For some reason all the religious schools didn't have class today. Surrey Christian.. Surrey Muslim school? Fraser Valley Christian.. PA.. Hmmph. I listened to the radio for so long this morning hoping FH would be called.

We presented our Islam projects today. We were supposed to either do a power point or poster. And bring along a dish to share with the class. I made Sautéed Gulf Potatoes. They were kinda dry. But yea.. still good. =P Mr Mahli was so excited. "Bring on the food!"

Other than that, my day was horrible. Long hours of nothing. Ugh. On the plus side, I have snowboarding to look forward to on Saturday.

And oh yea, Happy Birthday Diane.

There was school today =(. But I hear it's supposed to rain or snow and tonight temperatures drop to negative 15. The water or whatever it is is supposed to freeze and tomorrow, roads will be slippery. It's either tomorrow or Thursday that there's not gonna be school. Lol. Everyone has their fingers crossed.

I wore my boarding pants to school today. It was so hard to walk in. But I guess better than being miserable in the cold. That's what I'll do tomorrow, wear jeans. =P.

Nothing all that special happened today. Well there was foods. We did a couple crosswords and a word search. But practically.. ok, we had about 8 people in class. Why? Well, Ms Lees has come to help Ms Oneill with our class. It's painful having her in there. Basically, she ruins everything. Ms Oneill is cool but needs to be a little more strict with the guys. Ms Lees pretty much took our class away. Everyone who didn't do the worksheet had to go out with her, leaving the 8 of us to do the rest of the worksheets. In a way I guess an empty class wasn't bad.

After school I went out back to the field with Jimmy to take a couple pictures of the snow. I told him to lie in it.. and well, he did. Lol. "Just this one time." Popped by Timmy's to get hot chocolate and timbits and headed for home. I wish I had my snow boots and jacket on. I woulda just rolled home.

I love my toque. Or well, Brandon said it's called a "Milo". Toque with a cap front. Joey, Pepper and I rolled around in the snow all morning. 10 am, got out of bed, didn't eat anything and went straight out. Pepper loves it. He'll jump around in it until it forms lumps in his fur.

Later on in the day, Beano's dad came to pick me up and we went to Fraser Woods with Amy and Dustin. The guys wanted to build a jump to go off with their boards. I watch Brandon pile up a buncha snow. He squishes it down with his butt and forms..... well.. a sloped pile of snow. Lol. "Brandon... that's a lump.. not a jump." He runs back up the hill.

"Jmerz!!! Can you stand next to it! I can't see it. "

They go off it a couple times. But the slope wasn't steap enough so they didn't have enough speed. We resorted to throwing snowballs at each other like everyone else was. lol. I was chased by all three of them!! Ahhh! Snow's so fluffy you can just fall in it and it doesn't hurt =P. It was so cute, Dustin and Amy were playing hide and seek. Amy starts counting and you see Dustin running in the opposite direction. I didn't see where he went. But he was gone. lol. ".......8.....Jamie is he gone yet...9...10"....Just as Amy turns around, Dustin pops his head up from the snow. Lmao... Ah he's so funny. He buried himself in snow. "I was getting c-c-c-cold."

We stopped under the porch outside the classes at Fraser Woods to dry off. Dustin takes his shirt off and starts running to an area of untouched snow, "Brandon... this one's for you.." He leaps up in the air and *poof*. He lands flat in the snow, arms wide open. Eeeesh. We walked down to Tim Hortons to warm up and yea.. that was it.

The power went down last night during dinner. Urg. The lights were flickering for a while. Then they finally gave in. My dad went to grab the candles and just as he got them, the lights came back on. 2 minutes later, they go off again. =(. And right when they go out, the phone rings. Diane goes, "JAMIE!!!! DID YOUR LIGHTS GO OUT!?!?!"

I spent the rest of the night drawing under candle light. Went to bed at 8:30 and hoped school would be out today. I got up at 7 this morning and came online. Had people asking me if school was out, telling me that school was out. When I went downstairs, my mom had the tv on and the radio AND the computer on News 1130. I was listening to Cfox this morning and they only listed all the private schools that were out! Lol I was so disappointed. But yea.. here I am... at home. No school to go to =D!

Jo and I were out this morning. Man... I've actually been up since 7!?! I'm crazy.

Walked to Diane's. Then we walked to Fraser Woods and then Krissy's. We met Julian, Alice, Jensen, Jane, David, and Peter there. Alan was already at Krissy's. We just chilled for a bit. Threw snowballs at each other. Cept the snow was too dry to form balls. I was standing trying to make a snowball when Brandon runs by and trips me. I end up having to chase him across the field then tripped on more snow lmao and fell again. He ran off and David started throwing snow at me. So I retaliated, threw some snow back. He started chasing me. And actually stuck his foot in my path. Hmmph

When we got to Krissy's, everyone dried off. Beano, Peter and I went upstairs to play pool. He grabs me by my legs and carries me upstairs. Ahhhh that was so scary. Krissy and Alan came to watch us.

So ends our long weekend. I think there's school tomorrow. It felt like Winter break was here. I have to walk in the ice tomorrow =(. It's gonna be.. negative... 5? Something really really cold.

[Early Snowfall!]

Well.. that makes 2 people who have fallen asleep while talking on the phone to me. And I thought he was ignoring me coz he didn't want to answer my questions.

We went to Guildford today to do some Christmas shopping. Well my parents went christmas shopping. Joey and I walked the mall.. got some candy. I got 2 shirts and a toque. =). There was snow on all the roof tops this morning =) Then it began to snow when we were at the mall. =D Can't wait to go boarding.

After Guildford, we were gonna hit Coquitlam but the traffic was moving too slowly so we went to Surrey Place.. Uhh.. Surrey Central instead. my dad wanted to check out the new iMacs. He got one for my mom. The monitor's HUGE. It's like a mini flat screen tv. But.. woooo..

4 weeks ago Mr P assigned me like...10 pages to do templates on. Today, he tells me that he never assigned them and that the whole yearbook's gonna look uneven. Grr... Diane and Lily are rushing to get their pages done. I should have been helping out with the grade 8 pages and each of us could have just one 2 or 3 pages. Now Lily and Diane are piled with 5 pages each.

Ms Van Os just came in. She saw my Fruit To Go wrapper on the desk. Wow... I've been eating in here ever since the semester started. And guess what.. no one says anything. She comes in with a plate of chocolate cream pie, hands it to Mr P and then tells me that I'm not allowed to eat in here. I swear.. she's seen me eat a lotta times. Does anyone say anything then? Nope...

Watched basketball all-stars at lunch. It was teachers versus the all-star student team. Beano made me promise him not to let him watch the game coz he had to study. I ran all over school at the start of lunch looking for him. Lol.. He was in the library. So hardworking. I walk up to him, "omg! You're working!!".. lol *pat on back*.. Well then I went to watch the game. hehehe. It was tied. 47-47?

Sitting in CC researching for our islamic countries project. We just came back from outside. Mahli kicked us out coz there was the smell of gas coming from.. I'm guessing outside. Well Mr M opened the windows and I don't know how that works. The smell's coming from outside. They think it's the blowers. We had that smell in the yearbook class yesterday too. Mrs Williams took her class outside too. For the first time I actually wanted to be in class and not outside in the hallways. lol.

There were basketball finals today. China versus.. erm.. I don't remember. Pink versus blue. Mr McMurtury gave out awards for scorekeeper and most enthusiastic fan. We seem to have a lot of money to be buying all these awards and trophies. Yea so Yvonne got the award for #1 fan. Probably coz she screams at every game and after ever basket is made. lol. The only person you can hear. Well Pink won. Or ok.. China won. The Taiwanese team. I thought Taiwanese people didn't like to be associated with China. It's like.. a completely different country or whatever. *shrugs*. Team China had their lil fan club. They made sound makers out of bottles and coins and were chanting "defence defence defence!" every time the other team had the ball. As you can see, up there, a whole line of fans taking pictures of the team. God. lol. It's like they're animals.

We made Mac and Cheese in foods today. In fact we made it in a half hour! Ok.. well 45 minutes. First block, we went over the demo. Ms Oneill just read the worksheet out. We filled it in really quick and when they were calling people down to go watch the play, Grant kept bugging Ms O to let us go watch it. Jake wasn't in class coz of it so we decided to go watch him. There were two parts. The first had to do with...mmm exploitation? exploiting..... Ok it had to do with the working industry and how it's unfair. That was soooo boring. Sure, they had a lotta catchy phrases. But it was torture sitting in there. I'd much rather have been sitting in foods doing a load of work than watching it. The second one was about a high school reunion. That was very well done. They actually did some filming which was pretty cool. The stuff they showed on the screen was supposed to be flash backs of what happened back in grade 12. All the things that were left unresolved when everyone left. Yea it was quite cool.

When we went back near the end of second block, Ms Oneill said we could cook if we did it really fast. Lol and we did. We had half an hour before school was out. We didn't get the casserole dishes in the oven until 5 to. But yea.. by 3 we were almost done washing. And it was goooood =)

I stayed afterschool to do some editing. Ok well I'm not so organized. I have a lotta footage to film. A lotta music to find. The music's gonna be easy. But the footage. I'm thinking of just.. filming everything and whatever I want. And then when I put it together, I'm gonna make it so that everything fits. Many say that I should plan everything out. But I've tried. I see everything in my head. All my ideas are up here...in my noodle. So.. I just have to.. make it. =)

Mr Nguyen's hilarious. Beano and I were sitting in the library. Noog comes by on his way out for his work out. He does the "elevator" lmao. *clicks button*...*elevator moves down*. He went to his office. Came back and did it again. This time, *clicks button*... Lmao then he pretends the elevator just kinda gave way and gravity took him down really fast. Lmao ah.. funniest thing ever. Brandon was on the floor laughing.

Yesterday, my mom, Joey and I were sitting infront of my dad's laptop. It has a built-in webcam and there's this program called photobooth. There's a feature that warps your face. Lol well .... we spent a good.. 45 minutes laughing at ourselves.

I got called down to the office after school. The secretary gave me another study card. =S.. The first one I got had my name as "Jamie Poh". This one said "Jamie (Qiu Wei) Poh". Jeez. lol.

I talked to Mr Nguyen about film today. He said he was at a conference and he met this teacher from LA who has a media class. He posts his students work online and some of them apparently have won awards.

Hehe I forget everything that happened over the weekend when I'm writing but when I'm away from the computer, I remember all these little things. Yea.. we played with orange coloured birdies. =P I took a couple. They're so cool!!!! =D... I shall get a picture soon.

[Port Moody]

On Friday, I met Beano at Esso and then Adam came to pick us up for our PM tournament. There was a huge mess up with the line ups. What happens is you get a sheet with all the games that are supposed to go on. You place the players in each box for each event. Usually you're only allowed to play Singles and Mix or Doubles. You can't play Singles as well as Doubles. Sylvia asked them if we can play all 3 events and the person at the desk misunderstood and said yes. Lily played Singles then Doubles and after they won their first Doubles match, the coach called the default on us. Pfft. After we beat their school.

Fraser Heights put out 2 teams, A and B. I still think we should have put out just one team. But Team B did come in quite well. 7th place.

Man I don't even remember what's happened all weekend. I told Sylvia I'd split up the blog entries. I don't think I will =P Yea so.. Friday.. Everyone finally found rides to get to PM. Felt good stepping into a gym full of badminton players and players who are there as a team. Prince of Wales, Port Moody, South Surrey Rec Badminton Club, Alpha, Richmond High, Dr Charles Best, Moscrop, Centennial Rec Badminton Club and Fraser Valley Christian. Jessica and Alex are back! We never had to play them though. They didn't make it too far. I thought we were gonna suck in this tournament coz Jensen had volleyball provincial qualifying games so he couldn't make it the first night. The second, he came near the end when we were about to play Richmond. We creamed Richmond.

OO! Port Moody has sweet lockers. Their school is so big. Their lockers are COLOURFUL. So awesome. I wish our school lockers were colourful. Port Moody's apparently the City of Art.

Beano was dressed as a ninja! He wore his black bandanna and black nike muscle shirt. He's the 'Ninj' and I'm the samurai. MwahaHA! We were watching Raf and Peter's doubles games and he was "mad" at me coz I hit him. So he said far far away from me. 2 minutes later..."Jmeeeerz... I miss youuuu"..."Well then come here!"...."No!"...."Fine!"... He takes off of his shoe and chucks it at me. Takes off the other.. chucks it at me. I was like, "keep it coming Brandon.". Then he took off his shorts and threw them at me! *gasp*. Ah man. I didn't think he'd do that. But he sat there in his boxers. Lmao. Ah. Poor guy. He got switched around with so many partners all weekend. He played with Waina on Friday. Well hey they won their mix game. =). Then he had to play with Lamna and today, Wanta.

The team went to Red's on Saturday for dinner. We came in first for that round. The wait for the table was too long though. So Beano and I went to Mac Ds.

Sylvia and I ka-pwned in all our games man. We won every single one. Let's see... Friday we played 3. Saturday we played 4? Today we played 4. Sweet. I love it. Well.. we owned in all cept the last game. That one went to 3 games. Rawr. For one moment I thought we were done for. But o em jee. We pulled through in the third game. They kept making these weird fluky shots that hit the tape line and roll over. And weird duff frame shots. During finals, Jensen's singles match against Clinton came on. When the match was called, "Boys singles, Jensen from Fraser Heights versus Clinton from Moscrop", all you hear are the shuffling of chairs and feet. Everyone surrounded that court and just when they called that match, Sylv and I had to play doubles. Grr they wouldn't let us watch either. The 4 of us kinda just stood there and watched parts of it. A couple minutes later, "Will court 6 please continue their game." Everyone in the crowd turns around and laughs at us. =P

Today Mr Nguyen and Pocock came by. They brought us timbits. =P Well... then they left. >=(... On Friday we played Centennial and Moscrop. Saturday we played Port Moody and Richmond. Today we played Alpha and Moscrop again. Hmph. Alpha was pretty challenging. I have no idea where that school is from. Vancouver? Richmond?

We needed at least 6 matches to determine our win. Sylvia and I won both ours. Jensen won his singles. Brian and Corey won their matches. Then Jensen had to play mix with Ceilia. She was so scared. You watch her standing up front all stiff. Lol She had some pretty nice serves and net shots. But o em jee. Watching that game made me jump up and down. Well they went up to 3 games and then we lost. =(. Then we depended on Diane and Lily's game. They lost both. =(.. THEN.. Adam and Julian. They played hard. But.. I guess those people were pretty tough. Yea =T

Well we placed 2nd after Moscrop. And it's funny coz we actually beat them the first time. We still got a second place trophy and every one got a medal and a t shirt. Oh and the school got banners. =) Both A and B teams got banners. Ooo man. Nguyen's gonna put it on the announcements tomorrow. I forgot to take a picture of Team B with their banner. >=( Grr

["First time anyones ever told me I'm not allowed to go to the office"]

Weird... I blogged a huge entry last night on the black out. And today, it's gone. O_O... What was I doing last night. That's so weird. =S

Well yesterday in yearbook, around 12:50, all the monitors snapped off. The power in school went out and Mr P locked us in class. So yea.. all of us sat in the dark for a good half hour. Mrs Van Os kept coming back but she'd never bring any NEWS. Grrr nothing worse than being trapped in class, in the dark. Eventually Mr P let us out. So everyone thought we were allowed to go. I bumped into Mr Nguyen and he said we were actually out for break and were supposed to go back to class. Pfft. No one's going back to class. He did a little commentary for me, "Today.. November 15th... We're experiencing our first black out of the year. As you can see.. the students are all in the cafeteria..." lmao. Good stuff. I text messaged my mom telling her the power went out and we're all trapped in school. Lmao she replies with, "Find your own way home. The garage door won't open". Fair enough lol. Cept it was storming outside.

I lost Diane and Lily. Sylvia kept sending me creepy text messages, "Hello Jamie.. I want to play a game.. The rules are simple. All you have to do is turn on the lights or else I will kill you." I went upstairs to look for Beano. His class, along with a couple grade 11 and 12 classes were still kept in. Well eventually I found everyone. We hung around for a while just to see what's happening. Well.. first they lock us in. Tell us we can't leave the building. Then they kick us out and say that they're closing the school and turning on the alarm. =S Yea.. Diane, Brandon, Troy and I stood out in the rain. Lmao Beano pulled out this fobby umbrella he found on the stands at the bball game. His dad gave us a ride home.

When I got home, everything was silent. My mom went out to pick Joey up from school. Lol Joey said, "Everyone who had older siblings who came to pick them up could leave. You coulda come pick me up!!!" Lol awww... We had about 2 hours of light. Then everything was pitch black. Only one phone worked. It was all silent then all of a sudden the phone upstairs starts ringing. Diane was the first to call. Lmao figures. Next.. Beano phoned my cell. He said he was stuck in traffic. Since the time he dropped me off and 2 hours after that. Then Hogen called and said he was home alone in the dark.. scared and didn't have anything but a flash light. I was like aww. He was on his way out of the house when the electricity came back on. Lucky him.

Joey and I did our homework by candle light. =P.. We each had head lamps too. Hehe so those things do come in handy. I got a headache after a while. Beano called back after dinner and said he was home. On his way back he said he almost got hit by a tree. Some guy by them got hit [his car that is]. And there's a buncha phone wires and electricity wires that have been cut off coz of those trees.

I went upstairs to my room early. By 8 I was in bed. Lol. My mom came in shortly after and said I needed a candle in my room. She comes back with a tea candle. Haha other than that, the only other source of light I had was my laptop, which died a little while after. At around 8:30, Sylvia text messages me, "Times up..." Then she phones me and goes "game ....over". urrrg! Everyone bugs me about this Saw III thing now. After that I fell asleep. That's crazy. Earliest I've ever slept. There really wasn't anything to do. Can't go on the computer.. can't watch tv.. can't read.. We listened to the radio all evening.

Joey spent her birthday doing tons of homework with limited amounts of light and had instant noodles with egg for dinner. =) Happy Birthday Jo Jo.

Everyone was hoping there'd be no school. But the power came back on at around 4 in the morning. The house alarm went off and then followed by Pepper's barking. The traffic lights weren't working at the intersection. Urg. It kept flashing red so it was supposed to be treated as a 4-way. But people really didn't know how to take turns. Pedestrians couldn't cross. Kids got honked at for crossing.

School went on as usual. CC happened... At lunch, Beano, Dustin, Amy and I went to the snowboarding meeting. They had draws for prizes again. Yay!! Lol I was holding both mine and B's tickets and our numbers weren't called. After 4 were called, Beano took the tickets from me, "Jmerz! Look! None of our numbers are being called." The second he holds the tickets, my number gets called, "Ah hah!". "See I told you I have special powers. Your number would never have been called if I hadn't had taken the tickets." =P "Nuh Uh! It would have!"

Wrote my test in foods. That must have been the easiest test ever. Hrrrrmmm... Yea that's about it. I'm figuring out what else I have to do before going to badminton. Port Moody tournament all weekend! =). I can't get ahold of Brandon. He still has no power! =(

Time for Grad Pictures. =). Hoo hoo.. I can't believe we're graduating this year. Well I didn't bother going to line up for grad pics. I went straight to the gym to watch basketball. Diane signed up for me though. =) Tee hee.. So yea bball happened. I was like going coo coo up on the bleachers.

Mr Mahli wasn't in class today. We had D'alfonso. I love that guy. He marked our last test. Everyone did horribly. Or well.. I think everyone did horribly. I was expecting a close to fail. We covered so much on Greece in like 2-3 weeks, did 1 week of Rome and 3/4 of the test was on Rome. And with Mahli.. he doesn't go over the answers when you get them wrong. D'alfonso actually.. went through the test with us. There was a question asking what Disapora and Pax Romana was. I had no clue. No one in class did either. Yea he clarified everything. Hehe he said my essay was good. The essay I made up in half an hour about the Hellenistic Era.

We made sushi in foods today. Icky! And the thing is...everything is good. EXCEPT the seaweed. It's the only thing I won't eat other than raw fish. I actually did swallow a piece of raw fish at Sylvia's birthday thing. Blechy... Yea, we made california rolls. Alice is like pro and sushi rolling. I helped Jack roll out one of his sushi rolls and it is quite tough. Yes.. I decided ok.. maybe I'll give sushi a third chance. Nope.. I spat everything out.

When we got out, Jane had her wittle puppy wuppy!!! Ahhhh!!! So cute.. I ran over screaming like a little girl, voice all high pitched. Brandon sat beside Jane and drank his water. I got up and ran over to Brandon and squeezed his cheeks, "awww so CUUUUUUTE" *pats head*. Haha. But yea that dog is adorable. Jane has no idea what breed it is. But his name is Dan Bee which means "One sweet drop of rain" in korean. Jensen's nickname is something like "Two sweet drops of rain"... Doo Bee? Lmao.. He got moved down the list. Jane's so cute. She's like this little girl with her little puppy dog.

Practice happened. After SFU, I feel so .. powerful. Mwahah! Season starts.... NOW! I'll be playing mix with Corey at Port Moody this weekend. D'oh, we haven't had any practice.

Went over to Beano's this rainy rainy day. We watched Monster House. That's quite a good movie. There are all these "camera" angles and cool scenes. Yea.. lol. When I got there, his grandfather was working on the hardwood flooring for the stairs. Both of us sat on the couch.. stared blankly at the screen. Then you hear the sound of the drill in the back. Ah man. We waited for a while then put the movie on. His mom came to watch it with us. She made popcorn in this huge pot and later on Beano's dad came home with this red bean.. pancake.. thing. Cept it was the shape of a fishy! After the movie we just watched tv and the 3 of us talked about grad. It seems it's the thing to be talking about now. The entire weekend I feel like that's all I've been thinking about. AI... what's gonna happen when June comes by. My mom asked if I was interested in travelling some place with my aunt after graduation. Seems so far away.. but.. o em jee. 7 months. Eep. So anway, we talked about what I wanted to do after highschool and grad. B's mom's thinking of having a grad party. Sounds cool. I coulda sworn I had more things to say. Guess not.

Time to catch up on my weekend. Yesterday was Remembrance Day and on Friday we had an assembly as usual. Had the band playing, In Flanders Field recited and a minute of silence.

After that long hour of silence, the gym turned from what a funeral would be like to upbeat and crowds cheering on for basketball. World Champs end the week after next I think.

I finally got to present my Culture Diaries. Ugh now that I've gotten that over with, time to write up the next one. *eye roll* Lol it just keeps going. I think Mahli liked all my ideas though so that was good. My presentation was about blogs and how the world is communicating through blogging. But he wanted to discuss Radio Blog, which was one of my other write ups. We got the laptops on Thursday to work on our essays. Ick.. I'm gonna have to finish doing the outline and draft this weekend. Not only that but write up notes from my sources. I'm doing everything backwards!

Yesterday was the second day for the SFUBC Fall Tournament. Joey also celebrated her birthday yesterday. She had her gang come over to partay, make cookies and sleepover. I caught a ride out with my parents in the morning. They had to pick out goodie bag...goodies. Lol. I went to pick up Joey and Diane something and then met up with Sylvia. Hogie came to pick us up and we made our way to SFU.

Well we got to SFU around 12. Hoge found out he didn't have his badminton bag with him when we were in the parking lot. =S. He went around the school asking people. Then he went home to look for it. Wasn't there. When he came back, they found it at the security office. Lucky him. Sylvia and I played doubles. But our games didn't start until 2 ish. They had to finish up the mix and single games.

SFU's so creepy looking!!! The walls are made of stone. It's all dark on the inside. The lighting's... fluorescent.. but it's still dark. At least the floor was grippy. FH needs to re-do the gym floor. Dust gets everywhere and we're slippin' and slidin' everywhere.

Sylv and I played our first game. Eeeck... The gym was so cold. We weren't warmed up at all. I can't remember if those girls played singles. All the people we played were pretty average. No one really stood out stood out. So it was pretty even. We lost our first game. Now with the rally point system though, the scores are so even. I think we lost 21-17 and 21-..mm..14? Something like that. So that means, we went down to consolation side and the best we could do was 2nd place. We played these two girls...You can tell which players are good by the way they dress. When you wear casual home clothes.. Pink V-neck blouse like shirt and capris? Well we could have beaten them quite easily. Our shots were still floating. Oh another thing we had to play with feather birds. It's such a strange feeling at first but when you get used to it, it's way better. I can hit feather birds so much further than nylon. Anyhoo. We beat them. I can't even remember the score. We played another match and then made it up to finals. Had to play loser of semi finals on the winners side, Jessica and her partner. Hah! And we won that last game against Jess. The funny thing is. Jessica wins all her matches in the winning pool. We lose our first game but we beat them in finals? Hah.. so crazy. Sylv and I gots... 2nd place!!! =) Medal, grip and string. Too too cool. I promised Brandon that I'd focus today and think about nothing else when I play my games. It worked =). I phoned him right after we won. We forgot to do our victory dance though. Haha he wanted us to do the rowing canoe thing that's on the pepsi commercial [Streamline - Newton] and we'd use our rackets as our paddles. =P

Each of us were supposed to have a ticket for draws and they had about 4 draws throughout the day. After the first draw, my ticket wasn't called so I thought that was the end, we didn't need it. Lmao.. WELL.. After I ripped my ticket I realized there were 3 other draws!! Lmao I remembered my number though 285. I scavenged the bleachers looking for the bits and pieces and I found most of them except the part with the last 3 digits. XD.. When it came to the last draw, they still gave me the prize though =P. Hogen goes "Jamie wouldn't lie!" Hehe.. so I got me another set of grip. Quinn and I ran up and down looking for other tickets. He had about 10 of them and probably 5 out of them were called. So I got another set of strings. =) Hehe. I wanna get my racket restrung. Darn I should have given Hogen my racket.

Hm who else played. Corey played doubles. I don't think they got far. Ashish and Quinn showed up later in the day to play doubles too. Hogen and Brian played doubles. Tough luck. Grace played singles and got first. [Congrats Grace!!]. Jessica and Tony played mix. I don't know what they got. First? Second... something like that. Whatever it is, they won lol.

The whole tournament came to an end around 10:30. Well we left around then. They probably closed at 11. Plan was to go get sushi in Richmond. But Dave said it was too far away. We ended up going to Metro town. All these going places makes me realize how close by everything is. Metro is so close to AI in Burnaby. BCIT is so close by too. As is SFU. So anyhoo. We went to Sushaya... Shushaya.. Sorry.. Diane said it's SUI sha ya..Yes Sushi restaurant. All-you-can-eat started at 9:30 and the last call was at 11:30. Man the guys went crazy. They ordered so much!!! I see Hogen scribbling all these numbers on a piece of paper. Yea I don't like sushi lol but.. He ordered me a buncha other things.

"Hoge, order for me. I don't like sushi. Nothing fishy."

Lol I ate lotsa spicy tofu, deep fried veggies [tempura]..lmao. Well I was filled. =P I was quite full actually. I drank 2 glasses of water. Then I had to pee sooo bad on the way home XD. O em jee. We had this little room in the sushi place, just like the one uncle SH brought us to downtown. You gotta take your shoes off and there are these little pillows you sit on.

Today.. it's a dark rainy day. It's an inside day. I got a Welcome postcard from AI. My dad said I'm pretty much guaranteed in. Pretty cool. Brian asked why I didn't go to Capilano. He's the second person who's told me Capilano's good for stuff like that. O well.

[And then...]

That little white spot on the top of the sky is actually the moon. Taken this morning on my way to school. Mr Pahal's back. He has a whole lot of pages piled up for me to do. I thought I was done most of my work but nope. He wants us to do the templates for these pages so people can just drop pictures in coz he's afraid people are going to mess the pages up. =P Awesome.

Basketball went on again. Same old same old. Guys run from the left... to the right. Then back.. Left to right.. and back. You'd think they'd get sick of it.

I was planning on uploading all the footage from the cam corder to the laptop. But Noogie wasn't in school. Garr..Ms Bicknel gave me the laptop and I .. well.. looked through the videos that were already up. I needa plan it all out. All the better clips are still on the camera. =( So yea.

Afterschool, I was out front with Beano waiting for his dad. Then Julian, Adam and Alice came by. They wanted to, as Alice said, "Go eating". Hogen stopped by for a bit. The first 3 left. Beano's ride came a little while after. So then it was just me and Hogie. Adam phoned me 2 minutes later and told me to go. So I was like.. ok. 2 seconds after that, Brandon calls me and tells me to go. And I was so confused!!!! Lmao.. "Hey come to Pho!"......"What? Who is this?"..."Come right now!!"....."Oh Brandon?!...Ooops.."... Hogie gave me a lift there but he didn't stay. Yea so we had our little group in there. After Jane and Jensen finished their physics test they dropped by. Later on we went to Timmy's. By that time it was already almost 5 so I had to go home. Sun was setting lol.

I'm sitting here, flipping through blogs. According to Mr P, we've met our first deadline so for the rest of the week it's pretty lax. I have my AI interview this afternoon. Eep!!! Now I'm nervous.

We made the Stroganoff crepes today. Mmm mm.. It looks gross. But awgh.. it tastes so good. The fact that it's in a crepe tho..I still think that's weird. It should go with pasta.

Bball happened at lunch again. Todays set of games were wayyy more exciting. We had.. team China.. whole group of asians. And we had the yellow team with the "soccer theme". Lmao all of them wore their soccer socks. They ripped the sleeves off the shirts and wore them as headbands. Jethro and his brother were on that team. How very cool. Mr Holland was on that team too. He's actually quite a good basketball player. Lmao throughout then entire game you hear Diane going, "Omg look at no neck!" O em jee. We're horrible people. I shall say no more....*shifty eyes*

Well.. lol Mahli wasn't here. We had this old guy. He looked grumpy but he was quite the funny guy. Lol I had to get a note to get out of class early to help Corey. When he was taking attendance, he saw that I wrote my name with my left hand, "You're a handicapped too." I was like... What? Lol Yea he's left handed. But but but.. he called me handicapped!!! So anyway.. Janette and I put our pamphlet together and then worked on some hand out. I left at 2:15 mwahaha! >8D

So this Crime thing was quite interesting. I got down to the caf and the table's set up, the sheets are there... the pizza came in a little while after...something like 16 boxes. We had about 20 people all crowded around these tables. *eye roll*. We needed that many people to hand out pizza? So frustrating. Half the time Corey was busy trying to get things in order too. So yea we wasted a bit of time sitting around. He told us to go to the gym to set up the obstacle course. Cept we had no idea what kind of obstacle Corey had in mind. It was more of a .. You guys go plan something on the spot kinda thing. The guys went into the gym, got out a buncha hoola hoops... benches.. bean bags.. frisbees.. and VOILA.. obstacle course! When I went out, people were already signing the slips for the draw. Cept no one told them that the slips were for draw prizes. They took their pizza and left. =( Really unorganized. There wasn't even a big sign saying "STICK AROUND FOR DOOR PRIZES AND GAMES" The garage was pretty deserted. I just stayed in the gym and guess what.. 2 RCMPs came. Wow... Ok well it was quite cool seeing RCMP and getting to talk to them. But like.. from what I heard ... "Come mingle with the RCMP! Firefighters! Local businesses!!"... The career office came. 2 RCMP.... Ms Lees? Huzyk came in after the games and speech. But I guess I admit the games were quite fun. They did the obstacle course and tug of war. Yea.. that's pretty much it. I had to leave early for my AI interview.

It was sweet. My mom thought it'd take us an hour to get there. Well we ended up waiting about 45 minutes in the parking lot. I'm so pumped now!! I don't have an official document saying I got in. But I mean.. The guy was like "Ok so have your personal statement filled out by next week. Email it to me. You should go up for the scholarship. Lotsa winners" And yea.. That's basically it. Gr now I need that friggin transcript which.. cough I have to PAY for. Even Maurice was shocked. 5 bucks for a copy of my transcript. Is it that hard to print?

Ah so I got my time-after-highschool planned out. Now I gotta get a job. =(

Basketball.. Championships? Are being held at school now. Each time there's one of those inter-school tournaments/competitions, they school prints T-shirts for everyone who enters. I think entry fee is 5 bucks per person, which is quite good. Each team has a different colour. Well that was going on at lunch so the group of us went to watch. I went to film it for our non-existent "FHN". There were 4 teams. Don't know how many other teams there are. Maybe it'll be like the World Cup Soccer. So yea that happened. Pretty much people running from one end of the gym to the other back and forth throwing a ball into a basket. Lol. The best part was watching Mr Knight run around trying to look cool. I guess I shouldn't say much since I'm not that great at basketball either. I remember when I was little, someone... I think it was Colin. He threw the basketball at me and it crushed my finger. Lol Ever since then I hated basketball.

Mr Pahal and Mahli weren't here today. Both of them are bestfriends. HRM! I wonder! Well we had this geeky sub for yearbook. He called people's names wrong during attendance so the guys in the back kept cracking up. Then he got all "Why are you laughing. Did I say something wrong? I don't think I said anything wrong. I'm pronouncing this the best that I can!" Lol O god.

Mr Miller was quite nice. We had him for CC today. Watched a video on the Colosseum in Rome, marked a worksheet and yes....

Trevor, Sam, Sebastian, and Jon were out in the back space blowing up left over halloween firecrackers. Pepper got so scared that he ran up to my room, sat by my feet and stared at the door.

I slept all the way through 11. The past 3 nights I've actually been able to go into deep sleep and have a good night's rest. I got out of bed, made me a nice brunch. Then went upstairs to clean my room. Well I would have started my homework but I couldn't do so coz my desk was piled with... crap. I tried to clean it. But by the time I got up there... turned on my laptop... checked out a couple blogs.. It was already 12:30..ish. I found the phone and called up Beano. He asked me to visit him so.. At 1:30 I was downstairs waiting for my dad. He said he had to go to the washroom which I thought would have taken 5 minutes. Yno.. just a quick wash up. He took about 10-15 minutes. We kept hearing water from downstairs. My mom goes, "Omg what is he doing..washing the bathroom??" My dad dropped me off. By that time it was 2. Troy and Dustin were there. They probably slept over. Beano's got the hardwood flooring down in his living room now. Hmmm what did we do. Oh the guys were playing Halo 2. Brandon was dying so he gave me the controller and I got annihilated by Troy. I still don't get how guys can sit in front of the tv and just kill each other over and over again. And Brandon would probably say something like "And you can sit in front of the computer screen and talk to the same people over and over again?" Well.. Beano's mom dropped Troy and Dustin home. We chilled for a bit. Played Zelda on the N64. B was on the phone so I played. Then his grandfather came into the room and started fiddling with the wiring next to the tv. Lol then Link kinda... died... He just disappeared and there's this huge static sound. Beano turns around and has a devastated look on his face. Lmao. Well that was the end of Link... We went outside and played some soccer out on the wet lawn. It wasn't that cold out today suprisingly. After that we sat out on the balcony. They have the couches and chairs out there since the floor was being done. When B's mom came home, she gave us a blanket coz she thought I was cold. Brandon's grandparents had friends over. And yea koreans are quite loud people. Since Beano's mom kept coming back and forth from inside to the porch, B just said to leave the door open so she doesn't have to keep opening and closing it. She's hilarious. She comes by and gives Beano oreos and milk. Then she gave us grapes. Then she showed us a set of knives she got from the dollar store. "Look what I got from the dollar store! It even comes with a knife sharpener!! Ain't that cool!!?" Brandon goes, "Give it 3 days and see if it's still sharp." So anyhoo, the koreans were talking quite loudly. Brandon gets up, "Bloody koreans!!" *goes to close door* Just as he got to the door, one of the ladies turns and smiles at Brandon. All of a sudden his frustrated frown.....turns upside down!! He waves. Then closes the door right after. O boy . Ok well.. this blog's a mess. Time to go

I had to re-do an entire page for the yearbook. Mr P got me to do the academics page and o em jee man. I already finished it but it was supposed to be in colour. *eye roll* Tell me on the day of the deadline. So I had to re-do the entire page in colour. I finished and had it printed off right at the end of class.

We watched a Supermarket video in foods. It was so cheesy, just like every other educational school video. Even Ms Oneill got annoyed at it she turned it off before we got to finish.

Sylvia comes by at lunch and shows me this round puck-like piece of wood. On the front its got the words "TUIT". On the back there's a birthday message from Corey. It reads:

This is an indispensable item. It will help you become a much more efficient worker. For years now you have been saying "I'll do that as soon as I get a round to it". Now that you have a "Round Tuit" of your own, all those things that have needed to be accomplished will surely get done! Happy Birthday.....

So it's Friday once again. There's so many things coming up. Like.. like... lotsa badminton tournaments.. long weekends.. presentations. Lol Funny...Out of all the classes I've been throughout high school, I've dreaded doing presentations. In French, I'd be less worried than in English coz I'd tell myself the people listening wouldn't really be able to catch what you're saying anyway so even if you made a mistake, no one would laugh or.. yes. English was the worst. Then it got better. I did one presentation in Earth Science about some mineral. U...U.. I forget what my mineral was. It started with a U...D'oh it was a cool one too. >={.. So yes anyway. It was easy to present in that class since Milross was really strict about it. Now in Comparative Civics, Mahli puts so much pressure on the speaker. He stares you down when you're up there talking and makes you work hard for your marks. But somehow, it's a lot easier to talk in front of that class. Yes I have a presentation coming up next week. Yarg. =P

After school, plan was for Diane to come over. We haven't had Jamie-Diane time in ages. Probably since the Summer. And I think even in the summer we mostly were alone for just minutes before someone else met up with us. So I guess way before that, at the start of summer before I left for vacation. Crazy. We ended up going to Quiznos with Alice, Julian, Adam, Troy, Brandon and Dustin. The guys ate while Diane snapped a lot of pictures of them. Lmao ah man. Dustin was making a LOT of funny faces. Brandon... lotsa stoner faces.

After Quiznos, we decided to check out that Deals Only place. All along I thought it was a dollar store. Well in a way I guess it's like one. They have a lotta things in there. Quite nice actually. Diane got me one of those mini magna doodle boards. =)! It's by Fisher Price!! Tee hee! We stopped by Java Hut and I got Diane and I a Java.chinno.. cino..cinno. We sat there for a while. Then we split with the guys. Diane and I had about 35 minutes of girl time. =P She wrote on my white board as usual. Just like old times. =P Which reminds me, I haven't read it yet. Well.. the weekend's here again. Beano wanted to watch Borat. It looks quite funny. We'll see what happens tomorrow.

Ah Thursdays. Not my favourite day of the week. We made Chicken Caesar Pitas today. The chicken was pretty tasty. But really.. if the school wants us to learn and produce good results they HAVE to provide us with more ingredients. Our pitas were flat. There wasn't enough lettuce or meat.. or.. anything. I guess...we don't pay school fees..Hmmph. Well.. when someone tells you you're making chicken caesar, you'd expect it to taste kinda like a caesar salad. Nope.. tasted nothing like it. And there's something weird about the romaine lettuce the school buys. It's just too leafy. lol Or I'm just one of those people who likes the juicy stalk part of the lettuce leaf. The chicken was marinated in terriyaki sauce..Caesar and terriyaki?! The salad dressing was icky and vinegary. So.. put it all together.. and voila!

At lunch Corey held another one of his Crime Prevention Week meetings. Where this table will go.. Who will be at that table.. Well I sure hope people actually show up on that day. He's been running around doing so much work. After that, Sylvia and I checked out the gym for badminton. There was hardly anyone there but all the courts were full. We went across the street to Timmy's. Just as we got out of school she sees Jaime B's white buggie, yells out Punch Buggie White and WHACKS me in the shoulder. So mean!!!! Just as I saw the buggie I screamed MERCY MERCY MERCY MERCY. She... showed me none. lol =(!!

CC was quite boring. We're doing Greek/Roman government. Ick... Anything to do with Government.. boring. =0. We copied notes and the best part of the class was when we had our own worksheets to do silently. Everyone plugs in their tunes.

Afterschool, we had a lil cake ceremony. I really don't know HOW many birthdays we've celebrated this year. Seems like we keep having all these birthdays. It started with mine in June, then there was.. Mr Nguyen's, Jensen's, Krissy's, now Sylvia's...Next will be Diane's. Oh noes.. that means I have to get ANOTHER present. Noog got Sylvia 2 worms and dirt cakes from Superstore. It was tasty. Mmmmmm .. chawcolate =P!!

So here's how my halloween went.

School went on as per normal. More people dressed up this year. Looks like Mr Holland's managing to revive our school spirit. Mr Fabiano was like the ultimate grinch. The only good thing he did for our school was retire and leave it. Well ok... He got us cool new caf tables.. And he got the gym walls painted. And he got the media club equipment. But that's.. nothing FOR the students. It's all for the school.

I took a camera out for the day for yearbook. There were lotsa witches, angels, cowboys, devils, ghosts.. black things in capes. There were.. garbage man super heroes, army girls. Janette and Jason were nerds... Sean was a firefighter. Mr Nguyen was one of those hardcore dirt bikers. He had the full suit and his helmet. I tried it on and man it squeezes your head. Mr Derbyshire was a referee. Gasp Brian was a Red Crayon!! Haha it took me forever to figure that one out. Too cool. The majority of the school were, Nudists on Strike.

I had a feeling no one was going to be dressed up. I had my kitty ears and tail. Ah I love it so much. I'm never gonna take them off my hoodie!! I doubt they'll come off without leaving a mark though. =S He..hehe... That means... I get.. a new hoodie??? I need to get winter clothes. I'm layering a ton of thin jackets. lol And my boarding jacket is too bulky. =[!

So ok.. last night.. Plan was.. My mom was gonna shut off all the lights, sit in the family room and be silent for 4 hours. Joey didn't even go out. I ended up leaving for Adam's around 5:30. We watched Saw. Lol Ah man that one isn't scary compared to the other 2. I could actually sit and watch it with out jumping.. well.. too much lol. The only part that was really gross was when they showed the guy sawing his leg. I don't remember seeing that part when I first watched it. So yea.. who was there. It was me, Diane, Lily, Krissy, Alice, Julian, Sylvia, Peter, Jensen, Brian.. and of course Adam. We had popcorn, chips, pizza and gingerale. What else to have at a party eh?? After the movie we went out "trick or treating". Made our way from Dogwood all the way to Erma.. all the way to Jr Douglas. So many people were setting off fire crackers. Last year was supposed to be the last year fireworks were legal. I thought they were banned. Lily said it's legal if you have a parent with you. Trevor said you need a license which costs 900 bucks and you have to be one of those... whatchamacallums.. engineers.. Pyro.. blah blah blah? We walked down to Jr Douglas and Jane came out for a while. Bumped into Sasha.. then Corey.. then Andrew. Andrew was just blading around the entire neighbourhood lighting of firecrackers. Those things pop really fast man. You have about a second to throw it before it explodes in your face. So yea.. I got home around 9:30. It was quite quiet by then. Trevor, Jon, Sam and.. Jon's friend were out in the cul de sac lighting bombs...lol. I stop to talk to them for a while and I was telling them bout the cops circling around and Trevor goes: "My mom was like, if the cops come, just run inside the house." Ah too cool.
