So math happened.. and photography happened. Finals for World Cup Soccer were today. They had all the trophies out on display at the front of the gym. Today's game was Sierra Leone and Netherlands [Blue - Orange]. We had our fingers crossed for Sierra Leone to win. It was a tie 1 - 1 but then Colin got a yellowcard and I think that was his 3rd so..he got a red card, got kicked out. =(. Then Corey pushed.. or "pushed" Baldeep. The calls are so stupid. It was an accident. Corey was running behind Baldeep. He stops all of a sudden and obviously Corey's still moving forward when he makes a sudden stop. They called it on Corey and Netherlands got a penalty kick. So they scored 2 - 1. >=( I think they had about 3 minutes left and no one else scored. So... =( Sierra Leone lost. So very close. Lol it's hilarious how when there's a foul around the net and they get to kick from there. There's Aman, Manveer and.... I don't know who the last girl is. But they're standing there blocking the net, guys with hands over their crotches. Too funny.

It was my last day at work today. =(. Everything went by as per normal. I was showered with many cards, hugs and "I will miss you Jamie!"s. =). Once again another busy day. Ah I'm gonna miss kindergarten haha. I made each of the kids a little clothes peg-bug thing with wiggly eyes and pipecleaners and clipped them onto candy bags. Everyone loved it. I got Mrs. Rovtar a Starbucks gift card coz we were talking about cold drinks during that week of summer heat. She mentioned the Strawberries and Cream was her favourite and recommended me to try it. So I went out with my mom and we got the card as well as the drink. So we exchanged cards at the end of the day. As I walked out with Joey after school I felt the card and I had it in my head, "Uh oh, we got each other the same thing". Haha we bumped into her a little while after coz I still had some paperwork to be done. In my card for her I wrote "P.S. I tried the Strawberries and Cream". In hers to me, "Remember to try to Strawberries and Cream" =). Ah, that's too cool.

After school/work, I went over to Brandon's and we hung out. Played scrabble, watched Stargate, The Price is Right, and Video on Trial with Cammy, and listened to Matt Good. I was thinking of a good word and Brandon goes "Ok I'll help you." He spells out.. "Tign?"...I was like what on earth is that. He says it's a drug. Then he helped Camy and he made. "Verbatin?"...Says it's a chemical?... Brandon what's with you, drugs and chemicals.Brandon disappeared for a while. The next thing I knew, I had a handful of foam hovering above my head. Well then it got ON my head. =P. Brandon put a huge cloud of it on Cory's head and he didn't know. Then he styled it, "You look like Einstein now. Smile at Jamie!" =). Haha. I took my camera out and Brandon wanted to take a picture of Camy, "Camy... say..I swim with the fishes coz the fish are alright."...Camy gives him a puzzled look, "I swim with the...."...Brandon cuts in, "Oh and......Oh my, my just to get you to bite.."....Camy still has the confuzzled look on his face, "I......what did you want me to say again?"

[Sweet misery]

We're babysitting Leah for a week. She's Pepper's lil ball fetchin' friend. We now have a wide variety of balls scattered all over our house; tennis balls, rubber balls, soft squishy balls, balls that.... don't even look like balls anymore.

World Cup Soccer finals week! Hung out with Dustin, Brandon and Diane at lunch. Dustin's team played second round.

Kat: Oh who played?
Me: Aman's team and Dustin's. They got creamed.
Kat: Oh who's on the teams?
Me: Orange, Aman, Manveer, Baldeep.....Dustin's?...............Dustin..

Brandon kept yelling at all the players again. Diane was like "I'd never wanna be on a soccer field when Brandon's commentating.".. "You guys are embarrasing!" "You fools!" That, over and over and over. Then someone kicked the ball at him [coulda been Dustin, I can't remember] and he screamed SO loud. One of his high pitched girly screams. It was soooo funny. Diane and I couldn't stop laughing. Those 2 kept bugging each other too.

3 more days of work left. We got to plant seeds today. Before that, we headed for the computer lab. Mrs Rovtar goes "So what they do at the computer lab is work on their.....their...."...Me: "Typing?"....She laughs and goes "Ah you're so funny. They learn how to move the mouse...I stood there "....O..."...Haha.

[69th Washington State Open Badminton Tournament]

Day #1 : "49th Parallel"
Where to begin? So much has happened since Friday. I did my math test first thing in the morning and guess what? It took me half an hour to finish it. Well....I'm....um... confident?... that I did...well? Haha..I was so pumped that morning. Hogen came to pick me up and we went back to my place to pick up my stuff. Talked for a bit then headed for Guildford coz the guys wanted to get matching shirts for the tournament. Footlocker had a 5 for 25 deal so that was pretty good. Hogen and Jensen each got 5 shirts. Lol they decided to go pink for their doubles match. Sylvia and I split the costs, 2 shirts each and decided to give Tony the last one. All 5 of us have the same orange T. =)Usually it's the guys who wait for the girls to finish shopping. But nooOOooo Sylvia and I had to sit outside and wait for Hoge and Jensen to finish trying on their shorts. We drove back to Hoge's after and Tony picked us all up from there.

I wasn't quite sure what I had to do with my visa. Lol... "What... is a visa?"..It took about a half hour to get to the border. When we got there, they checked our passports and yea I had to...update the visa? Whatever it was I had to fill in a form and pay 6US. Thought I was gonna be a problem but turned out, Simon was. The found out he's a PR in the US and he never knew. He didn't have his "green card". SO, he phoned his mom to ask her and she ended up driving down allll the way from Langley. I think we waited bout an hour and a half before actually leaving the office. In that time.. lol.."So if we're at the border, where do these people live, in Canada or in the US?" Sylvia killed my "cool" question by getting all technical! Hmmph! Well after that was settled it was smooth sailing. We met Dave at the gas station at the border and at the same time picked up some FOOD. O man, now when you get a burger from the states, it's the REAL thing. Burgers from Mac Ds in Canada, pfft, those aren't burgers! The guys got a King size meal and ho ho ho the drinks are... definately made for a king. I can now understand why the percentage of people who are obese in the US is so high. Those burgers were mm mm good. Sylvia and I got grilled chicken. =P They had raspberry nestea too. Haven't heard of that one before.

The journey took bout 2 hours to Bellevue. I slept most of the way so didn't really know what was going on around me. =P. Tony put on Backstreet Boys. Lol That guy is hilarious. Ah just thinking bout it makes me giggle. We got to Fairfield Inn at around.. Mmm.. 5:30ish? Dropped all our things in our rooms and headed out to Pro sports club where the tournament was being held. It's about a 5 minute drive down. Wait no, not even 5 minutes. Maybe a 3 minute drive down from the hotel. That place is like.... so grand. You walk in and they hand you towels right away. We signed in and I couldn't get why we needed towels. They were big bath towels.

When we got to the gym, there were about 11-12 courts open with people rallying with victor feather birds. We were probably the youngest people there. There was one other kid but just him. Lotsa white people too! All in their Yonex skorts, all pro-like. Jensen and I had to play mix first. Our first opponents were this old guy and I'm guessing his wife. They were pretty darn good. We got creamed. Well it was our first match and we had to get used to the bird. Everytime they hit a floating shot and I tried to kill it, my shots would go out, just barely. They called everything out though. =( Well... we were pretty close actually... 10? 11? Yea I think the scores were 11-15 and 10-15. Pretty darn close. The only reason we lost was coz of the shots going out. I think it was the second game that we won. They weren't as great as the first. While we were rallying, there was another game going on on the court beside ours. XD This guy comes running and he just.... I don't know...forgets the nets there or something. He ran right into the net and the line was right between his nose and mouth. He was coming pretty fast too. He got sprung back like a catapult. XDDD That was hilarious. Well, we won that match. There was one shot where Jensen smashes it so fast that the guy didn't even know where the bird went. Haha. Him looking around for it was hilarious. All our games after that, well.. they kinda went down the drain. But oh well, we did alright.

After not eating anything for the whole afternoon, we finally made it to Denny's when our games ended at..oh... 11? 12? Had to wait for seats too! Didn't think that many people went for dinner at.. um.. midnight. It was alright. We had these "breakfast" specials. Lol.. 6$US for rosti, hash, omelette, sausages and 3 pancakes. Mmmm...

Back at the hotel, we took our showers, then watched movies. I think they watched some vampire movie. But I was too tired to do anything I fell asleep in 5 minutes. Man our room was so messy. Dave, Karl and Abhi [?] were playing poker or something in their room so they asked if we wanted. They're from Kwantlen. Or..well Dave and Abhi are I think? So it was pretty cool getting to know them. They'd watch our games and talk and stuff.. =P..

Day #2: "Jackie the Housefly"

Jensen got up at 7 I think. Hogen had his laptop set on alarm and it made some.. bleeping noise. Wasn't very effective. It woke Sylvia up but she turned it off and went back to bed lol. Jensen went out for a walk and when he came back we went downstairs for breakfast. This one was so much nicer than the ones we usually have at Comfort Inn or something when we go to Kelowna. They had the bagels, bread, french toast and everything in nice shelves with a crazy toaster. It was weird. It's like a lil conveyor belt with heated wire on the top and bottom so you just put your bread or whatever in it and it comes down at the bottom. Cept, sometime's it'd get stuck. And sticking your hands in there, not a good idea. Jensen found that out the hard way. Lol... this lady's toast got stuck and I was like "Jensen take it out for her!".. He stucks his hands in there and it was hawwt. lol.. I think he said he was gonna kill me after. =P Well I had a bagel with cream cheese. Jensen asked where the butter was and they had this lil individual blocks of it as well as some "oil spread". "Ok.. so you want the butter or the oil spread". There were a lot of familliar faces at that inn. Lotsa badminton people. We were watching the news. Lol it was like problem after problem.... Killing, fires, kidnapping, schools closing. There was no good news at all. Then it came to weather and we realized that there's a town or city called Vancouver. Then it hit me that... the entire day at our games, when the people we played introduced themselves, they asked where we were from and we said Vancouver. I mean we ARE from Vancouver...... BC... Well, by the time we were done, it was already 7:45. Hogen and Sylvia weren't even down yet. We sat there for a bit then I heard a laugh, "I swear, that's Tony's laugh"...10 seconds later, Tony, Ingrid and Simon walk into the room. O god. XD

Rushed out to our games. Singles started at 8 and we were just a tad bit late. =P... Hogen pwned in his first game. All his serves pushed the other dude back. Jensen's first match was a hippie guy. He was wearing a bandanna How cool. =P.. He didn't even know the rules to the game that well. But he worked Jensen quite a bit. Their scores were pretty close. They even had to set 14-14.. then Jensen won. lol. Simon and Tony did pretty well too.

We weren't allowed to bring any outside food in, so they had fruits and drinks for us. I learned that oranges are the least favoured followed by apples and then bananas. Everyone loved the bananas. I don't know how many I ate. It was the only source of food all day. The "punch" or.. gatorade or whatever was in that big container was diluted! It was like.. red water. Hogen and Jensen made full use of the facilities available at the club man. They went to the locker rooms and sat in the hot tubs, took like 10 showers between games. XD. Then they played their doubles game in their pimpin' pink shirts and kapwned. They were so hyped up and stoned at the same time. Well they played pretty hard. Won one and I think lost the other but it was very very close.

We were watching the singles games and Tony came by to sit by me. There was a HUGE fly buzzing around and I kept stomping my foot at it. Tony goes "HEY what are you doing?! Don't kill Jackie!" *starts rambling on and on about Jackie the housefly*.. I had no idea what he was talking about but it was hilarious. I was so stoned that morning. Sylvia and I had to wait until around 3 for our doubles to start and my batteries for my MP3 were dead! I was so bored! Tony's games were done by then so we drove out to get lunch. Mmm Jack in the Box Omg those burgers are the best. Hawghh~ *Drools* Sylvia got the Ultimate cheeseburger for her and Hoge and I got... I got... what did I get. Oh I got me and Jensen a bacon burger. Ohhh ho ho.. It's like thick piece of meat.. bacon strips and bacon bits... topped with lettuce and tomatoes and cheese. Heavenly~ The 3 of us sat in the car eating fries and burgers while listening to Tarzan and POTC haha. I opened Tony's car door and it kinda tapped on the back which made the car shake a lil. He was like "Hey hey hey, be gentle with Little Blue". XD His "minivan" is called "Little Blue". Sylvia was sitting in the front, I was next to her and Tony at the back. This entire trip, I've seen sooo many buggies and Hogen's been punching and slapping me this whole weekend. So when I saw the buggie, I was like... "Crap.. what colour is that?!?!? SILVER.. GREY... Punch... BUGGIE!"... At the same time, Tony spotted it and he just learned from Hogen that you can punch someone when you saw a buggie. Cept his words didn't come out right, "Bah ba ba bahh!!" *punch*. LMAO. XD Hahaha. Sylvia was like...WAH! Lol...

So our doubles started. Sylvia and I played this skinny girl [Hogen calls her Cookie Monster], and this complete opposite. They were pretty strong. We played really hard though. The scores were.. 7-15 and...13-15. [I think....]...Second game, we played these...I think they were indonesian. Well compared to all the competition we had to face, they weren't that great. Lotsa driving though. Sylvia went to the counter and there was this lady, Annie Poh who was asking to talk to me. This is the first time I've heard of someone outside of Ipoh with the same last name as me. Well, I spoke to her and we talked bout stuff... Told her my dad's from Malaysia and she said her parents as well. She's helping out with the Washington Tournament so yea that's cool. She got me to write my chinese name for her and we exchanged emails and stuff. Prettay cool. She said her parents stay in Burnaby but she lives in the States. Haha maybe we can trace back to some part of our "Poh" family tree. All of us were beat that day. Hogen and Jensen were prob in and out of the guys locker room hot tub 4 times and have had taken just as many showers.

That night we had our Saturday Night buffet which was included in our entry fee. Found out that it was a chinese buffet. It was so so. They didn't have that many things to pick from. Abhi came by to join us and yea.. pretty much ate and left. We were about an hour late so people were already starting to leave. We missed the door prizes but they still gave us the tickets. Didn't get that... Back at the hotel we watched The Ringer. Ah that was hilarious. Bout this guy who pretends he's mentally disabled to enter the special olympics for money. Tony came by to chill with us for a while. When we put Hostel on, he left to go play poker. O god, that movie is horrible. It was like.. sick... gore... ugh...And the scary part was everyone fell asleep! I was so scared!! Eeesh..

Day #3: "Tony goes Hulk"

Morning of finals. We checked out, threw everything in Tony's car and headed back to Pro Sports club. Sylvia and I had 2 hours to kill so we took a walk around the place. We decided to go check out what was so great bout the hot tubs. It looked.. cool... I guess.. lol. They had steam baths, sauna, tanning rooms, hot tubs, showers, and people who bring you towels lol. Hogen was so amazed. He wanted a towel and the guy brought it for him. Bet if him and Jensen stayed there they'd be so pampered. Jensen played finals for singles. Didn't do so well. Simon got owned too. When you watch Simon play at Frasers he's like wow a badminton god. But then when you watch him play at this tournament it's like the complete opposite. So so so... That was it for singles. Sylvia and I started our semi-finals for doubles. We had to play.. Susan.... and her partner. Sylvia said we were gonna be creamed. But man, that was an awesome game. Our rotation was like wow...and our shots. Dayum. It was awesome. Hit so many down shots and Sylvia did so many kills.It was awesome. Yea so we beat them.. First game was 15-7, second 15-2. Muahahaha~! >8D. Damn...

We also watched Tony and Simon play their doubles match. Tony went "incredible hulk" in their rallies. It was too funny. The other people were screaming and yelling after rallies. Then after, Tony was just like ARARGGGGGRRRRARRRH. Usually people yell at themselves to get themselves pumped. Tony however looked like he was yelling at the people they were playing. Ah too funny. They won! Simon won the last point with a roll over the net. How perfect. Tony's so crazy when he plays badminton. It's like pow pow pow. Very entertaining to watch.

Ok, so Sylvia and I had to play finals. Those girls were so cocky and it was as if they couldn't be bothered to play with us. Well we lost that one. They kept dropping on us and didn't want to try. Well... we got 2nd place in C-circuit. =D. Medals! At the end, we watched the mens' singles finals. Hoo man, that was one intense game to watch. It was this white guy versus an asian dude. The white guy was crazy. He's got so many trippy trick shots. He had crazy canvas shoes too haha. Very masculin. The asian guy kept making noises. It was hilarious. "Euuggggh... Ahhh.. Euhhh... Eeeeh.. Aghhh.." I couldn't stop laughing. Ingrid was gonna die of laughter as well. XD

After that, all of us just hung around for a bit, played some mix. Jensen said that I hit the bird harder when we use feathered. It makes that crazy sound.. *piak* haha..All of us took a shower at the club. So sweet, they have shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hand lotion, hair spray, mouth wash, combs. They have everything. After that, we followed Dave, Karl and Abhi to this restaurant, "Outback Steakhouse". It was pretty good, pretty pricy too. I had pasta with grilled chicken and a caesar salad. My bill came up to about 20$US. Tony was hilarious. He was cutting his meat and then his finger cramped up. "Ow ow ow, hey look at my finger! It's stuck!" O god. Then he decided to use his middle finger instead of the index. Ahh too funny. HE was being so frooty in the car too. We'd be driving down a windy road and everyone's about to fall asleep but you hear him "Weeeee...hoooooo.... haaaaaaaaaaa...". Priceless. Man, I'm gonna miss hanging out with him. The next time we do something like this again, probably won't come for a while. Hogen's leaving for Taiwan in 2 days. By the time he comes back, Sylvia will be going back. I'll be away in July while everyone has summer school. So we probably won't hang out as a group for a long time. Tony might help train us next badminton season though. That's gonna be awesome. So yea, this trip's been great. I'll never forget all the times we've laughed together...That's pretty much every single moment. And a big thank you to Tony for planning this trip, driving us all the way to Washington and back, and bearing with all our attempts to drive him crazy [did I say that? haha just kidding Tony!]

Today started of pretty slow. I wasted away the first block of Photography talking to Joyce and Ms Nickel kept asking us if we were gonna do any work. Well, eventually I did. =P. I developed more of my photo essay pictures. I seem to always do the assignments that aren't due yet and leave the ones that are. I sent my photoshop assignments to my firstclass account to transfer it to the school's computer but nooOOOoo they're using an older version to it's not compatible. =(

Soccer once again at lunch today. Mr McMurtry was so scary! He kept yelling at his team! It was 3-1 for his team and 10 seconds left. The ball was on the otherside and he decides to lie down infront of the net. It was so bad! Brandon played today too. His team versus Baldeep's. That game was horrible... only because Mr McMurtry kept making bad calls again. He's always taking sides! Well, Brandon's team lost. =( Wonder if they still make it to finals.

Work was hectic. They made butterflies today with paint so I had to cut out the body shapes. As well as the cutting I've been working on since the beginning of the week. Quote Ms Briske "Same thing, different day?" Haha. Once they were done going to the library, things got busy. Mrs Rovtar was outside testing them one by one while I watched them paint and do their journals. Here's how it went:

I could go on. Hehe...By the end of that, my hands were covered in paint.. shiney red, yellow, orange and green. =P. I don't know how Mrs Rovtar does it. Well, I enjoyed myself. My last week is coming up, it's gonna be so sad leaving them. =(.. Well, tonight I'll be filming the Talent Show and AHH math test first thing in the morning tomorrow. Grrrrr.. But I'll be done by 9:30 and Hoge's gonna come pick us up. Gah! Can't wait! The kids cheered me on for my game this weekend. =)

So the Talent Show was pretty good. Lotsa talent out there lol. Even Mr Milross showed us some of his ..guitar skills. Haha.. There was a wide range of music... From rock.... to jazz... to classic.. The korean breakdancing group performed too.. Troy, Jason, Dustin and Troy played Megalomaniac - Incubus.. I have never ever heard that song before, but I shall download it. =P... Well.. the pictures are up. I probably won't be blogging until I get back from Washington Sunday night. Until then.... adios..=P

1 more day and its Washington time!! =D...Hotel and everything's booked. Gah! can't wait! I had math all morning. =( Well... guess it wasn't so bad. I'm up to 81.3% which is good for me. As long as it remains in the 80s. The minute I sit down, Jeff pulls out his Davinci Code novel and Tuesday happened all over again. "Hey Jamie, have you read this book? It's good"... I looked at him.."Jeff.. you just said the exact same things you said to me yesterday"
The bulb in the overhead projector burnt out and we were checking our marks.

So Mr Huzyk goes "Ok you can check your mark. This bulb needs changing."
I look at him, "Yno what that means. We've been doing too much math. =P
" .............."Jamie wanna run downstairs and get me a new one?"
"...........ok"

Soccer once again at lunch. Mr Mahli was playing in goal. That was hilarious. He let 4 goals in easily! Haha, I was sitting there and he did this funny run. I sat there for a while trying to think why that was so familiar. He runs like an ostrich!! Then when he's back in goal, he swings his arm like a gorilla. Ah too funny. He was so light on his feet as well. Tippy toed like a fairy then kicks the ball.

The temperature's been pretty high the past 2 days. We're up to around 25 degrees during the day now. Really really hawwwt. Yea the short shorts and tanks really are out now [Lol David]. School wise, everything's pretty normal now that badminton season's over. =( Just one more tournament this weekend! Gonna make the best out of it. 3 days straight in Washinton playing super challenging people? I think it will be fun. I'll be playing mix doubles with Jensen and doubles with Sylvia. We get a tournament shirt just like at any other tournament and a Saturday night buffet included in the entry fee. Can't wait for that. =)

World Cup soccer at lunch today wasn't that great. Kinda boring. Mr McMurtry kept making bad calls still. Went to work and Mr Nguyen & Pocock came to visit. Got our pictures done and yea... pretty much it. Had to go in afterschool to pick up the laptop coz Nguyen needs me to finish the Fashion Show 06 editing. I wanted to make it look cool but nooOOooo he says all I have to do is chop up the clips accordingly and put them together, no music only at the intro and credit roll. The laptop's radiating all this heat in my room. Man.. hoo... so hot

[Black Knight Junior "B" Provincial Championships]

Ah, another tournament done. =) It's the last Badminton BC one so yea. It was worth the 45 bucks. I got my a pimpin' long sleeved shirt, got to play some challenging matches, got to watch some crazy people play, got to hang out with the crew. So where shall I start, yesterday's game, mix consoles and doubles. Hoge came to pick me up and we got Jensen and Grace on the way out. Had a lil problem with getting Ke-li a ride. He never asked us so we figured he had his own ride. When we got to Coquitlam we went to the mall to get something to eat before heading to the game. Each of us pitched in for a bucket meal.. comes with chicken.... wings... fries... potato salad... 2L pepsi..so it was a pretty good deal. I was so bloated after. We went to Sport Chek and Footlocker to look at shorts and Ts coz they wanna wear matching outfits for the Washington Open. Footlocker had some pretty cool plain T-shirts. 25 for 5.. which is pretty good. There are 5 of us [excluding Simon and Ingrid]. We walked around for a bit and there was a lady giving away free items for the Census......something... XD... I thought we had to do a survey or something and get the free stuff but nope. She was just giving away stuff. There were T-shirts, jar openers, frisbees, bracelets, pencils, waterbottles. Pretty snazzy. Lol we took a buncha stuff. Hogen loved his frisbee =P. On the way out, there were these Chiropractors doing free check ups. They checked Hogens muscle tension and stuff. The lady said he has a bad back. XD But it was pretty cool. They used this machine to check his muscle tension and it makes sense coz he plays badminton and one side is more tense than the other.

Tony: I don't know, I can't see it *tries to turn around to see back*

Ah that guy is hilarious. He brought a pillow to the gym coz we were complaining bout the bleachers being so uncomfortable and for Sylvia's back. He's just so ridiculously funny.

Went to Pinetree and finished off the mix. Jensen and I won all our games for consoles. So... overall, we came in 5th but in consoles we got 1st? Yea... omg, in our first game, I smashed the bird and it hit the girl in the face =SSS... I felt so bad!!! Her cheek was turning red!! lol... But yes, I get hit all the time XD. After that, doubles started... We had to play... ok I don't know who they are but I saw them at Yumo which means they're probably from Richmond. One of the girls looked so angry. There was one shot where Sylvia did a net shot and stuck her racket up to block the return. Like just raising her racket. I'm not sure if that's legal but the girl called it and started a very confusing explanation on why. We asked if it's legal after and everyone said yes. ...I think it was... Ashish who said as long as it doesn't affect their swinging then it's fine. Well that girl wasn't too happy. Another shot was, we cleared it and it landed in. They didn't see if it was in but took the point. The nicer girl felt bad so they decided to reserve. Hehe. Well we won that game. =P...I think after that we had to play Grace and Helen. =S Was kinda worried about that one. Eee...Well good news, we played til 3 sets, bad news, we lost. XD... First game..9-15?... Second... 17-14??? And then last was 7 or something. So close... but o well. So Grace and Helen got to play for 1st and 2nd while Sylvia and I played for 3rd and 4th which was played today. Lol both of us lost so..... the results.... 2nd and 4th. Still good~

Jensen and Derek had some pretty intense games. They didn't do so well but then again they haven't ever played together before and yea, some pretty tough competition. They had to play David and Ashish final rounds. Really intense game. Lotsa running, diving, falling. Well...they lost..but good game good game. Everything ended around...9-10ish and we were gonna go get food to eat. We were outside deciding on where to go when Tony comes and does this sound effect of a car skidding and crashing. XD O god... *eeeeuuurrrrggghhh dsh dsh dsh dsh* Starts crashing into everyone. Jensen was like OMG *runs after Tony and starts punching his pillow*..Tony's like ...Is it me or the pillow? XD omg....We finally decided on Red Robins cept we weren't sure where it was so Hogen drove around and Tony followed. Then we made a wrong turn and realized that the left turn was going back to Surrey so Hogen changed lanes and Tony thought we were ditching him or something. Lol to cheer Tony up, Hogen told the waitress that it was Tony's birthday and she said there's a suprise for him. XP Man Hogen was so hyper. Everything was so funny yesterday. We were all being so loud then Hogen was like ok let's see how long we can stay silent. The waitress comes back and goes... whoa... what's happening.. lol She was so nice. Then Hogen and Tony started doing weird hand gestures to each other. Ah...

Everytime I eat at Reds I get so amazingly bloated. There's something bout the food there. Sylvia and I shared a quesadilla, strawberry shake and bottomless freckled lemonade. Hogen and Jensen got chicken strips and bottomless fries and that's pretty much all they had and the bottomless coke. The lady was so nice. They only ordered one cup but she brought two for them. Hoge ate sooo much fries man. 8 baskets? More? And he wasn't even full. So at the end, the suprise was.......a chocolate sundae!! The Red Robins people made Tony stand on the chair and they sang him their special Happy Birthday song. Hilarious...

Omg... lol so close. Well today was finals. It wasn't as fun as yesterday but we played our games. Then headed to Pearls to talk for a while. Sylvia and I got 4th overall which is pretty good. Jensen and I, again, 5th over all, 1st in consoles. David and Ashish 5th and 1st in consoles. I got a BK towel and BK grips. So that's a pretty good prize. =P...At least I can use it unlike a medal..hahaha...Since David could only drive 4 people, we dumped our stuff in his car and walked. Jensen and I started walking while Grace and Sylvia returned his keys. A while later, Sylvia phones his cell and she's like where are you... *turns around*... We're right infront of you!! XD Man today was a really hot day. Really nice and sunny but man o man hawwwwt. Apparently tomorrow's gonna be 28 degrees..hooo.. time to bring out the shorts and tanks.

Hooo... Today was awesome. Ok well school wasn't that fun. Watched soccer with Brando, Diane and Sim. Brandon kept yelling at the players. SO LOUD. He's like "OMG YOU'RE AN EMBARASSMENT!".. I look at him "Brandon.. YOU'RE an embarrasment! Yelling so loud!" And he goes.. "I'm sorry..... I'll stop" *sob* lol. Yea omg people kept tripping over the ball and falling. Just.. o god.. Then then then.. Justin.. I think that's his name. He's this really big guy. He shoved this lil guy into the bleachers! Omg.. I wish I had caught that. Apparently he flew. XDDD So yea he got the red card. Then JT got a red card after for swearing at the teacher. Ah boy. It wasn't even his fault initially... Slade said to play on so he booted the ball and she called it and gave him a yellowcard then he swore. Lol.

Work was busy busy busy today. The kids had to finish off their Mothers' Day gifts as well as write their journals. Awww they're so adorable. A bunch of them did the sentence "I can see Jamie or I like Jamie". =D Oh ya, I went to get their hot lunch. When I came back to class, I was surrounded by applause. =) I feel special. Tee hee. So yea.. I had to cut up some paper, add a page to their homework books, stapled tea bags to their cards. Then I had to walk around and help them with their journal writing. Really fun. I think I enjoy the fact that it was rushed. Everything was going so fast. =P

Rushed home to eat and get ready to leave for my game. Hogen came to pick me up and we met Jensen at Scotia Bank. Omg I waited so long to play one game. Lmao... guess the wait was pretty fun. I said Sylvia mutilated the birdie last time and Jensen was like "Don't use big words." Ah man.....First game, Matt and Midori. They're ranked 2nd in the whole tournament! Well I was planning on playing uber hard that first game. And just.. man... woulda been so awesome if we had beaten them. We lost 15-11 15-10, which isn't bad seeing as how they're ranked 2nd. =S... Well... consols are tomorrow so hopefully we'll win something there. Man Jensen's gonna be playing every event tomorrow. O hey, the long sleeved Black Knight shirts looked pretty trippy. I wanted to get a bigger size so I asked the guy and he said it'd be no problem but I'd have to wait. So I waited... then I came back and he asked if I wanted to wear it for the game and said to come back. So I come back... and he's gone! So I asked the other dude that was in charge and he said I had to wait somemore. I waited.. and waited... and waited. At the end of the games, I go back and guess what.... concession stand's locked and the shirts are in there. Aii.. I wanted to wear it! After our games, we dropped by A&W to get some food then headed for home. Ah man, Tony's too funny. He's just naturally funny.. We were laughing so hard. XD He kept saying the most random things. I was kinda high at A&W.. I got me a... what are those called. Those lil.. milk... arg they have a name... Ok whatever they're called. CREAMERS.. That's it!.. Well, I kept flipping it. Then Sylvia got annoyed at it. XD But I continued, then Jensen got annoyed. He's like "Ok yno what.. no more...no more.." *takes it away*.. Aw =(.....Eee... I was sliding out of the lil booth thing and I hit my shin on this part of the chair that was... protruding out..Eck... That actually hurt quite a bit.

Hung around with Sylvia, Diane, Lily, Jimmy and Brandon this morning. Mr Wu comes by and goes "Sylvia................. no badminton?" Sylvia's like "What badminton? What badminton" Mr Wu: ".......no badminton.....NO BADMINTON" *walks away* Ah he's hilarious. Never woulda thought most of your friends could all be in the same physics classes. Both blocks of physics went to Playland today and the school felt... empty! I developed some photos for my Photo Essay. They didn't really turn out that well =S..Hung with Krissy at lunch. Andy came by every now and then to look at my drawings. Yea very eventless morning.

I had to prepare snacks and drinks for the Mothers' Day Open House while the kids rehearsed their songs. They were all so excited. So cute~ At 1:30, parents started to arrive and the kids got to show them their workbooks and scrapbooks. It was amazing. All the ones who are always so quiet, had HUGE voices. It's like all of a sudden you see the real them. They brought their parents around the class and showed them all their paintings and all. Then it was time for them to sing. They sang super loud as well. And.. all the kids who never really sang during class and practice, decided "hey, mom's here.. I should show her how well I can sing"...When it came to the last song, some tears were shed but lotsa smiles. =)....They had their snack and punch and got to show their parents around the school and that was it. Another school day over...

Joey had to do a math assignment on Perimeter out of FrootLoops. Pepper loved it. Now she can say that her dog really did eat her homework.

Math was actually pretty fun today. Sitting right infront of Mr Huzyk.. in a way makes it more interesting...? Well we're doing Circle Properties now and Huzyk said to "Go Wild" when finding angles [a.k.a...just find any angle]. So he was explaining a question and he was like "Ok.....just go wild and find any angle." A few minutes later he goes back to the angle he found and goes "Hey... where did this come from"....Jeff goes "You went wild and found it remember" Lmao...ah that's too funny.

Watched World Cup Soccer again. Beano's team played today....Sierra Leone? Ok well sky blue team haha. It was the ultimate team man...Brandon, Jethro, Colin, Justin. That first game was awesome. They won 3-1 and like 5 minutes into the game, Brandon scores a goal!! With his head! Lol with his head!! Very cool...Mr McMurtry kept calling fouls and stuff.. Didn't get why but everyone was boo-ing. Later on, he played and he's just as bad as the students. I think he was checking Baldeep and then McMurtry backed up and tried to trip him! Mr Slade didn't call it but they called all the accidents. Colin got a yellowcard for accidentally tripping someone. Ah well first game was good. Second.. not so much. It was scary sitting down there. Lmao everytime Keith got the ball, Diane would hide behind me. XD

So tomorrow the kindergarteners' moms/aunts/grandmoms/nannies are gonna come for the Mothers' Day presentation. Sho cute. They have songs their prepared. I swear... when you hear those songs over and over everyday, it gets stuck in your head. Today they finished more Mothers' Day gifts. Mr's Rovtar told me that I'm gonna miss their fieldtrip!!! =(!! They're going to the Vancouver Aquarium! Lol so today they made these teapot booklets with lil foam shapes. This lil guy went crazy and covered the entire teapot with shapes. He put so many that it got stuck onto the table and I had no where to staple the pages together. XP

Ahhhhh Muse's new CD comes out in July. I just downloaded their single. O god... I can't wait for it.

Watched World Cup Soccer at school today. Didn't get to yesterday coz I had to work on the Fashion Show DVD for Mr Nguyen. Twas pretty fun. There were penalty shots and BOTH times, Ricky misses the net. In the second half, Mr Fabiano played. Ah that was hilarious. This grade 8...9... 10... guy, he accidentally bumped into Fab and he fell! That was so bad.

There wasn't much to do at Erma today. I had to finish painting their hands coz their Mothers' Day placemats are gonna be laminated. Well, I got paint all over me again. After I did that, just had to stick their photos on. Then had to cut some paper into strips for their cards. On Thursday they're gonna have parents and stuff coming in to watch them sing their Mothers' Day songs. I was in the copier room and I could hear them from alllll the way down the hall. Ah man... Now that badminton season is over, it feels different. Even though I'm still playing tournaments. No badminton at lunch or afterschool sucks. Maybe I'll talk to Mr Nguyen to see if we can get after school gym time. He said he would. Oo yea, I still have to figure out when we can have his badminton party too. Everyone's so busy. Well, hopefully we'll get one practice day before this weekend's tournament. Eeee.. Hmm Seaquam has some club and it's open tmr for drop in. But it's 5 bucks and it only starts at 8. That's a horrible time and 5 bucks?! And Nina was saying that she's taking lessons at Cleartwo. 72 bucks for 8 sessions? Apparently that's cheaper than clubs like VRC. Maybe in the summer we'll get a group together.

Diane, Lily and Krissy came to pick me up yesterday. When I opened the door, the first thing I saw was Diane holding a sign that said "Hi =)". XD Ah that was priceless. She talked too much at the Frasers and now she's lost her voice. Shoulda recorded her yelling down the phone at Brandon. That was too funny.

O boy.. so the entire day she communicated with us through that Magna Doodle board. XD We had lotsa food. Mm and lasagne for dinner. =P..Watched Flightplan, Boogeyman and Saw. And the entire time, Lily's dad was watching with us. Too funny.. part way through the movie when it's scary and all of us are hiding behind sheets you hear Lily's dad talking to Pudding. O man..Flightplan was weird... Makes you think one way.. then turns out different. So I guess it was good. Now Boogeyman.. was.. really stupid. The first bit of the movie, you're scared coz you don't know what it is the guy's afraid of. Then they show the "boogeyman" and omg.. it's so stupid. It's just some skeleton that sucks people into closets. Now Saw... that was pretty freaky. It wasn't scary.. but it was really disturbing but at the same time, very smart. It's bout this dude that has cancer and he can't stand how people are ungrateful to be alive and so he puts them in these life or death situations and they have to find a way out. Like.. this doctor and photographer were put in the same room and chained to opposite sides. The Dr's task was to kill the other guy. But then at the end of it, there's this twist. You think there's one bad guy. But really, the bad guy's working for ANOTHER guy and is only doing this coz he wants to save his life. Spooky...

I'll be heading to badminton in a bit. Jensen said we should play adults on Sundays. That way we'll get better. And we're gonna be playing the WA Open tournament against most probably adults week after next. Too bad our lunch time practices are over =( So it's probably gonna be:

Ah... man... Today was awesome. It started off with... me tossing and turning in bed at 7 in the morning. By 7:45 I was tired of tossing so I phoned Hoge. He got me to be his alarm clock. Lol....

I got ready.. then went outside to wait for him to come pick me up. Then we went to Timmy's for breakfast. He gots me a bagel with cream cheese and I split it with him. We were actually early. Had to wait for a bit for David and Noog to come. Omg.. Dave, Jensen, Ke-li, Alex and Corey went to the rec this morning. Value gym from 6 to 9. So it was me, Jensen, Ke-li and Lily in Hoge's car. He was trying to beat David to Sullivan. But David was there before us even tho he left later! Jensen was so tired that he fell asleep on the way and at first we thought he was fooling around. But when we got off the car, he wouldn't move. We were like "Jensen.....Jensen?.....Jensen! Wake up!".. I knocked on the window and he still didn't get up. I had to poke him. Lol then he went all cranky. I love Sullivan's small gym. The floor is so rubbery...Nice and grippy. So Sylvia put up the posters I made of Jensen. Lmao.. she pasted them in the small gym and on the walls and on the doors of the change rooms [Ahem.. some PT or MR people ripped it up and threw it in the garbage! I mean.. clearly... some people are jealous.. lol] Our first match...*cough*... Jensen and Jamie [FH] versus Ke-li and Lily [FH]. Ugh we agreed to a friendly game 15-13 15-13. But nope... had to work our butts off in our first match. Lmao, Ke-li returned the bird to our side and as I turned around he hit it, and it bounced on Jensen's head. Right smack in the middle. XD My parents and sis came by during that game. O man it was so warm in the gyms. Nice day for a day at the beach.. but badminton in a stuffy gym with so many people. Ohh no...

We played...hmm. which school was it.. Pinetree... the people we played in semi-finals before.. and.. Port Moody. It was basically Lower Fraser Valleys all over again. No crazy Maple Ridge players like last year. Yea that was fun. So Jensen and I got first =P...Troooophies.. Ooo yea they gave us our trophies from Surreys too. First in Mix, second in doubles.

There was this guy watching the game. And all of a sudden he starts talking to me. I thought it was cool... so we talked bout our games and I asked what he played and how come he wasn't playing today. But... he kept talking.. and talking.. and talking. It wouldn't stop.. He had like.. a motor mouth. I sat there with nothing to say back to him.

It was nice having all our regular people back. JH peeps, Semi, FVC, Seaquam....I supppppose Pinetree [David you traitor!] Yea..Nina got our pants. O-em-jee.. So she's taking out the pants and she's like.."Alex...Browny...J.Pho..." ..."Nina... J.Pho?..." "Yea J.Pho".. "Nina it's POH"..."OMG I'M SO SORRY"... Yea... O well... Maybe it's a sign. XD Well, I'm gonna try to fix it. At least it's the right way this time. Apparently the guy who did it before, did it again. Sylvia's like.. "Ok.. so you're not Poh-ness anymore... You're Pho-ness."...O god...

Singles started around 12. Jensen won everything until he got to Matt. O man.. that game was intense. He won one set.. Matt won one set.. Then.... 3rd set.. They got to 10-10 and Matt set it up one point. ONE point! Bam..11-10 for Matt. It was SOOOOO close. Poor Jensen.. One point! He was THAT close. Well....next year, Jensen's gonna pwn. After that, he had to play some white guy. He was SO annoying. O yea, Ke-li, Alex and I went to get drinks and then they wanted to borrow money from me. So I asked them why and they said they wanted to get Jensen a drink. I was like awww that's so sweet. So yea...they wanted to get him a drink...with my money. He deserved it. So yea, he played this annoying white guy. At first he was playing all meh. But he wanted to go watch Simon and Matt play their singles match and finish his own. But after every point Jensen got, he'd walk around the court and take his time. It was so frustrating! Jensen got so annoyed. It was hilarious. After every rally, he turns around and goes FRIIIIIIICK at us. OH OH OH he did the between the legs net shot with that dude. Pretty crazy. After that one.. he played... Pat from Semi I think. Those two were just fooling around. They were sitting down and playing.

Came down to doubles. Sylvia and I played these centennial people.. Omg.. I don't know what it was.. Maybe during mix they didn't turnt he vents on but the birds were going wobbly. Well we won that game.. then played....Lily and Diane omg.. Then Wanda and Angela.. Ugh.. That was horrible. Well... we got 2nd. =P..Tee hee. Dayumn Sylv we shoulda taken pics together with our trophies.

I met this dude, Tony today. He's friends with Hoge and stuff and they're thinking of entering this US Open tournament down in Washington. Ohhh man that'd be so awesome. Me, Hoge, Tony, Sylvia, Jensen, David... maybe Grace.. and like.. Simon...his gf, I don't know her name. And there's a buffet and it's a weekend thing...so it's like....Friday drive down there.. play our games.. stay 2 nights... play badminton all weekend. And it's open too. Lotsa competition. Ho man...

[Bothwell Fun Night]

Hoo... Temperature reached 21 degrees out today. Reeeeeally hawt~! We had practice at lunch.. that was..meh....It was really stuffy in the gym. I have a feeling tomorrow's gonna be like that. Eee that ain't good. So today was pull-back day, which meant, no work. We had to go to SS and talk about our experiences. Mr Nguyen made us sit in a circle and do a lil discussion. Lol.. "Hi my name is Jamie, I work at Erma Stephenson with kindergarteners. The thing I will remember is that I could talk to my teacher as if she were a co-worker/collegue and not as a student-teacher kinda thing" We got the gym after school as well. But man o man o man. It was so hot. It was just me, Sylv, Alex and Jensen. We played doubles and omg Jensen went looney. It was so weird! Near the end, Julian came by and we were going to Timmy's for Iced Capps.. Tim's got new flavours in their iced capps. I had hazelnut.. Icky... wasn't that great... On the way there, Jensen was just like.."...ooOOooo.. window!....AH! haaaaaaa" He was so high.. It was continuous laughter at any and everything.

When I got home, I uploaded my pics and Brandon phones.."Hey.. you free? Meet me at Bothwell... we're going to the fair."......So yea, Jo and I went to Bothwell's Fun Night and hung with Jim and Brando. He said to meet him out front at the flagpole.. We get there... and is he at the flagpole? NoooOOooo...Twas fun.. sorta.. lol.. I think Erma's fairs have more..stuff..Found Brandon and Jim in the library buying raffle tickets. He got 12 tickets! But nope... didn't get picked. Bumped into Camy and Cory every now and then. I think I can tell them apart now. We were looking at their class photos and omg Brandon looked just like what his bros look like now! That's so crazy.. exactly the same.

We went outside, played hacky sack for a bit.. talked.. Jimmy climbed into the bball hoop thingamajig lol. Got lotsa stares. Oh oh oh, we played Bingo. Joey was 1 number away from winning! But nope.. someone else got it. Mm.. we got candy bags...and Beano got this pencil crayon with lotsa colours so he gave it to me =P

Ah yea, at 9 we went outside to wait for Brandon's mom. Got eaten up my mosquitoes. Lol Brandon was just jumping all over the place coz the mozzys were everywhere. Ah, I'm so pumped right now. After all these lil school events. We headed back to Brandon's. Since Jimbo had his bike, we chased him back to Brandon's lol...no.. Next up, Country Fair! Hmm... and yea tomorrow.. Frasers..Meeeeep. Now I'm gettin nervous. Prob won't be able to sleep tonight =P Can't wait!

Ah.. math test first thing in the morning. Well... I did ok.. =P.. Apparently the average was so low Mr H had to raise it. It raised my average mark to a pretty darn good one too. 90%..

My lunch hour was sah-ohhhhhh boring. An hour of doing literally nothing. Never liked Wednesdays... Math all day, no badminton, nothing.....I was contemplating on going to the meet and expert. It was animation and stuff like that.. but... all anime. Jayd came to do the presentation. O man.. I saw her work. She got a comic book published and stuff. Pretty cool. So... work... I got to do lotsa cutting and painting. =P... Today I painted their hands green and they stamped their Mothers' Day placemats. Icky business.. I had paint all over my hands. The cutting took me the entire time I was there and even when school was over, I still hadn't finished cutting. When the bell rang, I sat there and continued cutting these.. lil... kettles and I had to cut the handle part which made it so much harder.... 44 sheets. One of the girls came back to class and as she passes me she said hi and bye. Mrs R didn't know I was still cutting and she ran to me "JAMIE..What are you still doing here?! Get out.. Go enjoy the sun!"... lol..

I went back to school to watch the Grade 8 badminton surrey championships. Woooot. We got the banner... First in guys doubles [Adam and Steve], first in girls doubles [Jamie and Judy]. Ain't that awesome? Jensen and I played Waina and Clarence in mix. Next year's gonna be so awesome. There was this coach [I think she's the one who told us not to get in the way in grade 8 even though we weren't in the way, just getting up to go watch other games.. She was telling FH students, at our own school what to do].. She kept telling us to stop disrupting the games? We were watching.. She was after us. After Jamie and Judy played their game, Jensen went to coach them coz we usually do that inbetween our games. Ms Piercy saw him walking towards them and didn't say anything. So we figured it was ok. Then that coach comes up to us and tells us we can't talk to the players. Later on Ms Piercy said we couldn't. =T... But still, she picked on us like.. wherever we were. She'd sit there, watch the games between FH and her school and pick on our players faults but not her own. Yea.. I think she's the same person who picked on us when we were in grade 8. XD Sandy and I went upstairs to talk to Mr Nguyen in the weight room. "Mr Nguuuuyeeen? Where are you?" *silence*. Then we walk up to the benches and he's SLEEPING! I was like "ah Mr Nguyen, I know what you do up here now" =P He goes "I'm stretching my back...."

Well, change in plans for our game on Friday. It's not at Maple Ridge but Sullivan Heights. Guess that's better. Arg, still wish they coulda booked the gym for Thursday though.

GAH... I finally watched the POTC II trailer... Aww I won't be able to watch it with Sylv and everyone.

We had early dismissal today...well, didn't make much difference to me, just I had an extra half hour to wait. Went to the gym at lunch to see if we had practice. Mr Slade took our gym space! =(... I hung with Sylvia for a bit then she left for work. Watched Jensen and Ke-li.. Talked to Brad.. He said juniors have their Surreys singles today. Our seasons almost over! And theirs just started! Jensen did his wacky 360 smash again. I don't think I mentioned that he did it at the rec...did I.... Well that's what the video was but I found out that some people can't see it. It requires flash 8 or something. Yea.. so awesome...

I sat outside infront of school after lunch and waited for time to pass. Sim came out to talk to me.. I saw a butterfly...lol I think if anyone saw me, they woulda thought I was crazy or something... chasing a butterly in the school parking lot. mm..the dandelions are so pretty tho...

I'm starting to get a lil more stuff to do. Today I had to stick all their dinosaur pictures into their scrapbooks. O man.. the dust was making my nose go funky. And after going through all 22 books, I had glitter all over me. After that, I helped them with their painting and yea. Took some pictures. At first I wasn't sure if I was allowed to but then Mrs R asked if I wanted them to sit together. Tmr, I get to paint their hands coz they're making little mothers' day placemats.
