Ah we got back to the good ol' days yesterday. I don't remember when our last all girls sleepover was. New Years?! I remember we had a movie night at my place and we watched Schindler's List with Sylv. Maybe that was the most recent.

Lily had already slept over at Krissy's on Sunday night. I don't think those two got much sleep. When I got there they were playing Final Fantasy as usual. Diane, Brian, Darren and Hogen came after. I haven't seen Hoge in ages! I think since we went to watch fireworks [yea Brian I'll try to remember to post them fireworks pictures]. We hung around for a bit then went down to Nester's to pick up sprite and apple juice. I think it's gonna be a must have at all our all-nighters now. This time the juice tasted kinda weird though. I poured it into my Jones bottle. Hehehe, it looked like beer!!

We went up stairs to play some pool. It was burning up there and there were no fans around the house [I don't know how you survive Krissy!]. Pool's another thing I haven't played in a while. It felt awkward holding the cue stick! I think the last time we played was.... a year ago... last summer during our badminton season. Crazy eh! I remember going to the pool place after badminton and Mac Ds. Ah good times good times. Wasn't much we could do. Went online and Hoge was showing us a buncha videos and he was talking to my friends on msn. *eye roll* lol. Darren had already left and Brian left shortly after. It was just Hoge and us girls. Whatta lucky guy eh? The rest of the afternoon we just hung out in the living room. Got caught up on all the current events. =P

We had pizza for dinner. This time we changed around the toppings. We had a meat lovers, a vegetarian and... I don't even knowwhat the last one was. Lily, Diane and I went out for a walk after around 8 coz it was just boiling inside. We went out to Fraser Woods to take a buncha pictures. Lmao they were posing on the rocks when Chad comes by. We talked to him for a bit then he went off with his own plans. It was quite dark by then and the mosquitoes were out to get us. By 9 Hoge had to go and it was back to just us 4. We went outside to light up some sparklers that Lily had.

Krissy's dad's so funny. I think most of the time the reaction you'd get would be "WHAT... fire?!"

Our night was spent doing the usual; chit chat, MSN-ing, webcamming, getting high on sprite and apple juice.=P We didn't have any candy! O we had chips and froot loops though. Krissy's mom knew my favourite flavour!!! =D Sour cream and onion. We talked late into the night. Krissy and Lily were already long gone into deep sleep. SOOO.. Diane and I decided to draw on them. XD Lily could feel the pen tip on her leg. Krissy couldn't though. Haha she found out this morning. Both Diane and I had smiley faces drawn with highlighter on our knees. XD

This morning we had to head out to school... SCHOOL.. at 8 in the morning for course changes. They had to make appointments with the counsellors. Urg.. we were the only people there. Well... David, Wanta, Jensen, and Jane were there. Well Krissy and Lily couldn't get their appointments coz their changes weren't important enough so... we went back to Krissy's and back to bed. =] I got so many calls. 3 calls in the same hour. First my mom.. then David asking what we were doing. Then David again telling me to go outside coz he's waving at me. At first I didn't believe him. I thought he was trying to make me get up and go outside like some...fool. Well.. lol he was infact outside, along with Alice, Julian, Jensen and Jane. So we talked to them for a while before my mom came to pick me up.

The weather's so wacky again. Last night it was uber hot. Today it's cooled down. Quite nice out actually.

Jo and I had to take the dogs out early today coz we were gonna be out for dinner. At 3 in the afternoon, under the scorching sun, we set off for the waterpark. Ugh. I ran. We were at Erma and I saw Brian... so I figured everyone else would be there too. And they were! lol.. Hung around with them for a while. Jane brought her little brother. He's only 2 years old!! Ah he had fun chasing Kiki around with the watergun. When we got back it was just past 4 and we had to leave right away. I made ice milos to go haha and stuffed a buncha snacks into my bag. My dad said I pretty much had dinner in my purse.

Uncle Richard's house is so crazy! It's HUGE. Well.... only half the house is theirs. But it's so cool! It's like split right down the middle. All the houses up there look like chalets. They have nice porches with stairs and everything. The garage is in the basement coz the house is so high up. So the reason we were out for this dinner was coz this lady's daughter goes to Emily Carr and my parents wanted to talk to them bout it. Ah it sounds so cool.. I can't wait. Mmm dinner was quite yummy.. lol.. Pizza.. noodles.. curly fries.. and lemonade. What a combination eh? I brought Joey and Zoey out to the park down by the elementary school after. One bad thing about living in Coquitlam? The hills and windy roads! People up there drive so fast too! We were out there for about a half hour then headed back up. Zoey was hyper as usual.

I thought it'd never happen, but Playland called me this morning! =(... Ah why must so many things happen on the same day. We had originally planned a sleepover....I finally get work...and then the dinner which I had to be at of all the days. Well sleepover's been moved to tomorrow. Ah finally a girls' night. Haven't had one of those in ages.

Planned to bus down to Playland with Brian, Jensen, Jane, Diane.. etc.. Originally it was supposed to be a combined birthday party for Connie and Brian [Happy Birthday btw you two]. But plans changed. I ended up getting a ride with Beano and his uncle, cousin and brothers then met up with the rest later. We got our tickets from Safeway. It's soooo expensive if you get tickets for everything. In order for you to go on rides as well as the fair, you gotta pay about 50 bucks at the door. It's 10 bucks cheaper at Safeway. But still a honking 40 dollars. B and I ended up getting fair tickets so no rides included. It was just less than 20 dollars between us both. The tickets are crazy. They're scanner cards. We didn't get to keep em! =( Not even a handstamp! When we got there, we split. We walked down the strip where all the games were and Beano played a couple. What better way to blow all your change? The cheaper games are so hard to win at and the prizes are crap. The more expensive games are a definate win but 5 bucks to shoot 3 darts and win a hat made out of felt? There was a chicken hat. But that woulda costed about 10 bucks to shoot darts. With that 10 I could get a nicer hat at the market a walk down.

It took us a while to figure out where exactly the fair was. There was a long road leading to the coliseum and agrodome. We just kept walking. Brandon didn't understand why we couldn't pick a destination and just go straight there. We ended up at the agrodome for the horse show...heh 45 minutes early. That session they did cattle penning. They had these cows with numbers on them and in groups of threes they were given a number and had to pick out those cows and get them in a pen on the other side. Some of them were quite good. One team in the youth division got the best time. 39 second or something like that. Ah what they do is they run into the cow, scream at it and hope it runs in the right direction. XD There was a girl just.... screaming the entire time. The cow was probably giggling on the inside. I know I was. =P

After that we went to the coliseum for the dog show. That one was crowded. We had to get a spot wayyy up high. It was so dark in there too! Felt like I was gonna slip and just roll down. What they had was basically a buncha hurdles and they raced. We caught the first bit of the dogs catching frisbees but the motorcross championships were starting. We met up with Brandon's uncle and stuff. Those people are crazy! They had a huge pile of... lol dirt in the middle and all these bikers going up ramps doing crazy things in mid air. Some of them were quite frightening. There's one.. the like.. superman... and. indian...something. Lol.. They actually let go of the bike for a while in mid air. Scares me.. Makes me feel like they could just fall any second. We split again after that. Went to look for Jensen, Jane and Brian and had some lunch. After that we split once again. B and I went back to the fair coz there were sooo many things we missed. We went to the Safeway Farm Country Barn. There were a buncha farm animals on display there. Horses, cows, sheep, goat, chicken, rabbits, pigs... etc....children. Yea they actually had a pen for kids. It was full of hay and kids could just.. run around and go crazy in there. Monkeys can't really be catergorized as farm animals though. I stood up on the gate to take a picture and Brandon goes "Jme! That's not an exhibit!"

Hrrmmm..where did we go next. We went... in search of the Art Cars. They had 3 different vehicles... a car, a van and a truck on display. All 3 were painted with maaany different colours. We signed a book and each got a cup of paint so we paint whatever we wanted on the cars. I wonder if they use the same cars every year. It looked like there was just layers and layers of paint on it. People just paint right over whatever you paint. But it was quite fun. I got orange paint alll over my hand. Unbelievable... I was worse than the little kids there.

We never found the art on the street but along the way we popped into the market. It looked like one of those trades fairs. Lotsa home cleaning equipment and stuff. There was a lady there doing henna tattoos. But 15 dollars for one? Nuh uh. We stepped into this Home Improvement Showcase and got fudge [I know those two have nothing to do with each other whatsoever... but there was a fudge bar in there]. Mmm peanut butter chocolate. We only got half a piece and it sat in our stomachs like a rock. Sooo good. Washed it down with rootbeer. Mmm. By that time I think we pretty much saw everything. We went back into the coliseum to look for the Taiwan lanterns but never found them so we watched the dog show again. It was different though. This time they had relays and high jump. There was this dog. Apparently a very high jumper who starred in a movie. Daniel and the superdogs? Something lke that. Joey said she watched it in french. Well that superstar show dog was there giving autographs.

We met the rest outside late on and...yes.. that was my day. Gr I should have taken more pictures. My camera batteries were dying and I forgot to bring the spare battery.

Zoey came over this morning. All of us went blueberry picking at Krauss's Berry farm to pick blueberries. It seems my dad loves blueberries now. We filled about.. Mmm.. 3 and a half buckets? Something like that. Zoey and Joey were running all over with their buckets. I pulled them up and down the bushes in one of the little wagons we picked up at the front. Zoey was sugar high. She brought with her, nerds and gum and was singing "The Wheels on the Bus" for the longest time. Funny... there were these 2 boys down from us, they started singing too. We made friends with them. We were at one end , they were at the other. And we exchanged loon calls. Haha. After berry picking we stopped for lunch at A&W. I had the mozza burger. It was kinda gross.. The cheese. Lol. Autumn's here! On Monday it was pretty hot. Today the temperature dropped below 20 degrees. Pretty nice actually.

So yea, I don't have a picture of Zoey yet coz she's quite camera shy. My phone's taken over the job of my camera when it comes to taking quick snapshots. With 512MB of memory card space and the pictures being 640 by 480, I think I can store lotsa pics =).

Beano came over yesterday. We were downstairs watching Highschool Musical and playing with the tablet. Brandon was so amused by it. After, we met everyone at the waterpark. Our whole badminton gang. Lol I brought some of the bubble stuff out. Everyone's so amused by it. It's hilarious. I blew 3 up on the walk there. Joey and Brandon had to hold them. When we got there a couple flew away with the wind. Adam and Julian both ran after them. Ahh.. I blew on up for Dustin and he accidentally let go of it. He went running... didn't see where he was going and almost ran into Julian's butt. XD Pretty much everyone was wet by then.. All cept David. Lol All the guys ganged up to get him wet. Jensen, Brandon and Adam chased him down the field barefooted. But man that guy can run. He was cutting corners and everything. It took them forever to catch him. Well David got soaked haha. I have the video on my phone. I don't know how to get it out of the phone =S! I hooked it up but it only allowed me to transfer the pictures. Well until I figure that out....Brandon picked me up and faced me riiight at the sprays. O god the water is freezing. Not to mention the chill the wind brings after.

Later on, B, Dustin, Jo and I were supposed to get pizza. But CoCo's was closed for renovation. We filled up on donuts and an iced capp. Brandon had Pho and both him and Dustin had 2 huge cups of slush. Jo and I picked up some Terriyaki chicken and rice from Chesters for dinner. Lol they use deep fried batter chicken strips and pour extremely salty terriyaki sauce on it. It's not bad though. All of us got back to watch Spirited Away. That's sucha weird movie. Miyazaki's crazy. I love all his movies.

Today we were supposed to go blueberry picking. But I guess the place wasn't open. We ended up going down to Guildford to pick Joey up a new brake for her blades. She's completely worn hers out. It's down to the screw. Well they didn't have one that fit. They gave us one that's meant for another set. My dad scratched it down so it'd fit. She was making tracks all over the road. After that we stopped by Superstore to settle our bank accounts. It's so confusing! @_@~!

Jo and I went for a nice long walk, came home and made the biggest strawberry banana smoothies ever. Now I'm stuffed....but happy. =)

Uncle SH and family came over for dinner today. Jo and I met Brandon earlier at the waterpark for a bit. Then we walked the dogs. Ah it's so hot out. My mom said we got darker again. Is that even possible!? Joey had a craving for pizza. But I told her she'd get fat. So then... she said she wanted ice cream.. Lol Brandon ended up getting her Timbits. Eh same thing! She got her raspberry centered, icing sugar covered timbits, Beano got his sour cream glazed and I got honey dip.

DY's so much more open now. He'll run all over the place, point at things...He can say, duck, truck, car, bus, banana [anananana]..And he's afraid of Kiki. He was pretty amused by the sound my phone made when I took a picture. Ah so cute~

...the only scary thing about Playland is not knowing when the screws are gonna give way...
..On the bus | Beano and I, lost | A very angry B | Food at last | Ice cream! | EC | EC | Blowing bubbles..

I had to drop a sheet off at Playland. My dad didn't wanna drive me, neither did my mom. So they told me to go find someone to go with me down there by bus and check out the lines and stuff. I brought Beano along and we spent the entire day out. I thought just going to Playland and back was a waste of a trip... SO... I found directions to Granville Island.

Urg, travelling by bus here is... well I guess it's alright. But grr.. if you knew the roads, it'd be so much easier to drive. Well my parents dropped us off at the skytrain station and from there we went to Joyce and from there took another bus. The right bus was there... cept.. there was no driver! I got worried for a second. Then I figured.. ok he's on his .. break.. and he'll be back. I think Brandon got a little worried too. Lol. Then this big guy wearing a vest comes by. I was like.. That's him.. and Brandon's like.. how do you know?.... Well.. he looks like a bus driver... Don'tcha think?...Hehe. Well he was!! Hah! We were just a tad bit behind schedule =S. And guess what.. I know the stop we were supposed to stop at wasn't the closest. But I didn't think it was THAT far. We had to walk quite a bit. Now I gotta figure out which stop is which and ah.. find another route. Urg. All that to drop off ONE form. Beano and I walked along the back and looked up at the wooden coaster. The wood that holds it up is actually quite... thin. It's like.. wow.. the thing is actually still standing after all these years.

Next stop, Granville. Because I didn't wanna get lost, I planned out my route and had all the sheets printed out. Time of travel... name of bus...which stop to stop at. So #10 Granville comes by. And one would think.. Obviously a bus with the word Granville on it will take you to Granville.. Duhh.. But what if it didn't!!??! I made us wait for the 135 Burrard to come. Brandon didn't understand why I did that. haha. Next... we missed the stop we were supposed to get off at. >=(.. Hmmph. Both of us sat in there while everyone got off. Then the bus driver went... This is my last stop. I was like WHAAAT!? Where's Granvile Island!! I don't see it!! So Beano and I walked up and down the street.. looking for a stop where this other bus will stop at. When we finally got on the bus, I thought.. phew.. ok.. we're good. Now we just gotta sit and when we pass Granville we'll get off. Oh but nooOoooo.. It gets even more confusing. We see Granville Island.. and on the map it tells you you gotta walk a distance to get there. I wasn't sure.. Lucky for us the guy sitting infront was listening to our conversation and told us we don't get off. Lol. Ah what would we have done without him. Probably walked a lot. =P

I think by that time, Brandon was starving. We walked through the market to find us some lunch. Exxxxxpensive. One slice of pizza.. 5 bucks. Brandon's meal cost him 12$ in all I think. He had fish and chips [which was pretty good actually.], clam chowder [I kept telling him I hated fish.. or anything that had to do with fish], cookies.. coffee.. a fruit shake [It tasted horrible. Orange juice, coconut milk, banana ginger. ICK. It was spicy! And gross!]. We sat outside in the courtyard where all the pigeons were. There was a guy playing his guitar. Pretty good. He sang King Louis' song from Jungle Book. Brandon disappeared for a while. I thought he went to look for a bathroom seeing as how he had SO much water. He came back with 2 scoops of ice cream. Chocolate hazelnut and eww coconut. First the ginger shake and then the coconut ice cream.

We couldn't go into any of the stores coz of the ice cream. So we sat outside Emily Carr and watched people walk by. EC really looks like a prison or something. Brandon's like.. what.. this is Emily Carr? We were gonna go in. But after eating all the ice cream, we skipped it and went into Opus. I still had 10 bucks from the time I won [it] in the library art contest. I spent it all. There were sketchbooks everywhere and B wanted me to get one. But I figure.. I have so many at home. Hmm come to think about it, I had 2 new ones. But I don't remember where they are! =(! Gotta go find them tomorrow. I ended up getting a couple of pens. Beano got one too. And he got a set of scratch pads. We went up on a big grassy hill, laid there and drew. After that we went into the kids place [lol Brandon used the "Kid's Door". It's this mini door for little people. So cute]. On the way back, Beano was blowing the bubble thing we got him from Singapore. I thought it'd fly away with the wind. It just kinda.. rolled on the ground and eventually got stepped on. Lol this lady saw him blowing on and she was so amazed. She was like WOW... What is that? It's very cool. Wow... that's pretty crazy eh. We usually have kids around they'd get a knock outta that. Brandon ended up giving her the bubble. Lmao.. You see this old lady walking through the market with a bubble that doesn't pop. Pretty amusing watching her enter the market.

Ride back wasn't bad at all. Smooooth sailing. So yes..that was my long day. My knees hurt now. Oo but I got my phone! It's so cool! I tried uploading music in it, but it didn't work =(.. Gonna figure it out tomorrow.

Went over to Beano's today. Him and Cory were outside playing soccer. I brought Sylvia's DVDs over to watch. She lent me Identity and Max [both with John Cusack] coz I told her I didn't like him. So we hung out. After the movie, Dustin and Doug came over with their boxing gloves. They were gonna beat each other up. All of us went outside and played football then watched Dustin and Doug throw some punches. We sat around in the kitchen drinking water and chewing gum. Lol.. They had their guy talk going on. I don't get it XD But I guess they don't get girl talk either.

Brandon had to fix up a bed frame so the guys helped him get the stuff outta the shed. On the way there we bumped into his grandad. He makes wine... outta black berries! Pretty crazy. So the guys pulled out the metal rods and brought it inside. I don't think they needed it in the end. lol.

When I came back, I was getting something off my shelf. Then.. I realized...there's a phone in my room!... again!.. lol.. We got new phones and this one has some crazy intercom thing. It's got everything. Now... whenever I need to be called for dinner, my mom will click on Jamie and ...*ring ring*... hehe.. We get lazier and lazier =P..So yea.. that was my day. We're gonna go walk the dogs now.

At long last, Ipoh pictures are up. They're kinda scattered though.

My alarm rang for 7. Felt just like a school day! Well once my alarm went off, Kiki got up. Once I peaked over the edge of my bed, she saw me.. then got all hyper. So I had to go down and let her outside. All of us, even Pepper, left for Playland. We weren't sure if those two [Pepper and Kiki] would get along so we brought him. Later on, they were left home alone.

I was a half hour early for that orientation. There was only one other person! There were about 15 of us after. So the guy basically went through rules and regulations.. uniform.. etc. He showed us around the park and I guess if I get a call, then I gotta work. If not..then.. I'll be hired next year I guess. We passed by a Mac Ds on the way back. "Now Hiring for Fall!".. Haha.. I should check that out. My dad wants me to work at Nesters by our house. That wouldn't be bad either.

So my thingy ended at...10:15.. 45 minutes early. I had to wait for so long. And we didn't have our cells yet. Went downtown to get them after Playland. lol.. We sat there for the longest time deciding the plan. Both me and my mom got a phone and we have shared minutes since she doesn't really use the phone a lot. The only person calling her would probably be me. lol. I gots me a Sony Ericsson W810i. Ah too cool. It's so crazy lookin and it's got a trippy camera on the back and music. Muahahaha. CEPT.. =(... They had no stock.. so I have this big fat ugly Nokia. It's better than the one we had before but o god. I'm gonna be heading over to Sylvia's in a bit and my mom asked if I wanted to bring her phone lmao. It's free callind and text msging for the first 3 months. Woot. Free calling on weekends. Probably not as good a deal as something you would get in Singapore but.. .good enough for me. 150 minutes. This morning I was carrying a big walkie talkie... now I am carrying a fat ugly Nokia... in a while I'll be carry a not so big fat and ugly Nokia.. in a few days I'll be carrying my b-e-a-utiful Ericsson. So after we got the plans we headed for Superstore to open me a savings account. Muahah. We picked Jo Jo up from camp and headed back to rest. Ah my feet. I forgot to bring my shades out and I had no hat! I had to squint all day!

When we got home, Pepper greeted us as usual. Kiki... was no where to be seen ... or heard. When my mom got to the kitchen, she was lying on the nook table sleeping! What an ODD dog. She's actually very very cute if you pet her and she's calm. =P

Brandon and I were downloading Crazy Frog videos yesterday. Ah he's too cool......Crazy Frog I mean....OK Beano's cool too!!! =P

Sylvia dropped Ki Ki off this morning. She's all set. Ah boy. Today was one heck of a day eh? I actually feel tired. Joey and I waited for Brandon to come and we took the dogs for a walk. It was wayyyy too hot to be there. Got back and just hung out at home with the B-ster. Jo and I filled up the water snakes and we played with the little bubble thing. She made Beano a bubble hat. He said he'd get beaten up if he was seen out on the streets. =P

Aunty June and family, Aunty Sharon and family came for satay. I realized Zara and I have quite a lot in common. She likes the same music..same movies...same career interest. Crazyy. All of us watched Must Love Dogs and stuffed our faces with ice cream puffs.

After an entire day of running all over the place.. jumping.. barking.. chasing Pepper [I think Pepper's scared of her now]...playing fetch..etc.. She's finally decided to cool down for the night.... in my room.. I decided she can take the fan. As long as she's comfortable and doesn't wake me up. Well tmr's my orientation.

So I got a call back from PNE. I went for my interview today and it was.... hmm.. ok well I got lost first of all. Went there.. had to go to..allll the way around the back to find the right gate..."For employees only".. Oo I feel special. The lady told me where to go. But.. I still didn't know where to go. I walked... and walked.. and walked.. and walked somemore and found Guest Services. Even they didn't know where I was supposed to go. K so ... my instructions were.. go to the 3 tents, wait at the picnic tables and someone will be with me. Well I found... a couple yellow umbrellas? Man....Yea so I did the interview.. filled in some sheets.. and voila.. I'm a standby. Hmmph. So who knows when I'll be working. I think I woulda gotten a placement if I'd been around in July. So as of right now.. if they fire someone [likely?] or.. someone breaks a leg...arm...yea.. I'm da woman. =T. Monday's orientation. Well at least I'll have something to do this summer. 8.95 an hour not to bad eh? Sylvia's gonna drop off her dog here tmr too. Will be dog sitter for 3 weeks until school re-opens.

Yea I'm a day late. No time?! Anyhoo... Yesteday was National Day in Singapore. Well actually... the day before since we're a day late. My dad arrived back yesterday. We actually didn't buy THAT many things this trip. A lot of it was food and presents. Ah.. I'm so patriotic eh? Now I gotta figure out where I'm gonna put that flag. It's huge. My room's already that small.

Diane and I met Troy, Dustin and Brandon [and his brothers] at Erma to play soccer. Ugh the weather's so wacko. One minute it's uber cold the next it's warm and sunny. We were out on the field for a bit. Then went to Tim Hortons. Same old regular afternoon. Will be heading down to the rec for more badminton later on today.

Something was chasing me. I didn't know what it was. I knew what I had to do to get rid of it. But I couldn't come to doing so. At the last moment, when I thought whatever it was was gonna get me, Joey runs into my room giggling. She jumps on me and goes "BrandonsaystothrowapillowatyousoI'mthrowingapillowatyou!!!"

Huh? What? *POOF* Ahhh!

I cleared out my clothes... tried to clear the stuff off the floor but they just ended up on the desk. I changed my sheets then fell asleep for half an hour and it was time for dinner already. That fast eh. The weather's so weird today. When I was in Singapore everyone said it was really really hot. But today it rained and it's quite cold out. Veeery odd.

[Jungle of a Garden]

I stepped out in the backyard this morning and tried to see if I could get Joey's water snake thing working. I think she bothered me yesteday to help her but I can't remember what I was busy doing. Well I stuck it in the hose and it worked right away. Don't get what they didn't understand lol. It's crazy.. It's basically a balloon tube thing and you force water in it and it squirts out. Our garden looks like a jungle now. Everythings grown so much it seems darker. That could be a good thing. Makes it a lot cooler. All the flowers have bloomed too. We have.. Lilies.. Orchids..Daisies... The roses have dried up =( but my mom said new ones are coming out. So..=).

Mmm.. there's no summer school today. What is it....BC day? Something like that.

[Pride week 06 and ahem HBC Fireworks 06]

Ah yesterday was rad. Hogen came to pick me up at around 12:30 and we went to Timmy's to pick up lunch and iced capps. Mmm egg salad. After that we picked Sylvia up and headed for Surrey Central to meet the rest. WELL.. we were late so pretty much everyone was there already...Diane, Lily, Krissy, Brian, Jensen, Jane, Julian, Alice, Sandra... who else... I think that's it. We met David at Granville and walked down as usual. Hehe it's Pride Week! Gay Pride! That's hilarious. That street usually has rainbow flags along the lamp poles but yesterday individual shops had flags up too. Too cool too cool. So we did the usual. Walk down.. stop by 7-eleven get slushies...

The beach wasn't that full yet. Same as last year. We took up quite a lot of... area lol. Julian had one of those half tents. Pretty good idea actually. They set it up and so we had some shade. None of us.. ok well.. most of us didn't get wet this time. No swimming. Eee the water's cold, not like in Singapore where you can just jump into the water. Hogen, Brian and Jensen were bugging each other. Then Hoge splashed Jane and ooo Jensen ran after him haha. Literally picked Hoge up and threw him into the water. Those guys played Kings and the pointing game. Truth or Dare without the truth basically. That went on for a while. By that time the beach was pretty full. Katherine and Simran met us there. They found us! So yea we chilled for a bit. They had to leave early though.

Jimmy managed to find us in the crowd. Amazing. I gave him directions and he found us. Well then he left to go find other people. Brandon had been calling all day. He reached English Bay at 7:30ish. And so I asked him where he was and he was wayyy down on the other end. So I gave him the same directions as I gave Jimmy. Jim found us in 10 minutes. Brandon.. I think took half an hour. Lol... I was like.. ok .. do you see the guy waving the Mexican flag.. Yes? Ok.. we're next to that guy!! And he's like ok... Then the announcer guy comes on the P.A and starts talking bout Mexico and all these crazy Mexicans start cheering and waving their flags. There are so many of them!!!! There were probably 5 huge flags in the air. So I was like.. uh oh... Now which flag is Brandon at...He eventually called back and yea it turned out he was at the wrong flag. Then Hogen told him to walk on the path behind the beach to get through. I ended up having to go out to the ice cream stand to meet him. It was the only thing there wasn't 2 of. I got out quite easily actually. I was suprised. No one yelled at me.. No 8 year old kids cursing at me like last year. Oh man people were very moody last year. Brandon however had to borrow phones from 3 people and had to pay a guy one dollar to let him pass lol. You could earn money if you look intimidating eh? Apparently that guy got kicked in the head by accident so he was pretty pissed and Brandon didn't wanna get beaten up so. So yea at long last we met up. Now we had to get back to where we were. Julian had to take the tent thing down coz people from behind were complaining. So then it was harder to find our spot. Mexicans are crazy people man. They had a beach ball being thrown around. They just threw it in the crowd and yelled "Baaallla baaallla!". Too cool.

Fireworks started at 10. It's so annoying how they kept shooting up a couple just so it gets peoples attention before the PA comes on again. But noooo it hasn't started yet. 10 o'clock came... 10 o'clock went.. They had fireworks the shape of hibiscus flowers! So half an hour later the beach slowly empties... and all that's left is garbage. Heh I'm not sure who won. I'm not even sure who participated. China.. Mexico... and..? Canada?

It was quite the walk to Waterfront. The crowd was like last year just more scattered. Or maybe coz we went a different way this time. There were lotsa police around and the helicopter dude was still flying around at midnight. I felt pretty safe lol. When we got to the skytrain station. O man.. the line.. was horrifyingly long. It went from the station.. past the hotel.. past the flagpoles infront of it...past the gates that overlook the water... down to the next corner. We got in line and ah it took so long. But then once we got in it was pretty fast. Get our ticket and then get on the train. The first train we got on was so empty. Me, Brandon, Brian, Peter and..I forget who else. Well we had the whole car to ourselves. It was so empty. But then Brian said we should get off and get on the next with everyone else. So... we had to squeeze on with a TON of people. There were a LOT of them. But yea eventually it got less and less crammed. Lily, Krissy and Diane left off at Stadium and David at Broadway. The rest of us went back to Surrey Central. Hoge drove me, Bran and Sylv and we stopped by Wendy's to pick up some food. I think I got home at 2:30. Ah it was a good day. =)

Today I slept all the way through 12. I took the nicest shower ever and played some badminton. I'm a little rusty but I still managed to pull off some crazy shots haha =D. Sylvia and I pwn. Something WEIRD. All three of us, me, Sylv and Jensen wore the same shirt today. All three of us wore our Washington shirts. That's so crazy.. Coincidence? I think not!

It's 7:15 in the morning. I just made noodles and kool aid. I let the dog out and I'm wide awake. Must be jet lag right? We had white porridge for dinner last night and there's nothing but junk food and granola bars in the house so I got kinda hungry last night. Was too lazy to get up to make anything though. But now I can't sleep soOOoo here I am. =). I don't think I've ever been up at this time when I don't have to. Brandon will be coming by later and then Hoge's gonna come pick us up. Whoo hoo.. fireworks tonight! =P

I checked my SS provincial mark. Hoo! It's not an A but it's not bad. So.. I'm happy. =P

Yea so happy birthday to my Dad this time. Since Canada's one day behind Singapore I'm not behind in my blog entries =P. We got him more Giordano T shirts. 5 for 20$!!!

Ahh so we're home. Uncle Richard picked us up since we had a little mix up with the arrival date. Hah.. well I'm home!!! First thing I get back, Diane phones. She either has psychic powers or she stalks me. Somehow she knew... haha... So yea we talked for a bit and then we went over to pick Pepper up. He's bigger now! And fluffier! And... and.. he was so confused!! In the car he didn't move. But when we got home I think everything came back to him haha. He ran everywhere. Awww Diane and her mom are gonna miss him so much!.. Well Diane.. time to get a dog.. hehehe. Salt.. then Pepper can have a friend. And they can have sleepover parties. =P

Anyhoo... It seems everyones DYING to see me. Lmao... cough cough.. Jim showed up. And somehow everyone knows what time I'm back. Apparently we were supposed to hang out.. And well I didn't know that lol. But everything seems quiet now so. I can't wait for tomorrow! Fireworks! It's gonna be awesome. Just like last year. =)

...Happy Birthday to my Mom...

We visited Kai Gong Gong again. It was just the afternoon for lunch. My dad was talking about this singapore made movie, The Maid and Aunty Sharon had it. Later on he goes "Jamie go watch the maid". I turn around and the [REAL] maid is turning on the TV, then I thought to myself... why on earth would you want me to watch her. O friiick that movie's actually scary. It's about this 18 year old philipino maid. She leaves home for the first time to work in Singapore. But she comes during the Hungry Ghost Festival. The family she works for is really nice and they welcome her and everything. So they have one of those bins outside where they burn the prayer paper and money for the Gods. And you're supposed to leave the ashes out there for the Gods. The maid didn't know that and she swept them up. Right after, she started seeing things. O god.. Joey and I jumped back from where we were lying. After that I was so jumpy. Yeesh.

Joey and I lazed around all day yesterday. My mom went out and so did my aunt. So it was just us and my dad the whole morning. We ate all day man. There's food all over the place. Ugh. We were out of the house by 5:30. Headed down to Suntec City to meet up with everyone. Had dinner with Aunty Lana, Uncle Lek, Aunty Dot, and Aunty Irene at this place called Muthu's Curry. Not one of my favourites but after having snacked all day I think I was alright. Lol. After that we went to NYdC for dessert. Aunty Lana and Aunty Irene got my mom a nice chocolate cake. Ah either everyone was sugar high or it was the air. Aunty Irene is hilarious. She was telling us stories. She told us bout her flights to and from China and how there are so many inconsiderate people on the plane. She ended with "I felt like Mr Brown you know!" I think all of us were kinda wondering who Mr Brown was. Then we figured she meant Mr Bean. Next she tried to describe a movie she saw on the plane but she didn't know what the name was. "What's that movie about the man with the goat legs... and and he walk through the cupboard and then open the cupboard doors and then got a lot of snooow... and" lol....Their discussion went from Life and Death to whether they want to be buried or cremated. They were talking pretty darn loud too. Aunty Dot said she doesn't want to be cremated coz she can't bear the thought of her body being put into a furnace. XD
