaching.. they did drills and all that.. then Harry told Jensen and us to do the drill along with them.. since we were the few of the 'better' people.. Jensen was like.. 'we're special'.. had to run to the net, lunge.. back to the centre.. then to the back and clear.. and then back.. tiring.. Jensen continued for like 5 minutes while I played Wanta and Diane.. hehehe.. then after Harry stood on the court and made us do the drill.. scary.. he MADE us do it.. he really wants us to get better.. then he made me play with Jensen against Joon and Brad..[i think his name is Brad..]Brad can hit well.. but according to Jensen his serves are high which he can just smash down on... I was trying to serve short.. but my serves were just 'slightly' too high.. lost the first game like.. 17-15.. then won the next 17-16.. pretty good.. Jensen was scary.. i missed sooo many..BUT the shots that i got were pretty good.. i did the drop and net shots and Jensen did the hard and smashes.. he got most of them... so yeh.. he's sooo scary when he gets mad.. diane watched part of our game.. and when i miss like 2 shots in a row.. or serve too high or too low.. i'm like.. arrh..and there was like one point when he was so mad that he flung his racket.. don't know if he dropped it.. or threw it.. scary.. and he hit so hard that it went out which made him even more angry.. i was like.. ahhhhh.. diane kept giving me looks.. lol..but after the game when diane and i were talking to him, we were like. Jensen you are so scary when you get mad.. and he was like..' i was trying to control my anger.. [takes a deep breath and holds it in]' but overall it was a pretty good set of games.. played Harry and... what's his name.. don't know his name.. [flips through yearbook.] hmm another Joon.. there are 2 Joons.. never knew that..yeh played 2 seniors.. they let me practice my short hand.. and Harry told me to serve backhand... which was pretty nice of them...lol.. when we were resting.. harry was talking to me.. he was like.. you need to work on your serves.. and just after he said that diane was like 'oh i'm pro' and he was like.. and your friend has to stop doing that..[lol diane.. he said thatr]...just a little more practice and I've got it!!!phew.. tired.. my sores are almost gone.. must confirm Sunday....I wanna play!! hmm the scores are finally in for the games we've played.. and the standings.. doesn't have our second game tho..

Played better today...tried to play smartly... managed to work on my drop shots.. and net shots.. some of the drops still don't go over.. but i'm working on it.. Mr Slade made us warm up... and did the drills[running from side to side on the court.]TIRING!! and then we did the mirror thing.. Jensen was like going slowly.. lol i went fast at first.. and then i slowed down.. legs we so tired that they couldn't move fast.. like really really strained.. numb.. but after i walked it out... after all the warm ups if you rest for like 2 minutes.. you can play a pretty good game.. played half court singles with wanta.. wanta didn't run for my drop shots!!! well coz of her ankle... sigh.. Lily and Diane didn't come for practice!!! Diane had dance.. and Lily.. bad bad lily.. skipped practice for work... then after the singles games we played doubles.. Me and Jensen with Keli and Wanta.. wasn't really a proper game.. Coz Jensen and Keli kept argueing... as always.. Jensen and Keli can't play each other.. they're all like ha you suck.. ha didn't get that.. ha..guys....yeh then Jensen had 7 bird in his hand and he was about to smack them at Keli.. then Mrs Robinson came into the gym.. when she left.. He hit them at Keli and then ran around the gym with birds.. wonder how we got so many.. started off with only 4.. then there were a whole lot of them on the ground.. so Wanta and I played... hmm pretty good practice.. not one of the best games.. but.. it's coming along.. wasn't allowed to smash in the half court singles.. i wanted to so badly...but none of the serves that Keli served to be during doubles could be smashed.. even if they were i didn't.. tried.. but couldn't.. went to deep..

Mr Slade put me in girls double..[thank god for that] and i played with Crystal.. She stands so near the centre line that I have to shift over to the left a bit which isn't good.. i kept telling her to stand in the centre of her side but she keeps on going back.. and I can't serve short services coz i'm afraid i'd lose the point if it was too low and hit the net or too high and they smash it down..I hate keeping score.. i'm concentrating on the score and not the skill of the game.. and then do stupid things.. i must have popped the bird up a few times.. our first game was like 15 to 9 for us.. which was.. hm pretty good.. second game was 15 to 14.. for THEM!!!! it was sooooo close.. soooooo soooo sooo close..third game was also 15 to 14.. for THEM!! it was soooo close.. i think we gave it away too easily.. way too easily.. Mr Slade even said we were the better team.. it was all fluke... we would have won.. but we didn't...sigh.. always next time.. next weds.. LA Matheson.. but it's not a home game.. so would that make a difference?? I wonder who he's gonna choose tho.. If he never switches the people around.. those people will never play.. like Stella, Stephanie and Sylvia.. Sylvia should get to play.. but Stella and Stephanie.. well it wouldn't be fair not to let them play.... they pop the bird up too much.. i need practice.. and i need to get this cough/cold out of my system.. sigh.. been like this for 3 weeks.. i don't feel sick.. but i am.. my mom said it may be allergies.. but i doubt it.. practice tmr.. and friday.. i want to play on sunday.. then more practice on monday and tuesday . .then our game.. i need all the practice i can get.. must work on my drop shots.. it never makes it over the net out of 10 tries i can only get it over about 2 to 3.. I'm holding the racket right.. which makes it easy to smash but somehow.. just can't concentrate on the scores.. and the skill.. and the court movement.. phew.. when i was taking the nets down.. the STUUUpid post handle... i flicked the pin and it sprang round.. wham.. right on my hand.. bruised now.. thankfully not on my left hand.. or else i'm screwed..
French.. need to type out the sheets for our menu.. and then memorise a speech for our unit test and another 'speech' for our ad.. We were suppose to work on our projects in class... not a lot of people got to it.. managed to get part of the speech memorised with lily.. but i'm like screwing parts up..Chad put System of a Down on.. and turned it on to full blast.. Mme Waterton didn't even mind.. But Eric did so he turned it down.. like way down.. there was some swearing that could be heard.. and i think it was F the System that was going on..and the chorus is like F*ck the System repeatedly[if you listen to it you'll know] and Mme Waterton was like did he just say what i thought he said? then Chad changed the cd to ANOTHER System of a down one.. and blasted it..

the seniors have a home game today... so there's no practice!!!!! I need the pratice!! if he's gonna put me on singles again.. the only time i'll have pratice next is tmr at lunch and then we have another home game that afternoon...
nothing to do again in drafting.. i wonder what the final will be for drafting.. i've finished all the problems.. just maybe one that i didn't get and it was like a few problems from the end..

phew.. omg... i was so nervous.. Harry was like giving me tips.. he's like the girl you're playing is not extremely good.. but she's not bad either.. i was like.. hmm.. my first game was soooooo bad.. 11 to 2.. ouch ouch ouch.. then Mr Slade gave me a few pointers.. did slightly better.. served it to her left more so she had to do backhand... found her weakness..but she found mine.. i managed to make her miss most of her backhands... 11 to 5.. still ouch ouch.. but better than the first one.. after that.. rallied with Lily and Diane.. Krissy.. then Jensen.. and then Harry made me rally with both Jensen AND Ke-li.... i think i played better.. i played non stop.. my face was red.. but i managed to get all Jensen's shots.. so proud(hehe diane's line) played til 5:30.. then i gave up.. for now.. must practice tmr.. and hopefully at lunch on weds.. our next game's on weds..against Kwantlean Park.. hmm i think we've played them before...ok... must go do my math.. sigh work the brain again...

Was supposed to meet Jensen, Ke-li and Diane at the guildford rec. centre this morning for badminton.. then at 7:50am Diane called to say she couldn't come...so, went to guildford.. and they were having some sorta "garage" sale going on.. and it took up half of the big gym.. so i walked back and forth to see if the gym was still open for badminton.. the nets were up.. and there were people coming in with rackets...but... Jensen and Ke-li were no where in sight.. so i went back to the car... and waited somemore..half an hour went by.. so i decided to call Diane.. since i didnt have Jensen's OR Ke-li's number.. i asked jensen for his mom's cel phone or something.. but he didn't give it to me.. so.. called diane and asked her to see if any of them were online.. nope.. so i went home.. after lunch.. Jensen came on and i was like where were you?! and then he's like.. i was there 7mins late.. but he was there.. i waited half and hour.. but i didn't see him or ke-li.. then he said that he went in by the front door.. not where you sign in.. sigh.. ah well.. game's tmr and it's too late now.. there was court time from 4pm-7:45pm... but... nah.. too late.. I'll just play tmr.. and see how Enver Creek plays...i don't think we played them last year.. rollerbladed again.. the air was warm out today.. not cold at all...played with Joseph.. he was like all hyper...tried to play badminton with Joey.. but she can't hit it hard enough and then the breeze blows the bird and it doesn't reach me.. wonder if my skill level's dropped.. even that teensy bit makes a difference.. but then again.. playing outside doesn't work.. after that we played with Joseph.. he was really hyper.. watched Peter and Chris play hockey.. then watched Simon and Sam play hockey.. really boring day.. i'm glad it's over.. but then school starts tmr.. i attempted to review my math... it worked.. and then it stopped.. there was absolutely nothing to do yet i couldn't concentrate.. break's are evil..i'll catch up with my math tmr.. then hopefully get an A on that test..

just got back from outside.. decided to rollerblade.. haven't done so for.......a really long time.. Joey and Hayley were out for once.. the whole spring break, they've been inside.. and it's always our house.. Trevor, Jacob, Jay, and Jonathan were playing baseball on the road.. like ouch...if you skidded on the road.. but somehow they manage..then after they played basketball...hmm not really basketball.. more like piggy in the middle with a basketball.. and of course Jay (the smallest person) is made to be in the middle.. but hey i don't decide, i just stand there and catch the ball..i didn't cough as much for some reason.. maybe all the germs in my stuffed up room makes me cough.. i should open the window... but then the spiders will come in... i'll go sit on the deck in my comfy black chair, absorb some sun.. this cough better go away...
hmm my dad changed the lightbulbs in my room.. finally.. my room's been so dark for 3 weeks.. it's too bright now.. my eyes aren't used to the brightness anymore.. ahhhhh

Watched Secret Window just now.. great movie.. it was kinda scary but after you've seen it and think about it, it ain't that scary.. The theatre was like deserted so we got good seats.. Diane and I had our legs on the chairs infront of us and we were like slouched down (i was like covering my face)..the movie starts off with making you think that Morton Rainey (Johnny Depp) is just like a writer who stays by himself in a cabin with like no one around and all he does everyday is sleep, eat and think of his stories..and he recently got a divorce with his wife, Amy(he has this voice in his head that talks to him and tells him what to do)....and then this guy, John Shooter, he appears at his door one day and the first thing he says to Mort is "You stole my story".... so this guy leaves a copy of "his" story at Mort's front door.. Mort doesn't bother to read it... and when he finally decides to look at it.. he figures out that it's identical to one of his stories that was published in a book and magazine.... he knows he didn't steal the story, but Shooter keeps coming back at him...then one night.. he hears something outside and when he steps out to turn on the porch light, he finds the lightbulb cracked on the ground.. so he gets his flashlight and inspects the front yard.. there was a notice on the wall [you have 3 days... no police] next to in on the table there was something with a cloth over it.. Mort lifted it up and it was his dog!! and it was dead!! and it had a knife sticking out of it!!! and they played creepy music!!! lol that was pretty much the most scary bit..hehehe there are a few more scary scenes but we'll get to that soon..k so Mort goes to the police with details..but the guy didn't seem very serious about it.. he sees clues all around him.. him and Shooter smoked the same brand of cigarettes but whenever anyone offered him cigarettes he said he didn't smoke..so now Mort's all paranoid coz he thinks Shooter's trying to freak him out and kill him...he like carries a stick around and sees things.... he was gonna go by Amy's house to pick up the magazine with his story in it..but as he drove by, she and her husband(or boyfriend) were about to go out.. and Mort sat and watched as they left.. the next day, she called him up to say that their house had been burnt down..in Mort's mind right now, he thinks that Shooter did it..(makes the audience think the same way as Mort).. so then they sign some papers and Ted, Amy's husband seemed suspicious and he wants Mort out of his life.. so Mort figured he had something to do with it..lol.. the house had nothing to do with Ted so he had to leave the room.. and Mort was like "rubbernecker!"..so then the story goes on.. there's a cop that comes by every now and then to check out the house for anyone.."Shooter" leaves his hat infront of Mort's house then he phones the house and tells Mort to meet him at the same place that they first met.. and there was a truck there with one of the neighbours i think... and they were dead.. Mort was like freaking out and he fainted. When he woke up, Shooter was there and he told Mort to hurry up.. all he wanted was Mort to change the ending of the story coz Shooter didn't like the way Mort ended it.. and to put his name there...the guys who were killed.. one was stabbed with a screwdriver and "Shooter" used one of Mort's.. so then there would be evidence that it was Mort who killed those people.. He pulled the screwdriver out of the guys head and pushed the car into the water (they were on a cliff)...once again, "Shooter" vanishes..Mort went to collect a package, the one with the magazine in it... his proof..when he reaches home, he doesn't get out of the car and he turns the envelope over and there's a rip in it.. like someone had already opened it.. but he only just got it from the post office.. he flips through the pages to his story.. but it had been cut out.. all the pages to his story were gone.. at home he sits down and looks at the hat..and then the voice talks to him again.. it's like his thoughts..he puts the hat on and stares at himself in the mirror..and he asks "Why did i put it on" and the voice says..."maybe Shooter wanted you to" and then he sees many of himself talking to him.. his voice changes and he sounds like Shooter.. his personality just switches.. (at the same time, Amy is on her way to his house to sign their divorce papers)... the voice talks to him more.. Mort asks why Shooter wanted him to put the hat on.. and the voice tells him that Shooter wants him to change the ending.. it keeps repeating in his mind.. change the ending.. when Amy arrives, Mort is upstairs and the place is a mess.. carved all over the walls was Shooter.. Shooter.. Shoot'er..Shoot'er.. Shoot'er.. when she went up stairs... Mort appeared behind a door.. and on the wall behind him was SHOOT HER.. omg.. that was a bit creepy.. it all made sense now.. the voice kept telling him to change the ending..Shooter had read the ending that he wanted earlier on... it was the perfect ending.. and that was what he(shooter) wanted.. Mort ran after Amy and stabbed her with the screwdriver.. and then Ted arrived and Mort hit him in the face with the shovel..then killed Amy with the shovel and he burried them in the Secret Garden which the Secret Window overlooks.. that was the exact same place he burried his dog.. and he grew corn there to hide the evidence.. it was the exact ending to his story...Now he understood.. Shooter was a someone he created.. he was in one of his stories...it wasn't Mort who killed Amy.. it wasn't Mort who killed Ted.. it wasn't Mort who killed Chico(the dog).. it was all John Shooter...
It was a great movie.. I would watch it again.. i like the twist in it...Writer's a cool.. they have really crazy minds.. drives them nuts tho.. I figured out that the maid that Mort had.. she may not have been real....she could have been sorta like someone Mort created, just like he created Shooter to help end his story...and all the symbolism...Mort wanted to 'straighten things out'.. like straighten his life out.. so he created Shooter to help him.. when we go into the window at the beginning, we're actually seeing things through Mort's POV.. and that's why we can see Shooter.. coz that's what Mort sees.. and when we come out of the window, we see Mort in the hat.. Chico, the dog, didn't notice Shooter.. it was just like Mort talking to himself..

after the movie we were suppose to meet Janette and Alex at Guildford.. but i think Alex met Ted and Andy? there.. some other Andy.. they ditched us to go play table tennis at the recreational centre.. so it was just me, Janette and Diane.. saw Rachel there too... pretty boring.. walking around the mall... i got a ring.. but i think the best part of today was the movie. =).. hey it's St Patricks day tmr.. according to my calendar..

It's sooooo sunny today.. my neighbours just came to call on me.. lol Mags and Joseph.. my mom was like "jamie! mags is at the door for you.." I'm like.. mags.. hm.. yeh i get 3 and 4 year old kids come call on my to play with them.. told them i was cleaning my room and i'll be out later.. then Joseph asked me... he was like "jamie.....what's in your kitchen" (in his little accent).. i'm like.. o~k.. cookies.. then i asked him what was in his kitchen and he went on and on..

Mme Waterton left for Ontario a few hours ago.. i think.. she's probably in Ontario right now.. according to her she's gonna be in a club? tonight.. got 10 out of 10 on my mini interrogation...omg the math test today was like.. a total... mess..but Mr Huzyk said we can write another one the tuesday after we get back...Went to the talent show.. hehehe didn't go for that meeting.. ah well Lily said she'd go for us since she didn't want to go to the talent show.. but I didn't hear anything about the meeting.. today the crowd was... wow.. way better than yesterday..hmm maybe coz they made everyone pay to get in.. Lily, Krissy and Diane went to Oiishi after school.. (skipped badminton!! Bad!) didn't have my strip or racket.. i would have gone... but i didn't.. and Diane said it was just for shooting if you wanted..Mr Slade wasn't there.. and the seniors were practicing... oo I watched Benny and Joon just now.. good movie.. about a brother and sister and the sister has some mental problem.. but it's not really serious....and Johnny Depp acted in it!!! The movie came out in 1993.. so long ago.. he was sooo young.. but still hot..

Went through 3 chapters in Math today.. phew.. i actually got all the work done before 6.. and i played badminton today too.. hmm didn't really play well.. Mr Slade didn't make us warm up.. for once..worked on clears and drop shots.. was gonna go to the talent show.. got in line with a hectic crowd.. got into the theatre.. found good seats.. and then got kicked out...everyone was like pushing and screaming so loud that they posponed it to tmr and are charging 25cents entry fee... can't go.. have a meeting with Mr Nguyen for the announcement broadcasting thing..aww but Janette's playing.. and Bruce..hmm who else..Adam and Won were doing some major flooding to my chatbox in drafting.. sigh.. now i have to delete them...all 20 pages!! Watched Chocolat in French today.. really good movie... wasn't much French in it tho.. it was in a French town.. where French people lived.. and French lifestyle.. yet... not a lot of them spoke French.. love that movie.. Frank, Eric, Jimmy and Brandon kept talking.. and then all of a sudden Frank screams at Wanta "EY!" and Mme Waterton was like.. "why are you screaming at her.. she wasn't talking." and he's like oh.. and turns to Jimmy and goes EY!.. lol..and then whenever there's a "sex scene".. they go "oh look.. they're gonna wrestle... "wrestle"
all the subjects i have this semester excluding drafting, i haven't done in a whole year.. coz i had them in the first semester last year and second this year.... can't remember anything... went to the talent show at lunch... soooo many people were crowded outside the theatre..diane and i actually got seats.. it was pretty good.. there was this guy, ash, he played the drums really well.. and then there was another group...they sang Where is the Love by B.E.P... really good.. sounded just like it.. well close enough..i think Krissy's gonna sing tmr.. oo can't wait.. had a sub for science.. Ms Purewal? did worksheets most of the class... watched a video that wasn't to pleasant.. Andrew is so.. how do i say this... screwed up in the brain? it can't be described.. lol.. it..he tries to fit in, yeh that's good.. but in a really weird way...

Mme Waterton always says Shut It instead of Shut Up.. coz she doesn't wanted to tell people to Shut up so she's like "Frank! Shut it" Now all the guys are mocking her... They're all like screaming in class "Shut it!!" Mme Waterton was laughing so hard that her eyes were red. Got our interims today and Frank got a C.. I think Mme Waterton said he was a borderline B.. and he was argueing (arguing?) with her... as usual...I got an A!! she didn't put up the percentage.. could be a low A.. sigh.. got a C for math.. ouch ouch and ouch.. i'll pull it up.. somehow.. the first chapter made my mark drop so much.. then i pulled it up by about 8%.. Mr Huzyk's gonna call later.. ahh.. so strange he's the only teacher who would call everyone's parents just for interim reports... Had my science Chem. Exam today.. 40/41.. studying pays off..and it was just that little mistake.. hmm drafting.. prob got an A.. it's so easy...so that's 2 As, a B and a C.. i can pull that up.. make Science and A and Math AT LEAST a high B.. but an A would be good...I have to miss badminton today.. aww i wanna play.. not gonna be able to play well if i don't practice.. and our first game is on the 22nd..we play Enver Creek at FH.. then on Wednesday we play Kwantlean Park at FH... lol Lily and I had an arguement on how cereal is made.. how IS it made?? must go look into that..We had a presentation today called "The Story of Bob" .. lemme see if i can find it on the internet...hmm our deck's coming along really fast.. it's practically almost done..

Block order changed today.. feels so weird having all the subjects that we had in the morning in the afternoon..We had to change our seating plan in French. Mme Waterton put me and Lily in the centre of all the guys. We are surrounded. There's Eric and Frank on Lily's right..Micheal and Jeff on my left.. and Andrew, Cam and Evan behind us.. that's going to be hell.. (Lily.. we HAVE to get Mme Waterton to change the seating plan..how can she possibly make the seating plan like that. at least split the guys apart)Science Chem Exam tmr! hehe Drafting was......... interesting.. Mr Lim was going around getting people to save their 3 assignments in discs.. Adam and I were commenting on Diane's journal.. and Adam just had to go moo like a ka-ba-zillion times.. He must have posted 15 comments..yeh.. diane found out.. i couldn't find anything to say that doesn't have Adam's name in it.. so i had to use it..
omg.. i thought i was gonna sit out for badminton today and just watch.. I told Mr Slade that i wasn't feeling very well.. so i sat out for the warm up and he said i could play coz we were doing serves, drop shots and net shots... they were doing _____shadowing.. (arrrhh i can't think of that word! what was it diane?!?!?!)yeh anyway.. i'm glad i didn't do the warm up..i played a little... did some serves and then played with the seniors!!! he said i was good!! then played a game, Jensen and I & Diane and Ke-li.. Badminton makes you go crazy after you've played 3 hours straight.. Coz Jensen was NOT acting normal..Either that or it's just guys.. I'm soooo tired.. i didn't even play much.. and i keep coughing.. sigh.. if I don't get any better tmr i don't think i'll go for practice.. i can't do the drills that Mr Slade does.. I played today.. hmm good enough... we have a game the first day we get back from Spring Break.. one week of slacking.. i don't think we'll play well..we have good players.. but some not so good players i don't think Mr Slade should have taken in to the team.. we have 20 people.. that means not as many games and some people will have to play less.. wonder who Mr Slade called on to tell them that they can't play as much...Could i play singles??? -8:30pm-
Today was the first day French class was actually controlled. it was quiet.. everyone was working! well maybe not everyone.. lily was drawing.. Frank, Eric, Doug, and Andrew were at rugby? yeh they weren't in class. It was the most peaceful class ever..or french class..Brandon kept throwing his orange on the ground.. ??? then he took micheal's pen and i think was gonna throw it back to him.. but it somehow got thrown out the window..

"math test.. shots.. badminton.. ahh"

Had a sort of "test-like" set of problems to do for drafting.. but hmm.. not really test.. just more important than the ones in the booklet...i'm so pro.. hehehe.. all my pictures were the closest to Mr Lims.. everyone else was off by so much more!! hmm well maybe coz they play games all block.. and Mr Lim doesn't really care either.. the guys wear caps, does Mr Lim tell them to take the caps off like everyone teacher does.. no..ackkkk.. my throat is so AGAIN.. and i feel cold AGAIN.. Math test.. eeek.. It was way easier than the first one... i checked it over twice.. found some mistakes.. but not all.. sigh.. i copied the questions down and got Doni to do them to see if i got them right...i didn't sustitute for the 2nd question!!! well that's one.. prob got somemore.. We must have been the last class to be called in for our shots.. Mr Huzyk told them not to call us down coz we had a test to write...Everyone seems to not like Problem Solving.. the ones in the testbook are so easy... it's just addition and subtraction.. it's just adding the variable that gets a little confusing.. but still.. Doni doesn't get it.. At break, Annie and I went downstairs.. only to be frightened by everyone who got their shots already...hehe if you're afraid of needles, don't go out for break..depends on who you talk to....i don't remember shots being really scary..my arm is sore now.. thank god i got mine done on my right arm.. still played badminton. phew.. Mr Slade didn't make us warm up for 45 MINS!! more like 15 this time...Mr Slade's better at coaching badminton.. Mr Nguyen didn't really coach.. he just let us play.. Mr Slade does the warm ups with us.. Mr Nguyen.. he just watches.. there's gonna be drills tmr.. i don't think i want to kill myself just yet.. i'll wait til this sore throat leaves first..
I think the dance is tonight.. Party Gras.. they were putting up a whole lot of streamers after school...
They're gonna make the announcements like broadcasting now.. Mr Nguyen's getting people to get reports, events, news to show on the tv monitors every friday...so much happens this semester, none of this could have been in the last semester.. i have so much to do this semester.. why why why

"He WANTED me to play!"

Double block of Science.. Had a lab.. we were burning potato chips! Andrew either has dyslexia.. or he's not very fluent at English.. he can speak reasonably well.. but he can't read..he's like.. can you read this to me.. I was like.. you want me to read it to you? i was like.. hmm ok no one in grade 9 has EVER asked me that..is he even in grade 9?? His brother was in my gym class... then he got transfered to a grade 8 class.. and Mrs Brown said that he was in grade 8.. and they are supposately twins..Mme Waterton's scream gets louder and louder everyday.. We had our daily quiz and Crystal had her notes.. the formulas... like S+ pronom+ V... and Mme Waterton just walked up to her and snatched the sheet and her duo tang.. Crystal was like.. i wasn't allowed to look at the formula?? Project coming up.. had to think of a name, slogan and logo for a restaurant.. and then present it...lol.. mine and Lily's was like.. La Usine Dessert.. (cough..the dessert factory).. the slogan's like Sentir le doucuer de le monde.. it's like taste the sweetness of the world.. i think..mme wateron said it was right.. so.. trust "her".. and it's right.. heh..she's a nice teacher.. but she doesn't know how to teach.. half the time she's shouting at the guys.. what's the point.. they don't listen to her..yeh everyone presented.. and then there were 2 groups left... me and lily.. and ming, crystal and chelsey...and the the announcements came on.. now we have to present it on Friday.. Had badminton AGAIN today...we have one more week before spring break.. right?? or maybe 2.. or 1.. whatever... only those days to pratice.. our first game is the monday we get back from Spring break.. wonder if my wrist would be slacking off by then.. Today Mr Slade made us warm up for like.. 45 mins... maybe even more.. had to run back and forth.. and then played tag like a few hundred times...first that "shark game" then partner tag.. sigh.. then had to relay.. then stretch.. Practice starts at 3 and ends at 4:30pm.. we warmed up til around 4.. which left us about half and hour at the end.. and we rallied before we warmed up.. stupid relay.. the guys didn't do it right like 3 times and then we had to redo it again and again.. Mr Slade told us to hold the racket the right way.. in which the frame has to be vertical.. everyone couldn't shoot right.. everyone was holding the racket wrong before.. so now we have to get the right way working..it's like swinging at the bird sideways.. my wrist is sore... this guy.. he's really good.. last year, he never really played with me, diane, lily or krissy.. i guess we weren't good enough for him..... but i think i am WAY better than last year.. i wonder how i played last year.. i got medals and a trophy.. but i don't think i played very well.. Johnson Heights is toooooo good.. they got the flag last year.. and their prob gonna get it again this year.. hmm but last year we didn't really have any serious practice.. there were only that many people... so Mr Nguyen just put all of us on the team... hmm.. i guess we played pretty well.. 2nd place...yeh we were pretty good.. oh yeh.. back to that.. yeh he wanted to play me!! We rallied.. then he's like "hm.. you're the only girl who... " then he mumbled something about my shots...holding the racket the right way helps... the bird does go farther...sooo tired.. I feel cold.... i felt warm just now... so weird.. this morning.. at first i felt really warm.. like i was sweating.. then after a while i felt cold...like chilly cold.. just now when i was eating dinner, i felt warm.. then after i felt cold.. somethings wrong.. Diane made all of us sick..again..

"2 years in Canada"

Today is a special day.. it's been exactly 2 years since we arrived in Canada.. I think Diane's making me sick.. weird feeling in my throat.. finally got off problem 5-4? 5-5? in the drafting workbook..Adam and I are like staring at this crazy shape and when we finally figure it out.. something screws up.. and Won's just.. making it harder..at lunch they were giving away free tickets to the Party Gras (last dance of the year)..People had to come up and sing...this guy sang Heya by Outkast.. awhh... so funny.. Diane and I could hear him down the hallway.. and I was like.. if someone's singing.. it ain't very good.. but it was hilarious.. at least someone sang.. he was the best out of all the other people.. so.. yeh..i was trying to figure out why my math didn't make sense at all.. the first 8 questions.. Doni and I were staring at the first one for so long.. and even after Mr Huzyk explained it.. we were like.. why? Stupid textbook.. x=1,y=3 looks like an equation.. but it's not.. finally figured it out.. psh now it's easy..
I'm gonna die.. i feel so weak.. didn't play very well today.. hmm actually.. all of us didn't play very well today.. Diane prob got more shots than i did.. hmmf.. coz Lily kept picking on her.. i could just sit and not have to do anything..

"William Hung? A record deal??"

I can't believe William Hung got a record deal.. for someone who's in Civil Engineering.. he's like the best of the worst.. yet the famous out of all of them.. was watching American Idol just now.. Uncut.. Uncensored..Untalented.. hilarious.. he has background dancers.. and they have shirts that have his face on it.. and they do that crazy move when he gets to the "She Bangs" part..

"worn out.. but i made it!!"

I made the team!!! Found out this morning.. There's Lily, Wanta, Ko Chien and me.. and some guys.. i think Jensen.. Cody.. Simon.. hmm and some other people...Still went in for practice today anyway.. We were waiting for open courts and finally got them.. Lily made me run from court to court and Mr Slade kept assigning the courts to people.. Rallied with Jensen, then Harry came.. He's soooo good...whenever Jensen smashes he shouts.. scary..that should be a foul... played 3 on 2? Lily, Diane and me against Jensen and Harry.. Harry's smash is so scary.. tho the only person he hit was Diane.. like a few hundred times..heheh..whenever we saw a smash coming.. everyone ran out of the court.. hilarious.. Jensen backed away.. Diane moved to the side.. or rather ran to the side and there was this empty space in the middle.. and then Harry taps the bird down..After that, played Peter and some grade 8, Bobby?? Jimmy?? phew.. must have played for 2 hours straight.. wait let's see..3...4:30... 5.. yeh 2 hours..don't know why i played so hard today... practice again tmr... hope Mr Slade does make us warm up.. hate those.. why do we have to warm up then when we aren't during try outs..
Oh yeh.. Happy Birthday to Mr Huzyk.. we were in block d... and Mr Devereaux just appears standing at the back of the class and he's like "QUIET".. and everyone stares up at him..then he starts singing Happy Birthday..Mr Huzyk's face was turning red..
