There's nothing to do, nothing to say. Everything's just moving... really slowly yet really fast.

French went by, Math went by, lunch came lunch went.. Well I guess one thing happened at lunch. Mr Nguyen got me to flick on all the TVs in school to channel 5 so that people could watch the Fashion Show clips. Pretty good~

Had our Socials Chapt 7 test and I guess I did better than what I expected. Lol 2 wrong? I don't even feel I'm learning anything in that course. I read through.. actually.. tried to read through the chapter last night but when I got not even near halfway, the words kinda just ran through my head. I looked at every single word but none of it was actually read. =S Well hey 23 outta 25.. lol..

Stayed back after school for a meeting. Mr Nguyen talked about what was gonna be on the next issue and stuff. Then assigned where we were gonna film next and who was gonna do each. So Josh is definately gonna be filming the grad. Jenny was originally supposed to go with him. But then I don't know what happened, she backed out and Nguyen asked if I could. So plan was that I go with Josh and coz he has to leave between 7 and 9 for something, I was to film while he's away. But then I have so many things to think about. Like what to wear and all that. And I was supposed to have my b-day sleepover and all that this weekend. =S My parents aren't too keen about me being downtown late either. Ai, I guess I'll tell Nguyen I can't. There's too much to think about and I think I'll spend my weekend with my friends and chill out. =) Now I gotta tell Mr Nguyen. Ugh..

Anyways, so I stayed on after with Lily and Eric to edit the clips. Or rather, tell Lily which parts are coming up since I know what's on the tape lol and watch her do it. Lmao we were watching the World Cup Soccer footage and it was sooooooo funny. I couldn't stop laughing. I forgot I had the part where the ball hits Sam SMACK in the head when he was blocking a penalty kick. Lmao.. that was tooooo funny. Lily copied out all the clips where people are either falling down or being slammed into walls or being hit. Hilarious. I kept laughing and Nguyen was wondering what I was laughing at that was so funny. Lol I'm so mean.. laughing at people falling. There was one bit where someone gets shoved into the wall and Lily kept moving the bar back and forth. XD I'm not the only mean one here! Ahh... *tear* XDDDD...So Lily ditches me and Eric and we had to copy something else into the laptop and I'd never done that before lmao.. I know how to operate the camera tho! =P..So Eric and I figured it out and watched the All Candidates Debate. We were talking about the Marijuana party and stuff and how Emery was just.. ridiculous. Eric was laughing too. Then Mr Nguyen told us that Mr Fabiano was actually at a court session. The Marijuana Party or Green Party or whatever is sueing Surrey schools for not allowing freedom of speech. *cough cough hack choke* Freedom of speech? Promoting marijuana? Giving out pamphlets on pot? Magazines on where weed can be purchased? How on earth could the Surrey school district not be in right of way. Like Esther said, it's like giving out a magazine on how to murder someone, something illegal.

Grrr... I lost all my links. Hmm now what.. I'm trying to find all the links to other people's blogs. I don't remember any of them =S. Frustrating. And I can't get the right code that I had before. This one doesn't match with the stylesheet.

So Huzyk says that we're doing all the problem solving now because he finds that it would confuse the main topic of the unit with the "additional" problem solving. But then... it DOES have to do with whatever unit we are or were doing tho. =S tsk tsk tsk

Rushed out this morning.. or actually.. around noon to go to Guildford Rec to register for some Pin and Client number so that my sister can attend summer camp. And since my mom was heading out I thought hm I could sign up for the my swipe pass. Stupid guy.. grrr.. I'm not even ready and he's like SMILE and I'm like =S.. lol.. WHAT is the rush?

Went for lunch after that. My parents left my sis and I at Mac Ds and went to the food court. So I'm in this really long line up and there's this lady with a baby stroller. Her husband is a couple feet away from her with another stroller. And she's like yelling at him. She kept going on and on and on. "I didn't come out so you can eat food!" "Come here!" "I don't like yelling at you across a store!" "Will you COME HERE so I don't have to seem like such a fool yelling at you?!" "Will you come here so we can talk" "Stop *beeeeeping* ignoring me" "You eat too much as it is! You need to go on a diet package!" So after a long long long time of cursing and nagging, her husband finally walks towards her and right away she's like "Ok what do you *bleeeeping* want fat pig" I was like whoa.... just.. whoa..

When we came back, we brought Pepper for a walk out in the SUN and headed to the water park to cool off. I was on my blades and on the way there, there was this huge butterfly fluttering towards me. I thought it would change directions and fly some place else. BUT I WAS WRONG! It flew STRAIGHT at me! And I screamed so loud! My mom couldn't stop lauging at me. She said if I freak out like that all the time because of butterflies, I'm gonna get hit by a car one day. lol. The water @ the park is FREEZING cold! It's too hot not to go in it. It's too cold to go in it. Joey was just soaked. Saw Dohoon, Tae Zun and them people there. Also, Sylvia, Sandy and them at Erma playing basketball. It's Sandy's bday today so they were chillin out at Erma. So I headed over to chill out with them too... haha..Edisson was feeding Sylvia's dog shrip crackers. And she can do this trick. Make her sit pretty and then BANG.. play dead. So cute~ Also vicious tho! I brought Pepper and her dog was like gonna eat Pepper up or something.

And that concludes my long boring weekend. Wow I haven't been to badminton on Saturday for 2 whole weeks. That's... amazing.. Lmao my sis got one of those step count meter things from some krispie square box and she's been walking and jogging around the house so the step count goes up. Hilarious. It's like she's training for a marathon cept.. indoors..=T Urg, I don't know what I did yesterday but all my links got deleted and I saved it and now it's all SCREWED UP!!! And it's so late right now. So many links to get back!

Muaha 72 outta 75 on my french test. Tee hee... At least I'm doing well in ONE subject. I've gotten good marks on all but math this week. Urg..Whyyyyyy?!?! Why is it our marks determine what we become in the future?!?!?! I was just talking to Jason about this yesterday too. I was supposed to memorize places on a map and everyone who had to do it too kept saying that they were memorizing the place and the number coz we had this sheet with corresponding numbers for the places on the map. And I was like how can you memorize it that way. It makes it so much harder. You're just gonna forget it after the test. So then are we not learning? Are we just lying our way through school? Just memorizing and then forgetting just so that one mark to fake how much we know?

Watched the finals for the World Cup Soccer tournament @ lunch. Brazil vs....... India? Afghanistan? lol ok well Todd's team vs Baldeep's team. Hmmm.. Soccer is so violent!! But the way they dribble the ball.. that's crazy. There's this guy on team Brazil and ok Diane and I both agree that he does not feel pain at all. He got hit in the head yesterday and he didn't even flinch. Today he got tripped and all that and he just.. doesn't react to it!! In the end Brazil won. They were losing by about 3 at first.

Science. Ugh it was soooo hot in that class. Devereaux was like, don't take advantage of this but if you want... you can step outside and take a walk in the halls or down the stairs for some fresh air. Lol *shuffling of chairs and stampede of footsteps*..Yesterday we were talking about Cancer Therapy and stuff. And D was like it's not a pretty process. And Johnny said something like.. Yeh you lose your hair. Lmao.. Kara and I were just like.. what?! So Chad and Kara were argueing over how people know that the planets and all were created by the Big Bang. And Chad tries to explain his point and Kara tells him that God created the earth and stuff. Chad bursts out laughing. lol.. Then we come to the thought of.. which came first.. the chicken or the egg.. And Roger says he thinks that the chicken came first. So I was like.. but then where did the chicken come from. And Kara was like.. From God and Chad just smiled and went back to his work. XDDDDD

Had to go to a meeting for the country fair thing. But they took so long to come and there was badminton in the gym so Diane and I headed over there. Played for like 15 minutes then went home and Diane came over. We chillaxed in the heat. So much for chillin. We didn't really do much actually. Hmm.. there was nothing to do! She wrote me a long msg on my whiteboard and made up a phrase for me to decode lmao.. Diane rox Jamie's sox. XDDD..Oh yeaaaa.. hehe..

This heat is making me schleepy. To sleep downstairs or not to sleep downstairs. Last night.. or rather this morning at 1, Pepper started barking. So my mom came down and let him out and I saw them go upstairs. A little while after, they come down and Pepper attacks me with slobbery tongue blech.. Maybe I'll sleep upstairs tonight. Bear with the heat. =P

[Summer]

Ugh.. it's sooOOooOooOOoOOOoOOooo hot outside. It's supposed to be 25 degrees out. But it feels like..whoa..Classrooms are so stuffy, the air outside is hot so there's no use opening windows.

Took my math test this morning. Ugh, I hate the way he makes tests. There are so few questions and they're worth SO much. Just one question wrong and it's like down by like 4%. Ugh..We did the test first block and he marked it at the beginning of second block. He called my name SO loud. I was like uh oh what did I do.. and he asked me one question. Well the question on the test was like "Is this biased or non-biased?" And I guess when I read the question I was like is it biased? Yes.. lmao so my answer was yes. And Mr H was like what do you mean by yes. Heh oops? Well I got that question right so HAH! Ugh but the mark in the end was the worst of all my tests. I've gotten this mark before. When he handed our tests back, I didn't even look at it. Came back and just had a look at what I got wrong. Then I realized.. the ones I didn't get, well they weren't careless. They were just.. I guess I just didn't get them. Only one was a careless mistake. So there's nothing I can do about it now. Just rip it up and start over. =T Huzyk thinks that everyone in our math class is supposed to be able to do all this math way easier than a lot of other math students in regular principles. Well yno what I didn't pick 10 honours. He did. People who got 80% and over last year were allowed into honours. I got 83% last year. Not that honours is any much different from principles. But he puts more pressure on us. Always saying stuff like "Well since you're an honours class, I would expect you to already know how to do this. You can think a lot faster...." blah blah blah. Anyhoo... next unit is logic and I think our test is... Next Tuesday? Something like that.

FHN meeting was called at lunch. Pfft not that many people showed up. They just needed to edit stuff and so Mr Nguyen sent me out to go film the soccer game. Haha what a day to film. So many people got hurt. Was watching Team Canada and .... Brazil I think? Goalie on Brazil's side gets kicked around the knee, someone gets hit in the face with the ball during a penalty shot, Matt collides into someone and reaaaaally hurts his ankle, leg whichever. He was like screaming in pain.

We did our RadioActivity unit exam today instead of tomorrow. Mr D wrote on the board "Bad news.. RadioActivity Exam today... Good news.. It's open book" XD Didn't do THAT much today. But RadioActivity is OVER and now we're on to the last unit. Eep Grade 10 is almost over. So fast... Feels like we just started and now it's over. We watched a movie about these bombs...? Fat Man & Little Boy? What a name...about these atomic bombs and stuff. I was gonna fall asleep in that class.

Played badminton after school. O man the gym was soooooo hot and stuffy. Slade said we had 45 minutes but I think he stayed longer than that. So I played with David, Waina, Diane and Adam. Ugh the heat drains out all your energy.

Mm well I guess I shall go do my MATH homework =S. Tmr's Friday again!

Today's auction and garage sale wasn't bad at all. Haha well.. I was so nervous but after I got it done with it was pretty easy. Basically read the description and people bid. Had people yelling out bids one after another. I couldn't catch ANY number! Takes my brain 5 counts to figure out one number and there are like 50 calls. =S lol

Watched soccer at lunch and had Matt kick the ball right at me. Hmm.. socials.. 25 outta 25 on my map test.. muaha!! Socials was pretty easy going. Not too much work and not nothing to do.

Went blading @ Erma and then got bored so I decided to head to Jr Douglas and bumped into Tanner who was on the way to Andrew's to pick up something. So I talked to him for a bit then headed home. Oo man sooooo hot out.. REALLY REALLY HOT.. Tmr's gonna be even warmer. Eck.. Let's see.. count down.. about 26 days left of school. But argh provincials after school ends.. WHYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!

Hehe my birthday's comin up. It's the day of the year end concert. Muahahaha! I love the last few weeks of school. So much to do =P

Mmm..sunny today. But I felt so cold this morning. I was thinking of what to wear and figured since it's gonna be a sunny day, ok wear something light. But then I was soooOOooo cold this morning. So I wore my black hoody and class was so warm and stuffy. We have our french presentations tmr =S. Have to auction out something and I couldn't think of anything creative at all. So I decided to sell.. no.. "sell" one of my drawings. Unless someone really does wanna buy my drawings. Like ahem.. Mctavish, who STILL has 3 of my pieces.. maybe even more.. Ah well.. get it over with.

They had World Cup Soccer at lunch so that was pretty much our lunch time taken. Socials.. just went by and o man I was gonna fall asleep. So Mr V gets us to open our textbooks to a certain page and he starts talking about all these facts that I can't even find on the page. And now I know why I never get what he's talking about. Coz he doesn't teach a specific thing all at once. He kinda.. chops everything up into lil pieces and jumps all over the place. One minute it's one topic, the next thing he's talking about something else. AND sometimes he says things word by word. Just short lil... yes you get it...

Science must have been the fastest block ever. Had a sub and she was pretty nice. At first I thought she was gonna be all mean and stuff. But she basically put the answers on the overhead for our workbook and handed out a couple sheets and that was it. Everyone was talking so loud and she didn't mind at all. AND she helped with the work so she did actually know her stuff.

Played badminton after school. Weren't many people there. Slade opened it til around 4-ish. Played with Peter and Sylvia first then singles with Sylvia. Ugh man.. I really can't play singles unless I push myself to the max. I prob got like 2 points outta 20. =P...And Jensen says he wants me to play singles next year? lol..I got til next season =P. Then played mix with Corey against Peter and Sylvia. Muahaha we won. Then David came and we played... hmm.. doubles/mix. Guys' doubles against mix doubles. Hehe I like to stand out. =P AND AND AND we won muahaha! Close games but goooooood.

So I had to rush home after "practice" for Jessy's presentation. Lol Diane msged me last week on msn and asked me to call coz Jessy wanted to talk to me about some job presentation. At first I thought she wanted to ask a couple of questions on the phone and that was it. But then I called and Jessy explains the whole deal to me and I'm STILL unsure of what it is. So I get my mom to talk to her and she books an appointment for Jessy to come over and stuff. So she came over today and I was like 3 minutes late. Walked into the cul de sac and there were 2 cars on my driveway. So I ran in and there were all these people. My sister's friends and moms and stuff. Lol the knives were prettttty impressive. XP. Jessy shows us this pair of scissors and cuts through a penny. She cut the queen's nose off!!! Then she showed us these other knives and let my mom try them out. Hehehe.. I like those knives. =P I was peeling a carrot and I made a KNIFE outta it. So it's a carrot knife. Hehe. That presentation took so long.. an hour and a half. Phew~!

[Badminton and Mac D's every Saturday and Sunday]

Badminton every weekend is like a ritual!! lol.. We got into youth at 3 and they didn't open the regular gym this time!! They did before. Rallied with Corey, Alex and Diane. Ugh my arm is so sore for some reason. Heheh but I was hitting pretty good hits today =P Jensen kept dropping, driving, clearing the bird down Diane's back hand and then they kept dropping it after. So annoying!! lol K so @ around 15 minutes before youth badminton ended, we decided to sign up for the waiting list on adult drop in. Then headed back to the gym to continue playing. Jensen and Corey went to the big gym to rally and we were watching. Then the guy at the counter comes in and darts straight at Corey and tells him to get off. Like whoa chill out! Did he kick Jensen off? No he kicks only Corey off. Psh. So then we went back to the small gym to rally. And he was like I told you guys to get off now you're off the waiting list. Geez! Youth wasn't even over yet!

So then we left for Mac D's. Mmm good stuff haha..Diane was telling racist jokes.. XD Omg Jensen refilled his drink like 3 times. That's a LOT of fruitopia. Alex was trying to compete with him. But Jensen poured like half of his into Diane's cup. Lol and at one point, him and Alex went to another table to lie down and their fries were on the table. So Alex goes to refill his drink and Jensen moves back to our table. So Alex's fries are still there and the manager dude comes by and clears the table and throws it away! Next thing, he's lying there with his drink and I'm like he's gonna lose his drink soon. Corey told this one joke:

So there's a guy and he's got a pet monkey and they go into a bar. The monkey hops onto the table and eats all the snacks and peanuts and all that. Then he climbs onto the pool table and eats a cue [?] ball. The manager gets mad and so the owners like oh I'll pay for whatever he eats. The next day, they go back to the bar and the monkey climbs onto the table and sticks the peanut up his ass before he eats it. The manager's like wth?! And the guy's like, well you see after the cue ball incident, he now has to test the size of everything before he eats it. XD

That took Diane a while to get it. She just couldn't understand it. XDDDD.. Ah.. what else did we do..Diane was drinking the fruitopia that Jensen poured into her cup and Jensen was like, what are you doing?!?!? I put a buncha stuff in that! Why did you think I poured it into your cup?! I wasn't gonna drink that stuff! You're sick! XDD and Diane was like what?!? And she looks at me and I knod lmao..

So we were talking about what music Corey listens to and he kept talking about 'Guns and Roses' and Diane asked him to go play it on the juke box. So him and Jensen go over there to pick out the songs and a few minutes later we hear... Shania Twain playing..lmao all of us were like.. ok Corey..just.. just no.. lol..hilarious, he pushed the wrong buttons. Hogen, Sandy, Rachel and them people came. Think they went for movies. But then we left just as they came.

After that we headed back to the rec to watch people play. And omg, that guy at the reception. Jeez he just doesn't give up does he. We were standing by the window watching and he's like You guys don't put any finger prints on the glass coz we have to clean it. Grrrr he makes me mad.. Then he started lecturing us about how we weren't supposed to be playing. Ok youth wasn't over yet! Then he stopped and I figured, ok he's done talking and then he continues and goes hey you guys look at me when I talk. Grrrr..

Ah Victoria Day tmr, no school. But got so much homework ahhhhhhhh!!!

Went to watch Star Wars today with Brandon. I got up at 10:30 ish which left me an hour to wash up, have breakfast, laze around, and get ready. lol..That's not enough lazing around! Then my dad asks if I wanted to buy tickets online and so he booked them online. Didn't really see the difference coz he had to go there and swipe his card anyway. So my parents dropped us off at the theatre and left for Richmond. I've never seen the theatre that packed before. Maybe coz I don't usually watch movies when they just come out. Couldn't get any seats in the middle so we sat in front. Brandon bought a bucket of popcorn and told me that it's all mine coz he doesn't like popcorn. lol I was like what?! And he got addicted to his Jolly Rancher Rocks candy. Such a small tube but so filled with candy XDDD. By the end of the movie, my neck was sore hehe. 2 and a half hours of sitting. It was pretty good. So sad~ Anakin turns evil and the jedi are wiped out and the only reason he did that was to help Padmé and she dies anyway. Aiii stupid stupid stupid! lol..This episode reveals the Chancellor being Darth Sidious. I knew it! But then I wasn't sure if he was.. then BAM! XD

So after that we had an hour or so to spare so we decided to drop Troy a visit. Bumped into Chantal, Bruce and Priscilla. I've never ever met Priscilla and she's never met me but somehow we're good friends over msn. Lol all started with her thinking I was some other Jamie and after that chat, she just kept msging me. After that 20-30 minute walk, we find that he isn't home. Headed back to Guildford and bumped into Alex and Adam. They were heading to the rec for badminton. Wonder who went today. Prob a lotta people like last week. Last week seemed like so far away!! Wasn't it just last week that I played badminton with Jess? And went to the movies? Yes it was.. feels like so long ago.

When we came back, we brought Pepper for a walk out in the rain. lol..Jo got him a shirt and a bear that has the words "Hug me" on it. But Pepper didn't exactly hug'im. He kinda... bit one of his ears off. So then we head out to Erma to try out Joey's boomerang. I managed to catch it 2wice!! Muahahaha~ First we were throwing it around the school. And it kept hitting the walls. I almost got it stuck on the roof. Then Brandon threw it and it seemed like it landed on the portables. So he climbed up on top of it and then we found out that.. hehe.. it was on the ground in front of me.. =P oops? My mom drove by the school coz she was wondering if we were stuck somewhere out in the rain lol. She told us to go to the field behind and we let Pepper off the leash. He was about the rip his leash apart coz he wanted to chase the boomerang so badly. Did quite a bit of running out there lol. Throw boomerang, run after it, watch it land, then run after it so that Pepper doesn't get to it first. They had the water park open. Psh..it's so cold out and they have the water on. So that was my exercise for today =P. It's gonna rain for the rest of the weekend =(..

Came back home and I played with Joey's hummer. Then Brandon chased Pepper around with it. Jo brought her toys down to put in the back lol and they got one heck of a ride. And Brandon tried to run them over. XD Then they started restling and she was laughing so hard. I was lying on the chair and he pulled me off and threw me on her! @ 7 we drove him home. His house is biiiiig. He's got a huge yard. Puuurrtty cool. Today was fun~

Wonder if I should play badminton tmr.. Diane wants to go watch Unleashed and House of Wax and then badminton then like last week, truth or dare at Mac Ds. And we don't have school on Monday so.. Hummmmmm

The weather was crazy today. It was supposed to storm out but.. well.. I guess you could say it was a "storm".. A mixture of sun, rain, clouds, wind, more clouds, more sun, more rain, hail and more sun. Crazy weather.

Lol, Jon blew up a balloon, drew a face on it and pasted it on the corner of the ceiling and it had a speech bubble next to it saying "Don't do drugs" and they changed the pic to Michael Jackson. Now, it's Bush. XD I should take a picture. =P

After school, Diane and Krissy came over and we chillaxed =P.. Filled up on pop and pizza minis then headed to Erma to walk the track and talk. Saw Evan and Doug playing basketball and then went to the track. Edwin was playing soccer with this other guy.. I think his name is.. Baldeep? Something like that.. and we sat on the bench for a bit. Hehe the water park was open and Diane dared me to blade through the sprinklers. We got sooooooo wet.. Why do they open the water park when it's cool out?! Then we headed back to the park and sat on the swings. It was a fun friday =P even tho we didn't exactly do much. So then we came back to my place and I flipped the wheels on my blades. Now it's all wobbly. My dad asked me if I wanted new wheels for 40-60 bucks or a new pair of blades for 99 bucks. Hehehe...

[Fraser Heights 5th Annual Fashion Show]

Got a free ticket to the fashion show yesterday. Muahahah~ Well Mr Nguyen came to look for me in socials and said that he had a ticket coz he wasn't able to go and asked if I wanted it. It was pretty good. I took soooo many pictures.. my camera was so hot and the first battery was worn out. Pep squad did their dance again. They do the same thing all year round. They had a total of 47 models and Champers did all their hair and this other place did their make up. So cute, there were lil kids too!! This boy prob 8 or 9 years old, he had his hair in a mohawk and it was streaked blue and orange. And and and there was this lil girl, 3 years old. I swear she looked like Boo from Monsters'Inc cept with blonde hair. But if she had dark hair, she would look exactly the same. She was even wearing a pink dress. Cutest thing ever. So some of the students modelled their own work or someone else's work and the rest modelled stuff from stores that were happy to loan out some of their clothes. At the end, they had a couple prom dresses and tuxedos. They played sad music =(.. 3 years! And it'll be us!! So that was my night yesterday. Funnnnn.. if only there were more events like that. Next up would prob be the Grad in which Josh and I would prob do for FHN. Eep. But it's like.. Saturday night til around 4 in the morning. Hopefully I can go. Followed by....Year-end concert.. or was it the athletics banquet..THEN Country Fair. Can't wait. =D

Star Wars is out today!! Prob really packed out today. I was listening to the radio this morning and there was this guy who said that a lot of people call in sick just so they can take the day off to go see Star Wars. So he made it a holiday and everyone including him would go watch it and they've done so for Ep 1 and 2.

Today was the student vote. It was..... interesting...> > So I head downstairs with Nafeesa and Caroline and there are a buncha tables in alphabetical order. I show the guy my go-card and he gives me this slip of paper. Then I found out that we were supposed to get 2 slips, one which is the.. referendum? And the other is to elect whichever person from whichever party. So I go back to the guy and tell him that he didn't give me the other slip and he points down the caf to where the voting boxes are and says to put it in there. I'm thinking [ok.. I'm not stupid. I know where to put it. You just didn't give me the sheet to put in there] Aiiiiii~ Had a sub for socials and the class went by amazingly fast. Man Van Vugt really makes it go so much slower. Ugh, tmr's the real election and I have to watch it. > < Then we have a quiz on who was elected and all that stuff on Weds.

Amazing that we actually got 2 issues of the FHN up. What progress.. lmao..We started at the same time LAST YEAR and we only have 2 out. Well today's was better than the first. Bad thing is that not all teachers show it to their classes. Whyyyyy!?!?!? I was suprised that Huzyk let us watch the whole thing. It was like 20 minutes long. Covered the student election, Valentines' Day, Library Paint-in, Talent Show, Senior Foods' Class, Hockey, Senior Badminton. Next issue will prob be the last dance, Jr Badminton, Grade 8 Badminton, B.C Election, Grad 2005...

So after a LOT of planning, we finally agreed upon going to watch Kingdom of Heaven. Went with Jensen, Corey, Sylvia, Krissy, and Diane. Decided to meet at the rec center to sign up for badminton coz a lotta people were gonna go.

Mm we got 3 large bags of popcorn between all of us. Refilled it soooo many times! Jensen put ketchup seasoning in his. Ugh seasoning tastes bad on popcorn. Just plain butter. Mmm that's good stuff. Kingdom of Heaven was kind of a disappointment. Sylvia kept asking me what's going on and I'm like.. I'm lost! I shall read up on it later =P..We were gonna see xxx after but Kingdom of Heaven was RIGHT next to the counter. Went into so many different movies but none of them were on!! So we just sat and talked for a bit to kill some time off. XD Diane was throwing popcorn in the air. She was like watch this watch this!! And tries to throw it in her mouth cept her throw was completely inaccurate. Then Jensen dumped the leftover bits of popcorn all over Diane. That was QUITE a bit of popcorn. She had it all in her hair and in her hood. We hung around the end of the theatre and Sylvia was telling us how she lived in England before and had an accent. Lmao then we were getting her to say stuff with the accent. Hmmm then we headed to Pearl Fever and then back to the rec centre.

I haven't touched my racket in.... 8 days!!! 8!!! That's just unacceptable. So many people came. It used to be deserted before. Jessica came with her mix partner. Alex couldn't make it! [Next week Alex!! Fo Sho!]. They opened earlier today so a lotta people were already in. Lily and Alex [the other Alex] were there rallying already. So, I finally got to play Jess in singles and got.. gasp.. 8 points! Ah hah! Everyone else who's played her never made it over 3 points! And I got 8! AND.. AND actually tied the score 8-8 then she beat me 11-8. That stupid guy from the reception loosens the nets whenever he wants us out now. So mean.. ugh..Now, for family drop in on Sundays, you HAVE to sign up again. So that's like.. 4.90$ every Sunday! Wow I do spend a lot on badminton over the weekends eh..Played 3 on 3 with Lily, Jess, Jensen, Alex and Diane. It was.. interesting. Took turns standing up front @ the net and have someone smash at you O_O.. Lol Jessica hit Jensen.. or almost did right by his right ear. Whizzzzzz~..

Went to Pearl Fever AGAIN. Comfy seats~ The whole buncha people, Sylvia, Peter, Adam and them went to Mac Ds. Lol Jensen said that they usually play truth or dare. So we decided to join them. So the buncha us were playing truth or dare, Me, Diane, Krissy, Diane, Ke-li, Jensen and Alex. Lol Alex had to go into the Mac Ds playplace, stand on the table and beat his fists on his chest. lmao.. There was this guy sitting by the play place watching. He didn't seem too pleased. Jensen dared Ke-li to put his arm around Sylvia and he wouldn't do it. I put a buncha stuff in the last bit of my chocolate sundae for Alex to eat. Hehehe, melted ice cream, fudge, ketchup with pepper, powerade. Lol he was like OH GOD UGH. But he ate it muahahaha. Then I dared Jensen to eat it and he was so grossed out so Ke-li did it. Lily mixed something even worse. Chicken sauce, ketchup, pepper. It was gross. Looked like puke. Eck!!! It was so nasty. Jensen had to eat it. After he did, he threw the spoon on the ground and ran outside. lol.. blechhhh. Hmm then Krissy was dared to go in to the playplace and french Ronald Macdonald. XP.. She was kinda hesitant. Then Sandy runs in and goes, LIKE THIS and puts her hands on "his" face and looks as if she were making out with him. lmao.. Then Alex sits on his lap and.. ok.. yeh.. lmao. Took a couple pictures. Hm, Lily, Diane and I were supposed to do dares. But the ones they gave us weren't... just.. not good. Ke-li told me to go to the counter and order everything or lick the trays and everything on the trays clean. Come on.. seriously you think I'd do that?!?! And the other one was to go out on the street and yell "Who wants to do me" 5 times. And believe me it was worse before, that's the censored version XD. Sylvia and Rachel went out by the street to do it. That's pretty much I guess.

Diane's mom came to pick us up and we came back to her place for SPAGHETTI. mmm =P...Good stuff. Her homestay is so funny. He's cute-funny. Lol when he talks and the things he says. I couldn't stop laughing. He looked at me and was like "You look like a.... korean ghost" I was like.. well then.. that's nice of you. XD Then he was like "A lot of korean ghosts are pretty" And I was like ohh lmao..He looks at me and goes "Your name is... Jamie?" And then looks @ Lily and asks her what her name is and she goes "Michelle" and all of us start laughing and he's so puzzled like "Why are you all smiling" lol..Then Diane asked him to show us this magic trick. So we were sitting on the ground and he does this trick which he takes FOREVER to do coz he keeps pausing and... he'll just sit there and think. XD I said omg after one of the things he said and he paused and was like "Can I ask you a question... Who is your god?" I'm like.. I don't have one. And then he goes "Then why do you say oh my god" lol I'm like... My god's right here *points to heart* XDDD And after, when he said omg he pointed at me and said it. He paused again and said he liked my socks. Lol I'm like.. why thanks? Well it took him half an hour to do the trick and it was wrong. The card he picked wasn't my card lol. He was like WHAT?!? I'm like.. that's not my card? Lol he was like are you sure are you sure are you sure are you sure?!?!!? He did the trick on Krissy and it worked and by that time I knew how he did it and I said I sorta knew and he was like "Don't tell ok?!?! Don't tell!!" And he like rushes towards me. I scream.. SO loud. That freaked me out. I shrieked. REALLY loud. lol.

So then we headed upstairs and watched some Anime while I chatted to peeps on msn. =P.. I've been blogging for the longest time ever. Ugh it's so late. We're supposed to be pulling an all nighter. Don't think I'll make it!! Gotta finish all my homework tmr!!!

[Gallery Viewing]

Just as I was thinking of seeing Mctavish about my work, she calls me up on the announcements to see her after school. Aii.. lol.. Found out yesterday that the gallery viewing was in the evening! Alice said she could gimme a ride so I went to her place at 6:10ish. Lol my dinner was... hmm.. a granola bar and milk. =P..So we're driving and driving and driving and o man it's so far away. I was gonna fall asleep. Then Alice's mom drove into Semiahmoo Secondary and I was like, we're supposed to go to the mall. And her mom was all like I don't know how to get there! So we had to stop by Shoppers Drug Mart to ask for directions. I got me some Ferrero Roche. Mmmm good stuff.

The "gallery" wasn't much. I think it's prob less than last year. Why is it they have all these galleries in malls. Why can't they have a real gallery. So it was basically the same thing... go look for your art, take pictures, meet people, watch people admire your art haha teeheee.. And again, the artist's statement, I never got a chance to write it. Mctavish wrote it for me. And instead of cheese and crackers, they had cookies this year. That's about it. Boring.. I just can't wait to get my art back. Now Mctavish says I can only get it back on June 20th. That's the last day of school!!!! Evilness...She has 3 of my pieces, maybe even more!! She's plotting to steal them from me, I just know it!

Hmm I blogged about yesterday but I didn't blog about today! Gasp! Hm well Socials was the usual. Have to fill in the map of B.C ewww.. lol I looked at all the numbers and points on the map and I was like, o dear god. At lunch I went to the Meet an Expert session in the library. Hairdressers. Hmm I guess that's another choice. I got so many choices!! Animator, Artist [prob just on and off, in between work], Visual Merchandiser, Fashion Designer which would sort of include hair stylist, make up, art. =P..It was quite boring actually, listening to those people talk. 4 of them came and all they did was talk talk talk talk. No props, no slides, no cards. Just.. stood there and talked and answered questions in which not a lotta people had.

French was pretty interesting. Mme Monk had to do something in the school so we had this sub. We had her for Mme K before. She's pretty nice. Hmm we did more grammar.. and worksheets and played games. I didn't get it at first. =S My brain just didn't want to understand it. I was so lost!!! Then I got her to explain it to me and I got it after =).. But when she read out sentences and questions for us to change, I was like AHHHHHH.

Jethro threw a pop bottle at me when I was walking home O_O!! Evil! He was walking with Cam, Evan and Selena and I said hi to Selena when I passed her and Jethro was busy talking to Cam so I didn't say anything and he threw the bottle at me! And he was like "How dare you walk pass me and not say hi!?!?!" I was like " How DARE you throw pop bottles at me!" lol.. XDDDDD

Went blading before dinner and man it's like snowing outside. So much pollen and fluffy stuff in the air. Kept getting in my face!! And when I went to Jr Douglas where there was no pollen, I got bugs and flies instead. Phhbbltph!! Eck!

Now that badminton season's over, there isn't any practice after school, no badminton to go to. I come home from school and sit at my desk and don't even feel like turning the computer on. That's just not right! Well the good news is that Slade said that we could get court time next week. Muahahaha~!

Went out blading a while ago. Breathe some fresh air and work my legs. Yep, that's what I live for. =P Now I got my blood flow going, I can take my shower and finish my homework and then maybe get down to some drawing which I haven't done in SOOOOOO long!!

One strange thing today, is that I felt like doing math. O_O.. That's crazy.. I actually finished my math homework too. This is just too much lol..

[Fraser Valleys 2005: Showdown]

Got up this morning at exactly 7:05am. lol.. I was thinking hmm ok I can sleep another 15 minutes.. But nooooOOoo I had to be in school at 7:30. All of us met in school and left for HD Stafford. Fraser Valleys!! Ahhhh ... it was... intense? Nah it wasn't as intense as the Surreys. Wow.. 2 weeks and it's all over. I don't remember our badminton seasons ending this fast. They usually stretch on over a long period of time. Mmmmm.. The only tournaments I remember last year were the Lower Frasers in Elgin and again Frasers in Elgin. Those 2 were fun. Well we met a lot more people this year. Last year we were buddies with just Johnston Heights and this year we made friends with Fraser Valley Christian.

Today, our first match in mix for me and Jensen. O man.. He wouldn't talk so I thought he was upset at something. Then he told me he wasn't mad and it was just that he thinks that if you talk, you go unfocused so that's why he was all silent. =T lol... We won the first game. Not tooooo well but we won. Second game was meh.. We had to deal with a crappy sloped net and bad lighting. That game was better. And then DUN DUN DUN MAPLE RIDGE.. Played this pair from Maple Ridge, not Matt and Midori. This asian dude and REALLY tall white girl. Man she's REALLY REALLY REALLY tall. So many advantages to be tall yet so many disadvantages. =P... That was one TOUGH TOUGH TOUGH match. But we worked it out and beat them. Tough match. Jensen and I have had tough matches but this one was CRAZY tough. Way tougher than Ke-li and Lily..I thought our toughest competition this year was gonna be Ke-li and Lily. Well they're second now. lol.. We beat them in the first game.. That was.. wow.. then they beat us.. and then BAM we beat'em. Muahahaha victory!! That felt good. That felt REALLY good. We beat Maple Ridge!!!! I don't remember ANY of the scores today. Ugh. Well we beat them after a hard played set of games =).. I was sweating like a---.. ok I won't go there. =P.. haha.. We played winner of another match Fraser Heights: Lily and Ke-li vs Maple Ridge: Matt and Midori. Thank GOD we didn't play Matt and Midori first. Hmm but then maybe we would have had more energy at that time. I know I was drained of my energy. The gym was sooooo fricken hot and stuffy. Well.. we lost because I just couldn't get my shots right. We were supposed to work mainly push shots. Dayumn why is it they get a full year training. And we worked on these shots only yesterday. Why is it people don't give all the advice throughout the year. =S.. anyways.. 2nd place in mix.. So that's really really good. I was sooo worn out by then and I still had doubles to play. Played Dana and Stephanie from JH. This is the 3rd time we had to play them. It was really scary the first time. We had to play in the small gym and it was sooOOoo much cooler in there. But they had these vents that just BLEW the bird off. Urg..That was a badly played game. lol WHATTA DISGRACE.. tsk tsk tsk. Lily and I made it all the way to semi finals and then we had to play.. Aii Maple Ridge...It's so funny the way this tournament works. It's like first all the surrey people playing. Then Lower Frasers with one side of Coquitlam, Port Moody teams. And JH, FH and FVC are so close and we'd cheer on all the players in these schools and Maple Ridge or Upper Fraser teams are like our ENEMY. XD When Jessica from FVC played her singles against Midori and lost, a bunch of us ran up to her and crowded around her to make Midori feel bad. Lmao.. And when Jessica scored a point, we'd scream. But then we were told not to scream coz Jessica doesn't like it. And when Jess won, everyone cheered and ran up to her. That was great. That was a TIGHT game. It was 10:10.. so they set it to 3 points in which Midori got 2 and Jess 3. Man how much closer could you possibly get! Well Jess won so that was good. Hmm Simon and Brad made it to finals but lost. So they placed 2nd for boys' doubles. That was good. Dayumn, Lily and I placed 3rd in girls' doubles. All coz of those last 2 shots that I missed at the end. =S....Gosh darn it. Well.. 3rd place in Fraser Valleys. That's good. Alex and Jessica didn't even make it to semi finals. They were SO VERY close tho. They ended up playing Sylvia and Diane tho. Their game was FUN! When Lily and I play them, it's so intense that no one smiles or jokes around. Dead game. We're supposed to laugh and have fun. Not be all serious the whole time. *shakes head* Ah.. today was good in a way I guess. We had our laughs and frowns. Jensen got beaten in singles today too. That was a suprise. This crazy guy. I could have sworn he was from Port Moody but Harry insists that he wasn't. Maybe Maple Ridge. But I SWEAR his shirt said Port Moody on it. He had to play Simon in singles after and he was using his left hand! LEFT he was SMASHING with his left and won rallies with it. lol. it was interesting.

The ride back to school was interesting. Lol Sylvia and Diane kept arguing. Then Diane started singing and Mr Slade was like Uh oh.. XDDDDD It was funnnn.. Aw man, badminton season's over. That means back to the same old same old days. Wake up in the morning, go to school, come back from school, homework, msn, sleep.

Well I came home with a headache and nosebleed. I don't think that's a very good sign =P.. Ahh.. My slideshow for badminton is almost complete =)

Oh boy... Tmr... H.D. Standford, Langley.. Fraser Valleys.. It all comes down to this. This ONE day...So who are this year's Fraser Valley Champions? I guess we'll have to find out. =S So much pressure. Today's practice wasn't too good either. I'm SORRY I can't play as well as I did last week! Well I kept missing shots and making crappy shots so Jensen got a lil upset with I guess both himself as well as myself. =S.. Aiii.. Sleep early.. drink lotsa water... We'll be champions tmr.. Everyone's telling me they expect a gold trophy tmr.

Ah rushed day. Had to finish writing up my french presentation coz I wasn't here all of yesterday and last night I was just so tired I couldn't concentrate. So in socials this morning, I was working on French. Then Mr Van Vugt calls my name to answer a question and I kinda mumbled the answer out and he couldn't hear me. And he had to step in closer coz he couldn't hear me. =S.. lol.. I wasn't too sure of my answer either. =S..

So I finished it at lunch and tried to do up a Q-card but then figured out that we can have it on sheets. Pft.. It was ... hmm interesting. Sapphire and Andrew had to do theirs first. Their's was prob the best outta all. Maybe equals out with Raman and Janette's. Those 2 were good. Lol me and Toneza... =P.. Our's sucked so bad!! She said Boo instead of Bon. I was like.. ahem.. and I think we messed up our lines. =SSS Anyways..

Practice today was meh.. I shouldn't have come. There's no point in practicing.. or rather "practicing" when your body's all worn out and tired and you just can't perform as well. I've never felt this tired in ages. =S..Wonder if I should play tmr. >< Fraser Valley's on Friday..Ohhh boy.. one more day and then badminton season is OVER..

[One HECK of a day]

First of all.. Happy Birthday Lily!!!!

Had to be in school today at 7:45 to head off to the Lower Frasers @ Semiahmoo Secondary. Got to rally a bit in the gym and then left pretty soon after. Loooooooong drive mahn.. We were there early and got us courts to warm up on. Started with Mix first, then singles, then doubles. Ooo man Jensen and I played mix.. first game..We won.. but it was a pretty slow game. Could have won it faster. Ugh..Second game was against Patrick and Rajan and OOOO man they beat us one game and Jensen got so pissed. I was scared.. Then Slade told him to cool down coz we were REALLY tense. And it got better so...We played Brad and Stella AGAIN and Slade was telling us to give Stella a couple practice shots for smashing. And I was like.. are you kidding me? I mean.. How on earth do you expect us to let our "enemy" PRACTICE.. lol.. Well we beat them and Brad wasn't too happy about that. Lol.. Then we had to play Ke-li and Lily.. again for 1st and 2nd... Jensen and Jamie.. FIRST.. Ke-li and Lily SECOND.. muahahha..And Jensen got gold in singles too so.. Both gold..Hmm what else. Doubles was harder. I keep telling myself and Lily to focus. But like.. I focus and try to get my shots going. But then when I screw up, my head gets messed and then I become UNfocused. We won... then got up to semi finals where we played these girls from.....from... H.Wood? Blah whatever school they were from. They were all happy and stuff and that just annoyed me so much. They won their first game. And were over joyed. We beat them the second game and they were meh.. then we beat them the third game. I thought we were gonna lose that one! But no.. muaha.. Then it all came down to finals with who else.. FVC Jessica and Alex. O man that was the game of the day. It was INTENSIFYING!! The first game.. WE WON!! like.. 15:9? SOMEthing like that..It was a great feeling. Everyone in the bleachers were like yelling, clapping and stomping.. GLORY!! lol.. Then they beat us.. =(.. 15:13 or so.. Then Slade gave us another talk and was like you beat them once, you can do it again. He's always underestimating us. When Diane and Sylvia got 3rd in the surrey's he was like O really? I'm actually suprised you got 3rd. Pshh and when Sylvia got 3rd in singles today. He was like.. wow I'm suprised you got 3rd with that busted ankle. Coz Sylvia roller her ankle today and was limping. She's got bruises and welts all down her right leg from hitting herself. I swear she abuses herself! Lol..Well in the end they beat us 15:13 I think? 15:12? Then 15:10.. I'm so tired.. A lil disappointed coz I made so many mistakes. Ahhh sports.. Builds you up by throwing you down first. Anyways. I'm soooooo tired.. so worn out.. All of the people I've talked to tonight, Harry, David, Jensen have told me that we're gonna train these next 2 days. I'm SOOOO worn out. Been playing so hard this past week. Now I know how hard Jensen plays and why it's so easy for him to go to bed at like 7 every night. And I have a french presentation to write up right now and memorize by last block tomorrow. I got Alex's and Jessica's emails. Lol Slade was like.. "Don't get their autographs!?!" when I handed them a piece of paper and a pen. lol..Anyways.. lotsa work to do..

At lunch today, Barry Bell,Dave Hayer and Marc Emery came to FH to do a debate on the upcoming elections. Lol Marijuana Party. PSH.. So.. this is supposed to be our.. Future? Smoking pot? Marc's like this awesome public speaker and all but COME ON.. He wants to make pot legal? So that people at the age of 16 can legally purchase marijuana. That's just ridiculous. He was last to give his opening statement and when he did he was like "What you've heard from these 2 people are all about old people. Yeh it's ALL about the old people. Well yno what?! They don't care about you young people! All they care about is the hospitals and homes for OLD people and the OLD people don't like you YOUNG people!" And it was all repetition from then on. He just went on and on and on and every question that was asked he just kept talking about how people did pot and how our teachers probably do pot and they can't tell us or else they'd be fired. Lmao.. and then he was like. "I hate the educational system! I think that it should be 3 hours a day for school. But private tutoring so that students get more attention and learn better. And anything after that, should be supervised extra curricular for about 2 hours or so. Then the rest of the day is as per normal." Lol.. one question.. where's the government gonna GET the money?!?! So then was he saying that the government actually DOES have the money? Did he reveal something? Or was he just being stupid and not really thinking about the whole deal. Lol he has a slurrrr when he speaks too. Dave Hayer.. He was basically agreeing with how everything is right now. "O I like the educational system. I have 4 children, one in SFU, one in UBC. I think it's very good." yadda yadda yadda. He just kept going on and on. "I want to thank the students and the teachers for putting this together".. Barry Bell.. he was so quiet. Took him a while to think about what he was gonna say. In their opening speeches, none of them talked about how they'd help the environment. Lol and someone in the audience brought it up. The pothead.. XD he was talking about.. cannibis? Or whatever plant and how it's got all the vitamins and minerals and it's way better than chickens with avian flu or mad cows or fish with paricides and tumors. It was amusing.

After school, we had practice and I was playing FINE when we were rallying, me, Lily, diane and Sylvia. GASP She was standing my the net and I smashed it SO hard and it hit her ear and she was like "Hooo!! That hurt!!! Whoa.. I'm deaf!! I'm deaf!!" lmao and she was wobbling as if she was out of balance. It was sooooo funny I couldn't stop laughing.. Meep.. there so much more to write but it's soooo late and I gotta get some sleep or else I won't be focused tmr!! So excited! But so nervous too!! Lower Frasers here we come!

[Amityville Horror]

Went out this morning at 9 to go to badminton. Finally one week that it's actually open and we have our rackets and I'm not sick and yeh. Played with Diane for a bit. Then Binh and Patrick wanted to play mix. Eh heh.. lol.. it was interesting..I think Pat and I won.. I think... lol.. Then Diane and I played with my mom and Aunty Kheng Lee... mmm Half the gym was closed at 10:30 and we were told to get out and sign in for the next session. It was so stupid. They never did that before. Jeezzz!! The lady at the counter asks Pat's uncle who he's signing up and he's got all these lil kids with him. And Jensen's like "WHAT all THESE lil people?!?!" and the lady's like "It's FAMILY! For LITTLE people!" XDD Those people at the rec centre are always so grumpy. I walked to the counter to look at the sign up sheet and just as I reach out to flip it around, she grabs it from me and sorta snatches it away. Like WHOA chill-out!

Well it was full, so we decided to go grab bubble tea. Pat and Binh came with us. Walked over to Pearl Fever and found that it wasn't open. So we stood outside for a while and the lady came and turned the lights on. Just as she was walking towards the door, Jensen was like "ok let's go.. Let's just walk away. That's what happens when you open a minute late!" lmao.. so mean. Alex and Jensen went back anyway. Went to Mac Ds for lunch and got me a burger =P mmmm so badddd.. hehehe.. We split after lunch. Binh and Pat had to leave and Lily's dad came to pick her up.

Went to Guildford, to Sportchek to check out badminton stuff. Jensen got some grips and we headed to the theatre. On our way there, Ke-li runs at us from behind and it was.... strange. It was like he knew where we were =SSS..We were deciding what to watch and agreed upon Amityville Horror. Man o man o man. Even DIANE was scared of watching that movie. She had her racket in her face the whole time. I was slouched down in my seat as usual. I had my hood up and plugged my ears throughout the entire movie. >< lol.. Jensen was so funny. He was crouched down with his hands on his face XDDD He said that he was wearing his "glasses" so he fears nothing..XDD Ke-li was just sitting there like it was no big deal and Alex.. psh he was SLEEPING.. lmao there was one part where the ghost, the lil girl. She takes the babysitters finger and pokes it into the bullet hole in her head and it was sooooo nasty. Diane said that Ke-li was poking her head. lmao.. and he was poking Jensen's head too and he was like "what the hell are you doing!?!" omg that movie was scary. No wonder it's rated 18A.. Psycho people.. jeezus.. stupid house. lol I'm gonna go research on it and see if it really is based on a true story.

After that we went to Pearl Fever again and then back to the rec centre. Got into youth badminton and rallied a bit with Diane. Then that JH studen coach dude. Buros? Ben? Whatever his name is..asked me to play singles with Rajan. He knows my name now. So many people seem to know me now. So I played singles with Rajan.. 11:3.. Mmm Ashish was like.. I hate you.. =P.. Then I played mix with David, Ashish and Rajan. DUN DUN DUN.. It was awesome. I hit Ashish in the face. Lol he wasn't ready and David served it and he hit it back and I drived it straight at him. XDD =PPPPPPP...In the second game, Ashish was like [whispers] "Don't hit it to the girl!! Hit it to the weaker player!!" lmao..That was a good game. I think it was 17:14. Went up 3. Muahahhah I've been on a roll these past few days. While David went to get a drink, I rallied with Ashish and Jensen asked him to smash it at me. And I caught all of them! Cept the ones that he smashed down my side. Mmm after that, I played mix again with the Ben dude, Hogen and Rajan. Hogen and Ben kept dissing each other! It was just.. lol blahhh..My shots these past few days have been like POW POW POW.. and my reflexes are like cat like reflexes.. Ahh I feel so great. Muahahahhaa I don't wanna lose this POWER!! My arms kinda sore.. =S..But it feels good to be able to hit so hard and smash and ahhh ^^.. Unfortunately I had to leave at 4:45 so I couldn't stay for the rest of the game.
