Beano and I went to Erma to play soccer. Or well.. we went to Timmy's to hang out and in my head I was thinking we should go to Erma to play soccer. But I never actually said that to Brandon. We found an old soccer ball at the playground though. =P. So we kicked that around the field for a bit then laid in the sun.

Doesn't he look like one of those models for Gap or something. He said he looks so girly. Well we were out at Erma for about an hour or so then we got ice cream =P It's strange. Those Conetto.. Rolo.. wrapped cones are never cold. The ice cream is so light and ..un-cold.

Ah...1 more week and I'll have my novel project over with. Another week and it'll be time for Fraser Valleys. Another week and it'll be Washington weekend. Another week and it'll be Grad. Another week after that, Commencement. The week after, provincials. Then we're done!

[Blue Day]

Student council has reached it's end of good ideas for theme days. Today was "Blue Day". Everyone wears blue. They sell blue cupcakes, cookies and treats. It was some Kids Help Phone thing. But I didn't see much going on. I think most of the people who knew did wear blue though.

I invited Joey to play badminton today at practice. She pwned. Her nets are pro when they're low. Her clears go back a good amount. And her drives are pro. She beat all of us.

[Talent Show 2007]

Played mix with Corey today at LA Matheson. We pwned. For the last 3 years, I've played mix with Jensen. But this year he decided to go for doubles. Corey and I have been "practicing" for probably a month or maybe even less than that. We came in first today. =D Rar we played for 4 hours!!! It was awesome. Peter and Sandy made it pretty far. I'm not sure what they placed. 3rd? 4th? 3rd....And our last mix team was Sylvia and Raf who... were put together.. last week? Lol. Ah I'm gonna take a nice break from badminton this weekend. My body's still sore from singles on Monday.

After the games, I came back to FH to film the talent show. I put Beano in charge in case I didn't get back on time. But yea we finished just in time. I got back at 7. =) This year's show was really good. They had the usual. Soft classical music, violin, cello, piano, etc... then some improvisations and weird theatre -musical type performances... then some loud screamy horrible bangy rock band....and dancing. Bruce, Jason and Dustin's was the best. They played a medley. Dance Dance - Fall Out Boy... What goes around...comes around - Justin Timberlake.. Hmm Bruce played a song especially for Sean..Something about kissing him. I can't remember which. And.. and.. There was one other song before Hit me Baby one more time - Britney Spears. That's Bruce's signature song.

[Liquifaction]

Since my blog was down yesterday, I wasn't able to blog about our "Liquifaction Lab". We were given playdough and BBQ skewer thingies and were supposed to make buildings that could withstand an earthquake as well as liquifaction.. Selena and I moulded our dough and it turned out kinda like a pyramid alien. Milross told us to fix it coz we had too much dough at the base. So we did that.. and well.. it just turned into a ... box alien. =P

After that we put our models into a box of sand and water made to look like the coast of Vancouver. Milross takes out an electric sander and presses it against the sides of the box and we watched the water form waves and sand just kinda flatten and our houses sink. It was pretty cool coz the water actually moved like a miniature tsunami.

[Fashion Show 2007]

Last week was the Fashion Show. Wasn't as great as last year's but we got lots of nice video and pictures. Brandon took the pictures. This week there's the Talent Show. But I won't be able to go =(. I'll be playing mix doubles with Coreyo. Rawr.

Yea so B and I stayed at school all day when the fashion show was going on. We went for pizza and then chilled until it started. There weren't many models. Most of the clothes are common. Then there's the grad gowns and tuxes. And the kiddies. In between all the cat walking, we had Jen and Jaime play guitar and sing and Clara played the cello. She has her own record which is pretty cool. I took a look at it.

I did pretty well yesterday at our Surrey Championships. =) Yesterday was mens/womens singles. The first girl I played, I think she was Philipino. I started out really slow but I had the entire team cheering on me. =D It was good. Jensen, Sandy, Hogen, Waina, Clarence, Corey, Davidand a buncha JH people. Woo.. Yea I won that one. Then lost to the second girl. She trains at Guildford Rec and man she clears everything far back. I actually could clear my shots pretty well. We went to 3 games and I got 19-21 on the last one. Grr I started serving short and she couldn't get my shots. Well I had Corey, Jensen, Hogen, and David helping me with my games. =) Thanks guys. After I lost the second match, I went into consoles and won everything in there until finals. Lost to the SAME girl. Grr. 3 games and I lost again.

Brandon comes up to me at break and puts his camera (which he never brings) in my hands. There's a picture of a nice orange guitar laid on his couch. He's been saving up for one for so long and his mom went and got him one yesterday. So cute when he's happy.

Today was so so. Andy and I had to make up a story in Film studies. I came up with the idea and wrote the pitch. But I wrote it in 5 minutes so it didn't sound very good coz I didn't want to give away the twist. So Hazemi comes up to talk to us and once I explained everything, she was like oooOOOOOooo that's cool! =P

Ah I have 2 tapes to transfer and edit. I also have to re-edit Corey's Substance Abuse video. This is the 3rd time. You'd think Emerson could tell me properly what to take out and what not to. I've burnt the video 2 times already.

Troy, Beano and I hung out after school. We got burgers and then went to practice. I sucked today. I was doing ok at the beginning then after a while I gave up. =(

We had team play offs today against Pinetree and Semi. Wooooooo. I played singles and mix. It was rad. I didn't win any singles games. But.. it was alright. I got 18-21, 18-21 against Pinetree and then 19-21, 15-21 against Semi. It was pretty close. Corey and I won the mix so that was good and Semi had to default a match so we played with their coach. He's so scary o em jee. When he smashes it's like POW! I like singles. I can clear and smash harder now. But I can't seem to get any drops after I clear. My feet tense up and I'm just bouncing up and down on the spot. =S!

It was fun. Can't wait to make the video. Lol I went from.. no pictures in grade 8.. to some pictures in grade 9 and 10. Then LOTSA pics in grade 11. This year.. it's gonna be pictures video and everything.

We watched Misery in Film Studies the last 2 days. Eeesh. Creepy movie. It's about this writer who gets caught in a snowstorm and gets into an accident. His -number one fan- finds him coz she was stalking him and knew exactly where he was. So his legs are broke and he can't move. She takes him home to her place and goes all goo goo gah gah about him and she's creepy and obsessive and has a shrine and all that. So he stays with her for a really long time and soon she falls in love with him but she's REALLY creepy and has all this crazy mood swings. She locks him up in this room and doesn't let him get out. Then she goes even crazier and breaks his legs just as they're about to heal so he can't get anywhere. And she says God told her they were meant for each other. Eeesh.

Beano and I went down to Metrotown today. We trained it there, walked around and looked for Special Edition. I couldn't remember where exactly the store was. But eventually we found it so I dropped off my rackets and we walked back to get some food. Mmm.. or well.. I didn't want our tickets to expire so we bussed to Ai first. We had about 45 minutes more on the card. So at 12:15.. we bussed. The bus came 2 minutes after we got there. Took about 15 minutes to get to Ai, walking and all. I dropped off my scholarship application and by that time it was 12:45. I looked at Brandon.. I'm like.. "think we can make it?". Both of us start running. Well then I gave up running and we JUST missed the bus. Phoooooie. We coulda saved 3 bucks. Grr that made me mad.

Well...B had sushi and I got an Arby's burger. Mmm beef. Then we went SHOPPING =D! I got two tops from Garage and one from Ae. =) I love em. Lol it's so weird shopping with guys. Just coz there's someone shadowing you. So after I walked Garage, Beano got a shirt from Randy River. He's so funny. We were picking out shirts. He goes "white? black? ripped collar? nice collar?" I told him I liked the black on. But he liked the white one. Then I said you don't really have many black shirts. And he says yea I do! Lol he liked the white one. But bought the black one. Jee. lol

After that we hopped into Old Navy and he got another top. He said he liked it coz it was soft. Then I got another top from Ae. =) It's off white with stripes. I wanted the blue grey stripes. But nooo they didn't have it in the right size. =( All they had were S and XS. Well the other choices were red, green and blue. I liked the red and didn't mind the green. But Beano says, blue.

Twas a long day. When we got back, B and I went to Erma and laid out on the field. We watched people play soccer and baseball. Then it got too cold so we went to Java to warm up.

Today was... hmm.. don't know. Wasn't bad. Wasn't spectacular. After I finish all my videos for my scholarship entry, ah.. partayy. Gonna go to metro to get my rackets restrung. Then bus down to Ai from there and then back to metro to shop and pick up my rackets. Yayness.

Ms MacRae's so cool. She's this really short tempered teacher who will bitch at lots of little things. But at the same time she's a lot nicer than many teachers. I was walking down the stairs today and she looked at my shirt and went I LOVE YOUR SWEATER IT'S SO CUTE!! Lol I wore the pull over with Paddington on it. =P. We watched Hamlet and she didn't have a remote for the TV so she used her little pointer stick to press the buttons. Ah... priceless

Tutored after school then played some badminton with Beano and Wesley. Then played mix with Hogen against Jensen and Waina. Yea I think I sorta got my mojo back. Sort of. Maybe next week. Everyone's been talking about Washington. Woot.. It's gonna be so rad. Just like last year. =D

Hogie Birthday Pictures

I played singles against LA and Guildford Park today. Wooo.. first time since grade 9. Wow...lol I remember when Slade told me I couldn't play singles and I was much better off playing doubles. Well...I played today.. and found that I can actually play a decent singles game. The first game was kinda weird coz she wasn't that great and I hadn't played in forever. I won 21-12 21-12. Second game was more challenging but I was much happier with that one. I lost. I won the first 21-9, lost the second and third 12-21, 16-21. I was down 10-18. Then I went nuts and got 6 points straight. Then made a boo boo and she got the serve and beat me after. =(. But o well. At least I thought I did well.

Played mix with James and yea it was fun. He runs all over and we make a pretty good team.

[On the Road to: ]

I spent the entire day thinking and planning.. Well not really planning. But I sat and stared blankly at my computer screen. Then I decided I'm gonna make a title..so voila! At the beginning the "Jme" is missing. Then I place it in and in the background there's the clicking noise. Ah what an accomplishment lol. Ok well I did more than just that today. I went out to Erma with Corey and took some videos of him being a druggie. Then we came home and fixed the Substance Abuse video. We did quite a lot..Took us about 4 hours to get just 2-3 portions of interviews done. I think it's gonna look good.

I watched Babel last night. Good movie. There's like 3-4 different plots going on all at once.

[2.5 months]

In about 2 and a half months, we will be graduating! We will be 'grown-ups'! We will do grown up things! But until then, we're still allowed to make funny faces at the camera and do silly things like super hero poses.

[Sudden Tennis Craze]

The guys.. and by guys I guess...Jensen, Julian, Hoge.....Mark...etc...have taken up tennis. No idea why the sudden craze but they chose the sunniest and rainiest days to play. The weather's been crazy with really cold mornings...disastrous mid days and strange hot but cold afternoons.

I played with Brandon over the weekend and eee.. I can serve.. and hit it back once or twice.. lmao.. yay!

[BC Lions + FH Bball]

I think FH is raising funds for.... the 30 hour famine. Well we're raising money for something. Apparently Mr Wu and Ms Onneil are going to shave their heads if we raise 1200$. So we had the BC Lions come play basketball against the "Senior" basketball team. They're these huge football players and wooo. They're strong. All they had to do was walk into someone and they'd get knocked over. Beano paid 4 bucks for both of us to get in there. It was worth it I suppose. I wish I had a video camera with me though. Mr Nguyen was at the Trades Fair and when I went to look for him at break, he wasn't there! =( And my mom's been using our video camera every day so I have no chance to use it. Well....I took a bunch of pictures and that was it.

We played Clayton after school. So....now I have to play mix with Corey as well as singles. =T He's been trying to coach me and I've been trying to move my feet more. Seems like our season's about to be over. Mm yea.. in about a month it will be over. Maybe things will change and our season will be just like last year.
