Happy Birthday to both Wanta and Jeff. Well Jeff's birthday was a couple days ago but his birthday party's today. [Again, I'm sorry Jeff!! Couldn't make it to your Toga party. Hope you had fun tho!] This morning, we came into SS and on the board in BIG letters "HAPPY BIRTHDAY WANTA <3 D". Diane sits there and goes... "It was all me Wanta.. it was all me." Mr Pocock came in with a muffin from the cafeteria with a candle in it for her too. That was so sweet. Lmao... she sat there...lit the candle......closed her eyes... made a wish.. then blew it out. I turned one of my photographs into a card and wrote my message on the back. =)

Today's game with LA wasn't bad. Wasn't spectacular though. We lost itty bitty points here and there. The scores weren't perfect 11-0. Corey and I beat our match 11-3 11-1.Hehe, my one slice from the back court worked. =P Lol that guy we were playing had such hard shots. I told Corey I was scared of being infront. But then there's one shot one of us popped pretty high up to the back and I was thinking Uh Oh but I didn't move. Corey was like. I thought you were scared of his shots..Yea..so scared that my legs wouldn't carry me back I was up and about at the beginning. Then when I played mix with Jensen, I was all meh. I hope we do as well as we did last season. I haven't been practicing with him at all. =S Everyone's been asking how come I haven't been Jensen's partner in any of our games..Lol.. Sylvia and I played a game against LA's boys doubles.. 11-0 11-8 for us.XD She HIT one of the guys! Lmao then whenever they popped it up at the net and she'd rush it, they'd back away. O god.. lol. Julian and Adam lost a couple games I think.. So did Wanta and Stella.. O well... The guys Julian and Adam were playing were so funny. They were frooty. So cool. I like games like that...when you're always laughing and you feel good after, even if you lose. Mr Nguyen wasn't here all day but he showd up for our game. Lol There's Brandon giving him bunny ears. =3 And then there's David being sucha poser and Yvonne our scorekeeper. Whoa...I just noticed... What's with all the peace signs?

I walked home with Brandon and Jimmy and we were talking bout Miyazaki's Ghibli films. Then Brandon said he watches this new japanese... show on YTV at one in the morning and that all their characters are weird shapes and it's all out of proportion. Jimmy goes "Like.... every other japanese anime?".lol..

XD I was browsing through friendster and there was an AD along the side that said Askaninja.com. Lol Well I watched the latest one. It's pretty funny.

[Playoffs ...already?!]

The only thing I was looking forward to today was badminton. But noOOooo they decide to fix the curtain [which apparently was broken] in the gym. Ugh... We had a short meeting in the weight room to decide who's playing at the Surrey Championships next week. Well today's practice was supposed to be playoffs for the line up even though we kinda already know who's playing what.

Ah it's gonna be so awesome. Next week Surreys, week after Lower Frasers, week after that Frasers? Followed by team competition. All this talk of badminton's getting me pumped up. Well....it looks like Jensen will be back in school tomorrow. He came by today for badminton but unfortunately it was cancelled. Tmr we have an exhibition game with LA Matheson. We were hoping to get JH over but =( booo. Guess we'll see them at the Surreys.

I got some of my prints for photography done today. I was in the darkroom the entire double block but I only managed to print.. mm bout 5?? We had to change the chemicals so many times. I'm beginning to like this course a lot =P Mr Pocock said that Mrs Shilladay isn't gonna be at our school next year so she won't be the one teaching Comparative Civics which a lotta people took. I'm kinda rethinking it since Mahli's gonna be the one teaching that course. Maybe I'll switch it to photography. At the moment it's: English 12, Math 12, Art 12, Art Careers [spare], Geology 12, Film studies 11, Comparative Civics 11, First Nations 11. Why am I taking so many social studies classes?! I don't even like SS.

[Performance is everything]

Wow I worked in SS?! We got our interim reports today =S I was so worried bout my mark dropping. The last time I saw it, it was down in the 80s. From over 100 to 80. I didn't wanna see it after our last test was added. But hey, my mark got bumped up again =). Mr Pocock hands me my interim "You're jumping all over the place Jamie" ...Is that.. good or bad?.... I'm at 92% =D. Good enough for me. Lol I've been listening to my music during class for the past couple of weeks so I've completely shut Diane out during the first two blocks. "Hey Jme...... Jme... JME! Fine.. don't listen to me." I can only hear her voice but I don't know what she's saying so I'd be like "Hmm.. ok".. lol >8D.

This is the first time we've had such a weird block order. Two blocks of SS followed by math. =S My stomach was making noises by the time I got to that class. Mrs Chou? I don't remember her name. But our student teacher taught today's lesson. Even though it's kinda hard to understand what she's saying coz of her accent, I find it's someone easier to understand when she explains things. Well... not when she explains it one on one. But when she actually went through our examples step by step, she shows every single step and what she does, so you know how she got from A to B. XD Jeff came up to me during math and was like:

"Wanna come to my birthday party this Friday?"
Me:"Sure if I don't have anything on. Your birthday's on Friday?"
Him:"Well it's tmr. But yea party's Friday. It's a toga party so you have to wear a toga"
Me:"Um... a toga?"
Him:"Yea we're going greek style and I've always wanted to have a toga party"
Me:"O god...I don't know bout you but I don't think a lotta people own togas. What are you expecting me to wear.. a pillow case?!"

We had our delayed lunch hour. I didn't eat =O.. Since the grade 8s have their first game today, Sylv and I were supposed to figure out today's line up and make any corrections. Unfortunately, we weren't able to go coz Piercy couldn't get us rides. O well I guess.. Maybe we'll go to their next game. She felt so sorry lol. Aww~

Eee.. I told myself to remember to bring my camera to the Pep Rally. But I left my backpack in my locker and went straight to class. =S So... I don't have any pictures of our lil function today. It was....entertaining I suppose. Started off with Jerrica singing followed by a couple of sports teams. Then Pep squad came on and the Breakdancing group. I forget what their name is.. Grafitti....something that ended with -afitti. Then we got called up, Sr Badminton. O man.. Jensen got suspended. He decides to do something bad today of all days lol. It's actually kinda funny. Yvonne said he got suspended for throwing a grade 8s backpack into the toilet..? O god. He got suspended for a week too. That's pretty harsh. Lol.. When we were standing up there, I told Mr Nguyen and he's like.. WHAT?! That's the first time I've actually seen Mr Nguyen frown. O_O Well the rally was kinda like the athletics banquet just without the awards. And the people cheering just for the sake of cheering.

We had to change the chemicals in the darkroom during Photography and David poured out the stop and took so long to add the water to dilute it. The entire darkroom was just.. ugh.. Smelled like vinegar if you put the bottle right to your nose. Eeeeggshhh.

Lol Troy's been sending me videos again. I have yet to finish watching all of them.

Ah man. Badminton was too funny today. Sylvia and I played with Brandon and Peter. O god. Peter did this really really really odd.. swing.. I don't even know how to describe it. It just turned out really weird. And I couldn't stop laughing and I swear laughing is contagious. Sylvia wouldn't stop laughing either. My eyes were starting to water from all the laughing. We were literally down on the ground. XD Betchu Brandon thought we were on crack or something. He was like.. OK.. It's not THAT funny! Whoa man.. He smashed one of the birds down the side panels so hard... it went so fast. Out.. but holy crap. And I swear Peter was aiming at me the entire time. Everytime Sylvia popped the bird up, bam.. he smashes it right at me. Lmao.. I was just standing there and he hits me! Then he popped one up so I smacked it down at the net and he was like "....that... was ugly"... Jmerz goes "Yno what's uglier?!" XD Ah good game today. Grade 8s have their first game at LA Matheson tomorrow. Piercy wants both me and Sylvia to be there. Sweeeeet~ So yea she's gonna get us out of class at 2:30 tmr. =( Unfortunately I have photography in that block. Our block's already shortened coz of the Pep Rally which means I only have 45 minutes in photograpy.

Pep Rally... what is a Pep Rally? That's been the question of the day. Mr Pocock said it's a function where you check out all our sports and go "Yay" "Whooo" "Yeaaa" "Hoorah". Lmao.. Mr Nguyen said it's "an assembly to cheer on our teams...... wear your jackets! Ok.. remember!". He even sent me and email to remind me.

We got out of school early today. We're finally getting interim reports. =S Eee... I did so bad on our last math test. It was horrible. The class average was 48%. I wonder if Mr Huzyk's gonna let us have a retest. The next chapter doesn't look so hard. But I shall not speak so soon. After school, I rollerbladed to Erma to walk Pepper. It was so nice and sunny out. Beautiful weater =D Sunshine down here, snow up there. Ain't that perfect? After we got home, we had mmm chocolate banana cream cake. Awwwgh.. so good. I sat out on the deck and soaked up the sunshine =D

Sitting here with Joey watching "My Neighbour Totoro". Looks good so far. *Looks to the left*. Joey's eating jelly tubes. Lol She took all of them out of the container and sorted the colours. There are 2 purple ones next to me on the couch.

My parents went out to my uncle's place. So while they were out, Jo and I decided to go try out my new blades. Hoohoo check'em out. They're so nice and smooth. Bigger than my last pair.. Guess it takes a bit of getting used to. It kinda squeezes my heel.

Ah Jo and I brought Pepper on his walk out in the sun. Wish I had brought my camera. Lol. It's all about the photos now. Last night I was reading through chat logs and man time flies. I read the ones from exactly a year ago and it feels like it hasn't even really been all that long. Pretty crazy...We're gonna be watching Chicklen Little tonight =P.

Tee hee.. Jmerz went le shopping. =D. We were actually supposed to go to Canadian Tire to look at Nike rollerblades that were on sale. But there was nothing there! Cruddy selection. So we ended up going for dinner at A&W and then Sport Mart in Surrey Central. I looked at the blades... nothing caught my attention. Lol Not at that moment that is. I thought I was gonna go home empty handed. =P.. We looked at ski pants.. then I got me a pair of baggy cords and shorts. Then we went back to look at the rollerblades and I tried on a few. Ended up getting a pair of Salomons. "Once a salomon, always a salomon." =P. They're pretty trippy..Silver with bits of yellow. Not as nice as my original pair but better than all the others we've seen so far. As we were paying, I picked out a pair of shades and I was like... Ok I like these. Lol.. It was like.. my birthday or something. And even on my birthday I don't get to shop like that. Hey hey hey.. the pants and shorts were half price. =P Joey got her goggles. Now we don't have to share.

Yea... other than that.. Today was pretty normal. Got part of our SS test back. =S...Coached Grade 8 Badminton at lunch with Sylv and Beano. Then Corey and Jim came by to watch. I don't know how I'm gonna get my hours recorded for the grade 8 thing. Mmm.. Yea.. so after lunch, I did my math test. =S When I did the review yesterday, I managed to get everything. But when it came to the test, I couldn't remember how to do the "completing the square" thingamajig. >< Urg.. There were so many on that one too! =(... I skipped a couple.. then did the ones at the end... By the time I got back to look through the ones I missed, I had 10 minutes left. Had to rush through the ones I didn't get. And if I COULD do them that fast, I woulda been able to do them from the start. So... it doesn't look like this test is gonna be a very good one =S. Hopefully the second half of the chapter ain't as hard. Hah...

We had practice after school. Man Sylvia and I were so high. We didn't even have anything to eat. No sugar..no coffee.. The three of us, Sylv, Diane and I were just laughing through the entire game. There was one rally where Diane made ALL her shots laughing. Sylvia couldn't stand it she just burst into laughter as well. XD After that, we went to get candy, chips and chocolate milk. We just sat there eating. =P Good stuff. Well ok some bad news. Jensen's been using the second racket I have coz he snapped the strings of his own at our game at Semi. Well good news, he's getting them restrung for me. Apparently Hogen knows someone who can do it for 10 bucks, no labour charge, just for strings. So that's good.

So we finally got our gym time at lunch and tmr the grade 8s have their practice. Sylv and I played 2 games against Diane and Lily today. Ah that was fun. Then we watched the guys play. Jensen was so hyper. He was jumping/rolling/diving everywhere. And Alex kept messing up so he got all pissed.. lol.. "pissed".. It was hilarious. I brought my camera out to video him constantly yelling at Alex but after I did, they didn't do anything funny! =(... Urg, Juniors get practices every single day. The TV monitors say Seniors get the big gym tomorrow from 3 to 5. But I'm thinking we have to share it with the Jrs. From the looks of it, I don't think anyone's gonna show. I'm still waiting for Mr Hilder to return my voice msg from yesterday. I had to phone for Work Experience but he wasn't there. Now everytime the phone rings, I jump but it's never for me.

Yet another...horse. I gotta start drawing other things. Lol Well hey, I drew a...person? =P So photography happened. Ms Nickel went through the darkroom procedures with us in the first block so I guess tmr I'll be printing pictures =D. Troy came by so we chilled for a bit...listened to his music, looked at his artwork. Then Jen, Lily and I went to the library only to be shoo-ed out by Ms Whitlock. We spent the rest of photography doing pretty much nothing.

Ah what a day. I started the morning with our nerve wrecking mock interviews for Work Ex. Mine wasn't until 10 but that meant an entire block and more of waiting and freaking out. Everyone was dressed up in their shirts/ties/dresspants/heels...etc...We did nothing all block C.. Then the time came... Mr Derbyshire took our photos as usual to put up outside the Career Office. I guess it wasn't so bad when I actually got in there and had the interview done. I had this guy, Mr Hasalback. He was pretty nice.. really easy to talk to and stuff. So he asked me a set of questions.. What my future goals are.. What I can tell him about the school... What my greatest strengths and weaknesses are... He interviewed Sylvia before me and saw that our resumes had similar info under interests and stuff. Since both of us play badminton and coach grade 8 badminton he asked about it. Then he asked who my mix doubles partner was coz I said I got 1st in mix in Junior Badminton. He knows Jensen! Prob interviewed him too.. That's so cool. Everyone knows that guy. At the end, he asked if I had any questions for him and I wasn't sure what I was supposed to ask coz he wouldn't know how to answer my questions since he's not from Erma. But he said to just ask anything and pretend that he worked there. Well I think I'm good to go. Not so nervous now =). Derbyshire said I can even help out Erma's badminton team if I wanted to. So that's pretty cool.

I don't know how Fabiano does it, but ever since he got here. He's somehow found the money to get us new computers, new laptops, money for reflooring in the gym, repainting and now a mural in the gym. In a way that's good. But at the same time, he's been cancelling all our school events. Like.. there's no more spirit week. He's also been cutting down the dances. =( Badminton was cancelled again. Ugh schtupid grade 8s.. "Hey NO BADMINTON.. BADMINTON'S Friday! Get outta the gym!"....Shiiaaadaaap! Sylvia and I went to go look for Ms Brown coz there was supposed to be grade 8 practice. But she wasn't here so. =( I spent my lunch in the library looking for ideas on what to draw. Andy told me that in order to get into Art School, you need a lotta.... "Modern Art". He said if you just did regular, traditional, still life, that it's not good enough. Well.. he said he pays this guy 150 per month for art lessons and that's what he was told. Library eventually got boring and Brandon finished reading his book so we went to the bandroom. Dustin was in there playing his bass. Omg it was soooo loud. The floor..wait no. EVERYTHING was vibrating. When I walk, even when I lift my feet off the ground, its vibrating. Ryan was in there too. Oh and Tyler was on the drums. It was a lotta noise~....

We managed to persuade Mr Nguyen to let us get off school early. =P.. I was in photography and I finished developing my second roll of film just in time. Phew.. thought I wasn't gonna have enough time. Andy came by to watch us. Ah my second roll look so much better. =D.. Photography's getting more interesting now.

Well we left at 2:20 for Semiahmoo for our final set of league games. =( Season's coming to an end. Me, Lily, Diane and Wanta went with Mr Nguyen. Ah he's so funny. We kept asking him these brain teasers. Diane got him 3 times. And he was just burning people back and forth.

He put on this weird song... Funky Calidano? Cadilano... I don't remember.Lily says it's Cold Medina.. But it was pretty catchy. The words Funky Calidano are stuck in mine and Diane's heads now. Guess who we saw!!?!? Alex! Alex who was in FH before. His hairs so long now. Lol He's so asian. He straightened his hair and he's got a chinese tutor and he's going to Taiwan this summer [He's white btw]..Very cool very cool..Ahh...Corey and I played Elgin Park.. 15-0 11-1. Lol.. We forgot that games went to 11 so the first game we kinda gave them a lil chance. Cept they didn't use it. =P.. After that Sylv and I played doubles against Semi. So we beat Elgin Park 11-0 and Semi 6-5.. That was pretty darn close. Too close...Well Jensen beat Pat so that's good. They played with feather birds too. FH Senior Badminton, still undefeated in league play. David said we've never lost a league game between our year and his year in Junior or Senior. We've been undefeated. I suppose today's games were relatively easy. I didn't play very well. Aii.. I feel like I haven't improved at all. There's a "Yumo Invitational Badminton Tournament" @ Cambie Secondary coming up. Jensen said there's gonna be lotsa competition. Sylv and I are thinking of entering it. Woo..

[Cold one on a hot day?]

Since it was uber sunny today, my parents went to Home Depot to pick up some plants.. actually.. a whole lotta plants and were out in the yard all day digging everything up. Joey decided to go out there for a bit too. She wore her lil umbrella hat and... well.. sprayed herself with the hose it appears?

I watched The Notebook, munched on cookies and curry puffs then Jo and I made smoothies. Mmm good stuff. Our ingredients included: Frozen strawberries, mango, peach, juice, sugar...blood, sweat and tears? Haha. =P...Since we didn't add milk this time [um coz it seems that we're all out], it was tangy. Pretty good though. I think I like it better with milk though. Well.. that's my day. I'm gonna pack up my stuff for tomorrow and maybe watch some Star Wars. Ah I love my computer. =D

Ah well I installed Photoshop onto my laptop today as well as my tablet. I think I have pretty much everything I need. Zhen has this funky way she posts her pictures up and I thought there was some certain template or something to do it. But she said she basically used the line tool and I figure she does it free hand. So that's relatively straight forward. I decided to give it a try.. and voila. Cept.. I'm gonna have to find another way to border my photos. Don't wanna look just like her blog. My mom was showing me this lady's blog. It's pretty cool. She does her pictures this way too. So I guess I wouldn't want my blog to look like hers even though I love the way these pics look.

Joseline from next door held a garage sale today. They're still out there right now. Usually we have cul de sac garage sales. Don't know why this year she went on to advertise without the rest of the cul de sac. There have been so many cars come by since this morning though. I think they were up since 8 or 9 this morning and it's already almost 3 right now. Lucky for them the sun is shining nice and bright out. =) John was showing us his snowboard. Said it's a high performance board and it's meant for icy surfaces. Pretty cool. I've never seen a board like that before. He said he got it bout 5 years ago. It's got a different edge than regular boards and the bindings are different. It's a burton too.

[The Constant Gardener]

I got up pretty late this morning. Looked at the clock and it was already 11:40. Gah! I slept all the way til noon! Usually I'm awake at 9-ish and I roll til 10. Lol Musta been the boarding.. Well and the fact that I was up late last night watching TV. =P I lazed around the house.. had my brunch.. Well technically lunch since it was already 12 when I cooked my noodles. My dad gave me my moms laptop and I brought my CPU downstairs to copy files over. Heheheheh now I have zee laptop. =) First Sylv called to ask about badminton then Beano called and said I should visit him.. so I did. =P

We watched part of Wayne's World. Lol his dad was so funny. He yelled from his room to tell Brandon to watch it then he kept repeating the lines. So awesome. His mom came home a little while after and she rented The Constant Gardener, Sylvia's all-time fav. XD.. We watched that and had Dr Pepper floats. Mmm good stuff. The icecream was all crusty with frozen Dr Pepper. Then she made us hotdogs and his dad went out and got us cheeseburgers. Man I can't believe I was able to swallow down my dinner after all that. Then we have our mock interviews on Tuesday as well as our game against Semi and... some other school. I gots 3 more days.

We were right on schedule today. Aunty Jeanette arrived @ exactly 9:30 ... loaded up the car.. dropped Pepper off at Diane's then headed for Cypress @ precisely 10 o'clock. It was kinda rainy at the base =S so we were worried it was gonna be raining up there. But nope, it was pretty.. Nice and snowy. Aunty Jeanette and Stephanie went to get their rentals while Joey and I went to the lodge to look for Corey. Lol He was standing there in his bright red suit and bright yellow helmet and we were standing right behind him but I didn't know it was him. XD.. My dad apparently walked right by him and didn't see him. Yea.. well we got up... and Corey brought us through the runs. Pretty cool. Never woulda explored that much of the moutain by ourselves. We got onto black runs! They didn't seem that steep though. He was like "Follow me..." So I follow him and he goes off this jump and I didn't know what was on the other side.. it kinda just dropped.. I thought it was flat on the other end but nooo.. Ah fun stuff. It was freezing man.. I wore my bandanna to cover up my face but it got frozen. It was crusty.. so was my hair. Joey's hair.. was just.. a mess..It was all over the place. And since it was sooo windy and the frozen rain was just.. everywhere, Joeycouldn't see. SO.. I felt sorry for her SO I gave her my goggles. Then I couldn't see. So Corey gave me his goggles and he went down with frozen crap all over his face. Awwww~ lol..

Yea it was a pretty fun day apart from the rain/snow/hail/fog coming down on us. Corey had to go at 3 so Joey and I went to get some food and headed back up to take pictures. We sat in the middle of Mid-way, lol.. and took pictures. We watched the sky go from clear.. to.. pretty much.. white.. It was so foggy that it was just white. You couldn't see anyone in front of you.

I'm watching A Walk to Remember right now. Well.. not really.. I haven't exactly been paying attention. But it's a good movie so Imma go catch the end of it.

I had a morning wake-up call.. Joey jumped on me at 9:35 this morning and said to me "...we're leaving now" . lol.."WHAT?!" We went to Ikea for their 1$ breakfast. Mmmm.. You get.. 2 sausages.. hashbrowns [which were really just cubed potatoes].. egg.. and a croissante. Mmmm..And well.. the sign said you could substitute the 2 sausages for pancakes. We were kinda confused coz when we asked for the pancakes, the dude just gave us another plate as well as the sausages. So we asked the guy at the counter and he was so rude. He's like "..no that's not how it works"..."But that's what the sign said" ...."..no".. Like whoa someone got up on the wrong side of the bed. Well it was a pretty fun walk around Ikea believe it or not lol. My dad asked if I wanted to move to the guest room and my room will be the guest room. =D.. Cept.. I'm not sure if that will actually go according to plan. Coz he asked if I wanted to convert the garage into a room for me but it hasn't happened. =D He also said he's gonna trade my computer for my mom's laptop. Sahweet...

Went to badminton after. Corey booked the gym for us =). Lily, Krissy, Diane and him were already there when I got there. Then Jensen came so I rallied with him. He's playing 3 tournaments this break mahn. We were working on drives with the feathered bird. Crazyy.. It was like pow pow pow. Cept my shots kinda went funky when my arm got tired. Sylvia came by too lol.. we weren't playing too well though. Ah yea.. O well..

Going boarding tomorrow! Woot.. =).. My parents are gonna go out to pick up the rental car and Aunty Jeanette and Steph will come by and we'll be up there.. with the powder.. =P.. And Corey's gonna show us around. My dad said we had an extra seat so I phoned Brandon to see if he'd be interested [even though he went today]. So I phoned at like 8 and his mom was so worried bout him coz he wasn't home yet. She's so funny... "Ok.. it's 8.. so we shant worry yet.. But do you think you could phone back at 9:30...?" Lol.. Well on the plus side I got a call from him 10 minutes later so .. he IS alive. Unfortunately his mom said he's tired so he can't go tmr. =(.. We'll be dropping Pepper off at Deano's in the morning so she'll have lotsa fun with him. [As long as she doesn't drop him on his head again]

I stepped out of the house today. Lol My family and I went for Vietnamese... Pho Hoa.. Or actually.. FUH.. lmao.. phuh? I don't remember if I've already mentioned this. Well.. all a long I've called it Pho.. Foe.. But Jensen said it's FUH. So, fuh it is. And since Jensen's Vietnamese, he should know. After lunch, I went for badminton. Hey I haven't played since Thursday and that's like foooooorever. So I couldn't stand it no more.. I had to go. My mom wasn't really sure if I should have. I told her I was gonna sweat all the crap out of my system. So Hoge came to pick me up and we went to the FH rec. They let all these little kids in. It's supposed to be youth which is 13 and older. Then there was this mom who was complaining that her kids don't get to play. So then we had to keep rotating. There are so many tournaments going on this week. The BK tourni on Weds/Thursday which everyone is so confused about coz no one from Guildford Park is picking up their phone. There's the Douglas tournament that I played last Spring and there SFU one. Don't think I'll be playing any this year. =(. But hopefully I'll be able to get some boarding done this Spring break. Corey's going up and he said he'll show me around the mountain. That'll be cool.

Well guess what.. I came home from badminton and I felt so much better. The sniffles are gone! =D.. Let's hope it stays that way.

Da-Yong celebrated his first birthday tonight. Crazy eh. He's 1 already! Unfortunately, I didn't bring my camera to Uncle SH's house for dinner. Or else there'd be a picture of him and his cake and new toys up here =(. Before I drop dead on my bed...

Turns out the pictures I took for my first roll assignment were kinda under exposed. Duh-oh.. Ms Nickel said I can re-do it so thankfully I developed them early. =S Well I have all of Spring break to do another roll. Phew... Hopefully it'll be nice and sunny.

I took an Actifed pill this morning. Then I realised Actifed makes you drowsy. Lmao Diane and Sylvia said I was so stoned all day. @_@. I survived! Hey I was wide awake in math class believe it or not. Ugh.. homework over Spring break. I think I'll get it all over with tmr. I'm really hoping this cold goes away soon or else I might even have to cancel boarding next week =(!!!!!!! Ick.. what a time to get sick.

School's holding a 30 hour famine on April 7th/8th. Lol Sylvia and a bunch of us are thinking of joining it. You get to camp out at school and just hang out. Teachers have some activities planned for the night and we just.. chill.. and.. uhh.. not eat? Cept.. I don't know why they call it a 30 hour famine when it's not even 30 hours. Unless we aren't allowed to eat during the entire day O_O. It only starts after school though. It'll be fun. We're gathering more people so it'll be more fun. I handed Brandon the sheet when he came upstairs and he was like "WHAT I ain't going without food man" Then on the way to class, he puts it in Dustin's hands.

Well.. I'm not sure what else happened today.. My brain's not really functioning at the moment. I think I was actually working all of the double block of SS... for the first time in a while. Lol my eyes were getting all watery after school. Don't know why it only started at the end of the day. I was talking to Jim and I just kept tearing up.

[Another winter day has come and gone away]

It decided to snow again today. =) I thought my snowboard was going into storage for the rest of the year but nope. Aunty Jeanette is coming next week so we might go up to Cypress. Score! Unfortunately on the day they plan to go, Guildford Park's holding their "A Knight to Remember" Doubles Tournament for badminton. Sylvia and I were thinking of entering. Meep... gonna have to wait until Sunday to see if we're going boarding fo sho. If we go to that tournament, Nina's gonna be there too. So she can pass us our sweatpants. She says they're done. Sahweeeeet.

This is the first time in Photography history that class wasn't boring! Katee and I developed our film... got to play around with the chemicals for the first time. Eck, I don't think my first role has any good pictures tho =S. I should have taken more pictures. Coz I thought that we had to strictly follow the criteria so I didn't exactly finish the entire role. I had about 3 or 4 more pictures to go. What on earth is a close up of a landscape? I took a picture of the tree outside our class lol.. That's as close as you're gonna get. After that, Lily, Jen and I went down the hall to take more pictures. They look pretty cool. There was this... wall.. and Lily had this bizarre idea. She got me to stand on one side and Jen on the other and we just.. posed. =P

Played badminton at lunch. I just realized that if I don't get to play badminton next Wednesday, I won't be playing for an entire week! Gasp! Practice is cancelled tmr coz Mr Nguyen's on the Cuba trip. Lucky bum. I vhanna go to Cuba. Tis so cold here.. and snowy.. uhh.. slushy now.

Jme got work done in SS? Heh.. I'm lucky to have crazy workaholics who sit next to me. I swear... Jane can't possibly get any marks deducted. If she does.. then.. then.. the world's gonna end. Pigs might really grow wings and start flying. She's been doing extra work and making notes for every single thing in the chapters. I don't think I've even read a full chapter yet. Guess I'll attempt to do that over Spring break. On the plus side, even though I didn't really study for my WW1 quiz, I got 44/51which is an A. 86%. And I'm still maintaining an A average in that class.

I brought my portfiolio to class today and everyone was flipping through it. Sharon said she'd pay me to draw her picture. Lol... Cha-ching $$$.

Diane decided to doodle on Pocock's board at break and so she drew Wanta and David. Then Edwin came by and contributed to the drawing. XD.. Ah man Edwin's so funny. Wanta was sitting infront of me the other day and so was Sean. We were doing our work when Ed comes by and picks up this battery I found from the ground and goes "HEY a battery!" *flings it straight at Wanta* [uhh for some reason]

*Sniff sniff* Jmerz is sick =(... Lol Brandon said I was sickey. Nuooooooooooo.. SOMEONE started it. From what I heard.. Julian was sick.. and he coughed in Jensen's face and then HE got sick. Brandon was sick somewhere inbetween. Brian got sick the night he had to walk home after badminton. Then both Diane and I got sick. Joey was sick somehwere in between there too. >< Eck... I was so strong for so long!

I sat in Math this morning staring out the window at the .... SNOW.. At first I waslike.. hey it's.... raining.. but.. it looks like...snow.. O wait.. IT IS SNOW! Huzyk had his back facing the window almost all class and he didn't know until it was break and he's like "Omg! It's snowing!" lol.. Today's math was relatively easy. Easier than that last thing we did. =S My test scores keep going down. Jeff and I were comparing marks and his are kinda like mine. I wonder when Huzyk's gonna do interims. They were supposed to be.. today? Mm well as long as I get a B this semester I'll be satisfied. Lol According to Mr Huzyk, next Tuesday is "Pie Day".. 2006.03.14. The formula for pie is 3.14 and the date looks like it therefore March the 14th is Pie Day.

Went to the library at lunch to "study" for SS...Lol well I think I got some info down. Cept I kinda knew everything I read. Brandon came by and he was reading then we went to Mr Nguyen's portfolio session and hung out in there. He wasn't really there much but his assistant was. I forget her name. Wow I don't even know what I'm doing for my portfolio. There's so many things I can do that makes it special but I need to do it as an assignment which sucks.

Ugh it was raining out when block C started. Lmao my hair got messed up [well it's always messed up =S!] and Sylvia looks at me and goes "WHAT is wrong with your hair?!?!" XD. Heheh... SS test.. I think I did pretty well on the multiple choice part. The written part.. ehh.. not so good =S!! I had no idea WHAT to write. And there were SO many questions! Ahhh hopefully I get part marks. Lmao Mr Pocock's so funny. He was handing back our work yesterday and I didn't get any of my assignments back. I was like "Mr Pocock! I didn't get ANY of my assignments back" And he LAUGHS at me. XP Then he goes to look for my assignments and finds my map. I coulda sworn I had more than that. Then I found my definitions at the bottom of the hand-in pile. Today, I had water all over my binder and it got all over the desk so he had to get me paper towels to clean my desk and even THEN it was still wet.. somehow.. Then I got water all over my scantron so he had to get me another one. Lol.. He kept having to walk back and forth to meet my requirements. Guess what I had for lunch. I bit into my sammich and o god. I thought it was chicken salad! But.. nope.. it was tuna. Well that was a sudden change. My mom and dad have all of a sudden decided to start a healthier diet. It's funny. My dad's been eating nothing but salads the past few days. My parents went out and got a mini blender as well as a Brita filter jug. Cleaner water? I came home to a mango milkshake... lots-o lots-o air bubbles. It was like.. frothy.. Lol and I had so many different kindsa fruits today. Pear for lunch.. an orange after school.. mango.. and guava.

Well... since I'm downstairs, I shall use this time to blog before I have to go review for my WW1 test. =S.. I really don't get it when social studies teachers teach. I mean.. we get a textbook.. we get the worksheets and the questions but only some notes. Like.. it's pretty much self teaching. You get the book.. you're supposed to read it and memorize it? Then bits and pieces of information are thrown at you and you're expected to just know it.

=S.. I'm so worried bout my math mark. ><.. I was so focused on the harder questions and trying to understand and get them right that the simple questions got so confusing! I didn't know how to do one question in the review and neither did Jeff so him and I went in for help in the morning. Huzyk was running around class helping a bunch of other people though so he kinda had to explain the question in three different portions. Gah!

Mmm I'll skip to our game. I think we beat Sullivan Heights no problem. Corey and I played mix and he was kinda nervous but we pulled through. 11-8 and then 11-3. I couldn't stop moving the entire time we were waiting for our game to be called. So restless.. Jessica and Alex came to play us. They're still in Juniors but kinda like what Jensen and I did last year against GP, they were allowed 2 senior league games. Man... creamed us.. Ok well.. we got 8-11 8-11 both times. =T... I kept messing up then during the second game all the pressure was on. Guess we gotta practice more. We managed to block a lot of Jessica's smashes though so I guess it wasn't bad. Would have been so awesome if we beat them tho. Everyone was watching us along the side and cheering. Well.. good job team.. overall I think we did pretty well. Beat Sullivan 11-0? And lost 3 or 4 games to FVC? Yea something like that.

"Clean up on aisle 5".... Mr Nguyen needed someone to clear up some slippery spots on the courts so he got Brandon to and everyone was joking bout how he was a "Zamboni driver". And I was just like.. "What's a Zamboni driver".. David turns around and gives me sucha devastated look. He looked at me like I said the world was gonna end or something. Yea well.. he got Brandon to tell me what it was. Lol.. Frank. J Zamboni.. Ah man.. that's the dude that invented the machine to smoothen the ice in skating rinks. Well guess I learned something today.

Shuj is coming to Vancouver! ... Yessssssss... I can't wait. Her family's gonna be on the Alaskan cruise sometime end of June and she's stopping in B.C for a day or two and she said I'll be the first person she visits. =DDDDDDD That just made my day

My left arm is still sore. =( I don't know what it is. But somehow.... even though it hurt, I could hit the bird pretty well at badminton. Lotsa sweet spots. Practice was so-so. We have our game against FVC and Sullivan tomorrow. D'oh. Jensen wasn't here for team pics today =S! It's either people forget their jacket or people don't show up. Aiii.. Yea so Mr Nguyen was saying that for FVC he's putting up the stronger players cept we can only play either just doubles or singles and mix which sucks coz me and Sylvia wanna play doubles but someone needs to play singles. They have pretty good singles players.

Well I just got back from babysitting. It was actually fun today. Lol.. Joseph and I played dinosaurs for the longest time. We made a bridge outta card and connected 2 chairs with this long strip and held it together with books so it was kinda like a bridge and we got the lil.. dinosaur figurines and placed them in the middle of the suspension. Yea and we kept putting more weight on it until it collapsed. They seemed to enjoy it =P. Chris and Ally were so invovled in their lil board game that Chris made that neither of them wanted to go upstairs [Well do they ever?].. Ah.. Tis 10 now.. I don't really feel like doing any math so .. GOOD LUCK JME! I'll just try ta remember everything from this chapter and get into my zone tmr.

Gah! Jensen's sick! Apparently so sick to the point of coughing up blood. O_O.. That ain't cool. Poor him.. Now who's gonna play singles tmr?! XD.. Duh oh..

I shoulda taken pictures of what I did TODAY but I got lazy so these pics shall do.. lol Well hey I DID take them so. =P There's a Peak Frean I had for lunch XD And.. me.. and Deano... and The school's camera. I still have a few more pictures to take for photography =S but it's so gloomy outside. How am I supposed to get a high key day light shot when its cloudy out!? I took a couple pictures of Joey and my mom. lol.. Cept I don't know what they look like. My dad said I should use my digital cam and play around with the apertures and stuff and see how it looks before taking it with the manual haha.. Joey goes "That's CHEATING!"

This is probably the first Sunday in so long that I've stayed inside all day. Diane wanted to go to badminton but my mom said I should stay home since I've been out so much. I'm actually feeling kinda lazy. My butt ain't itching to get off the seat and outta the house so I guess I'll live. *munches on sour cream and onion chips*... hmm now that ain't gonna work.

So... my weekend.. Went to watch movies with a buncha people yesterday. O god.. lmao.. never again. Plans were to watch Ultraviolet and Final Destination 3. Ultraviolet was just....just.. just don't watch it. The girls costume was pretty spiffy and I liked her shades but it was sucha weird movie. Ok at the beginning.. her hair keeps changing colour. Then all these sparkles run through her hair and her eyebrows across her face. Her clothes kept changing colour.. there was a boy named "6" who was about to die and she cured him with her tear drop. And after all that, it ends with her "finding her soul". Ah....Second movie we watched was... 16 blocks instead of Final Destination 3 coz from what Diane and Sylvia said, it's basically gory killing of people. I guess 16 blocks wasn't so bad. I was gonna fall asleep though. It was about a buncha cops who were involved in a murder and they tried covering it up until one of them has to go pick up this black guy who was gonna testify against them. One cop gets inbetween and he saved the black dude [who had a really nasal voice and not to mention was talking non-stop throughout the entire movie]. Yea... Twas a waste of 10.95$. O well.

We went to Pearl Fever after [as usual] followed by Mac Ds.. It was me, Sylvia, Diane, Julian, Alice, Brandon and Brian. So we talked... ate.. did the usual. Lol no one's gonna forgive Diane for picking Ultraviolet. Ah man XD Lotsa badminton talk. =D We have another home game on Tuesday. FVC and Sullivan! Gah! Sylv said Noog's gonna put all the good players up for FVC and we're all gonna play as many events and stuff. Gonna be like me and Sylv.. Sylvia would prob play singles.. Jensen singles and doubles.. Um.. mix maybe? I can't wait. Darg my arm is so sore though and I have no idea whyyyyy. It hurts so much and it's just my left arm too. After we did that plank thing at fitness on Wednesday, it's been like that. =S

It's been 3 weeks and I have ANOTHER math test next Tuesday. Just great eh? Ick. We have about.. mm March.. April.. May.. June.. 4 more months til school goes out for summer. Ain't that fast?! Omg.. We're almost done grade 11. >< I like it right now. I don't want any change!

I got a photo-pass and walked around school during block B.. There really isn't anything interesting to take photos of in school. I walked around the back to the field.. then into the forest.. took 2 pics and that was it. =\

Sylvia and I "coached" grade 8 girls badminton. Yea we didn't have to do anything coz there weren't any people left out like yesterday. So... it was me, Sylv, Adam and Brandon playing. Then we got kicked off the court so we watched them girls rally. Ah I wish we had our grade 8 badminton filmed. I wonder how I played back then. Haha I played doubles with Diane.. and we got BRONZE! Yea Diane was going through my old posts and she said I never posted about that so I'm doing that now.

I was so schleepy in socials. That block is sah ooooooo boring. Well hey I got most of my work done. I was ignoring Diane the entire time. *plugs headphones in and blasts music* "Huh? What did you say?"... =P.. We had our team pictures after school =).. Us and our pimp jackets. Ah so awesome. Cept SYLVIA was LATE and some people forgot their jackets. So we have to take it again on Monday. Badminton was..... mm.. crowded.. Ok the GYM was crowded. We had to share half with the Juniors so it was pretty tight. I mean 8 people on one court? Just impossible to get any good rallying going.

Walked home with Brando after school and we watched the first 10 minutes of the hockey game. Lol..First Nucks game I watch in SO long and they get scored on 3 times in 7 minutes. I was like "Brandon.. this is YOUR team.. they're being scored on!" And he's like "Ey ey ey... this is your team too!".. Aww he's sick =( He was being so odd!! He kept calling Joey who was in the kitchen with my mom. "Joooooo!.. Joooooey!!" *waves*.. My mom kept giving him weird looks. *cuckooo... cuckooo*...

Yea.. tmr.. I shall finish all my homework [math =(].. Then clean my room... vacuum.. yatta yatta.. Then I'll be going to watch movies with "the gang".. lol.. Was planning on going golfing with Brandon but then plans got mixed up.. SO if I finish all my work tmr before 2:30.. then perhaps I'll be able to go golfing with Brando on Sunday. =P

[And it's been a while]

It's been exactly 4 years that we've been in Canada. Crazy eh... 4's sucha small number.. but so much has happened.. so much change. I think I'm about right on time too. We arrived around 5ish. =P Tis 5:17 right now.

We learned how to mix chemicals in Photography and we FINALLY got to loan the cameras out. I have bout 4 days to take my assignments. Yea other than that, photography's still pretty boring =P.

At lunch, Mr Nguyen actually came by and stayed to watch us play and coached us and stuff. He set up a couple of games. Sylvia and I played against Peter and Brandon then Adam and Julian. We had a couple good shots. But today's practice wasn't that great. Well we have practice tmr after school hopefully. Team pictures tmr as well. Heheh we're all gonna wear our jackets. That'll be so awesome. Sylvia and I coached grade 8 badminton after school along with Craig. Lol Ms Brown called us Gym-brats. She was talking to the grade 8 guys and she's like "Yea you guys just gotta get out there and keep playing.. I mean.. Jamie.. I had her in grade.. 9? And she was the most quiet person ever. She was so silent.. and she wouldn't talk. But look at her now.. I would never have guessed she could have developed all those skills in my P.E class. So you gotta just work at it." Lol... She even remembers what grade she had me in. Betcha teachers in Singapore wouldn't even remember who you were once the semester ends. Sylvia was talking to Steve's mom [Steve's this crazy awesome grade 8 badm. player who's been training with Wilson]. She's planning on going to Saturday Guildford classes. Apparently Wilson's giving lessons. Would be cool to have a coach.

The school dance is tonight, "Rush". Apparently it's the "last chance dance" coz the behaviour hasn't been very good. Lotsa grinding and.. uh.. inappropriate behaviour. I think girls aren't even allowed to wear skirts to this dance. So if it's gonna be a lotta people breaking the rules and sneaking drugs in then I think we probably won't have dances for a long while now... not that it affects me in any way. FHN would just have one less segment out of our broadcasts lol.

I never liked Wednesdays. Today was pretty good though. I focused on math all morning =P.. Got 83% on my math test =S.. Not as good as the first one but good enough for me. Jeff was helping me with the homework. XD I kept yawning when Huzyk was teaching and he saw I was gonna fall asleep so he's like "Jamie....what is the FIRST thing you do in this question?!" Haha I may have seemed like I was falling asleep.. o but my brain was there. =)

I planned to stay in Math during lunch but then Andy told me I had to send in the orders for our badminton sweatpants TODAY coz Nina was sending in the orders. So I had to go find a computer. We went to the library to get our jackets and Mr Nguyen was having a portfolio meeting so we hung around in there for a bit. Talked.. lol I went on First Class and Mr Nguyen said I can start a badminton team mailing list and so that's what I did =P.. First Class is so sad.. I went into the grade 11 conference and 2 people left messages. One person.. I have no idea who he is.. and the other was Corey.. haha so I replied his msg. After that... hmm.. played this typing game with Brandon.. and Diane said she could type faster. Then Lily played it and her fingers are like... machines.. I guess I'm a pretty ok typer cept it's so much harder when I have to follow along and type a certain passage.

Fitness wasn't bad. I don't think I even broke a sweat. It was like.. warm up on bikes.. sit ups.. leg ups.. hip ups.. push ups.. haha yea all the ups.. SUPERMAN.. =P.. But my arms are really really numb now. Mm.. came home.. I don't think I did any work today. GASP.. Well I don't have math tmr and I WAS gonna finish it off today but.. it was already 9:30... and Brandon wanted me to phone him so we ended up talking for bout an hour.

We were talking about colour.. and at the same time.. people who annoyed us. He told me that people are like colours. You could like some colours, colours that appeal to you and there are colours that you don't like, ones that don't appeal to you. They may not look great standing alone but when you compliment them with other colours, they stand out and look good. So..in a way kinda like people.

Then we started talking about our courses and grade 12 and how he's not gonna have anymore time for fun. And it's kinda like.. When you're doing something you enjoy, time seems to past a lot faster. But really it isn't. Time isn't affected at all. And on the other hand, when you're not really doing something fun or if it was [as Brandon called it] uneventful, then time would seem to past slower and you think, what have I done? Nothing.. More like.. you haven't accomplished anything. He was on that topic for so long, trying to figure out how to say everything. And I didn't know what to say at that time lol =S.. It's too late! His question was.. So what are we thinking about when we aren't doing anything? Well.. it was something like that.. Lol Then Brandon was like.. You follow what I'm saying right lol.. Coz most people.. hear you.. they hear every word you say.. But.. they aren't listening. In my case well I was trying to listen but still haven't completely comprehended what he was going on about.

Lol ok too much for my brain to handle at this hour. Time to le go.
