[Conversation between the Jelly and the Bean]

So a couple nights ago Beano and I were talking online and he started talking about religion; Jehovah's Witnesses, Christianity, Buddhism...

He came across a website, 101 Strange Beliefs... Very very odd. Our favourites are:

[j] e l l y <3 [b] e a n Miss You says: (11:29:20 PM)jw cannot wear jade jewelry
[j] e l l y <3 [b] e a n Miss You says: (11:29:42 PM)you must not own wind chimes
[j] e l l y <3 [b] e a n Miss You says: (11:29:48 PM)they are for chasing away evil spirits

Challenger Deep says: (11:35:15 PM)lol
Challenger Deep says: (11:35:21 PM)shun the non-believer!!!!

Then we started watching videos on metacafe and he wouldn't go to bed. So he started talking and said we'd live in paradise one day.

Challenger Deep says: (1:53:22 AM)http://www.mauiarts.com/Gallery-2005/Images/Paradise-Found.jpg and we would live forever in paradise
[j] e l l y <3 [b] e a n Miss You says: (1:53:44 AM)lmao

[At World's End]

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Ahhhh I saw Pirates yesterday. It's soooo good. 3 hours of sitting but it's all worth it. There was just one part where Jack is in Davey Jone's locker and he's having hallucinations so there's a whole crew. Like 30 Jack's running around all at once. Kinda strange. But oh well it's JD. =P

This one was the best out of all 3. Ahh just thinking about it makes me feel all funny inside. =P. There were pirates of all different races. Japanese, African, Indian, French, Chinese (Singaporeon I guess. They made Singaporeon pirates fat!!)

So the story basically goes back to the beginning where it started. It's got sucha sad ending too. Aw I love it. The monkey does a lot of scenes in this one too. So cute. They had one scene in the arctic and everything was frozen. They got the monkey to sit and look sad and cold. So cute.

Hmm one thing though. They showed swords piercing through people a lot. And some parts were pretty gross for little kids to watch. I thought this was a Disney movie.

[HYAK White Water Rafting]

Both Geology classes went water rafting yesterday. The HYAK bus picked us up from school. Milross said "Meet at the big rock in front of school!". Everyone sat on the stairs by the big tree. When Milross comes, he goes "My god you guys! All of you fail Geology. I said the big rock! Not the big tree!"

Well anyhoo. Big blue bus picked us up and we were on our way to Chilliwack. I think it took about 45 minutes to get there. Then we had a bit of an orientation. Got our wet suits. Then another 30 minute drive up river.

"Hey you guys look, the fresh water squid!" What? Where? Everyone turns. Milross takes his paddle and splashes water into everyones faces.

When we got there, we split up into groups and got into our rafts. I was with Milross, his daughter, nephew, Janette, Kristy, Ming and the other Kristy. The water was freezing omg. We were pretty much freezing our butts off all day. It was fun. We got to see cut aways by the river edge. Janette was screaming out Geology terms the entire way down river. "IGNEOUS!!! IIIIIGNEEEEOUSSSSS. CONGLOMERATE. EARTHQUAKE!!! ANTICLINE!!" Yea from start to finish, constant yelling. So the guides learnt lots about rocks and rock formations from us and we learnt more about the water... the eddies and way the water runs. Oh and all the sign language that the rafters use.

There was a little Australian dude in a kayak. He was our safety guide. He'd go ahead and watch for rocks and what not. Kristy was so amazed by him. He did a roll in his kayak! Underwater.

So for about 40 minutes we paddled down some rough water. Then we stopped for lunch. They had a "make your own sandwich" thing for us and some snacks. Mmmm =)

It took us about another hour and a half to get to our stop. We went through some pretty rough water. Ah fun. Janette still screaming the entire time. =P. One of the other rafts flipped themselves over infront of us. Lol the guides said they did that on purpose.

When the guys were behind us, they tried to pull us into the water. Then they tried pulling Milross in.

Well we drove back to the main office, got dressed and hopped on the bus for another hour ride home. =)

[Athletic Banquet 2007]

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket The baby at the end is Wanta's little sister, Jenna. So cute!

And so our high school badminton season officially comes to an end. Well I guess maybe not. We haven't had our wind up yet.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Suprised that I got Team Leader again this year. Another rock to at to my shelf of ....rocks and painted metal. Last year's trophy was just ugly. They're getting better. Still pretty ugly though. It's basically a piece of concrete with parts hand painted with gold.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Once again, we are unsuccessful at getting every single team member in our picture. But I guess badminton had the most players show up. This morning when we took team pictures, it was hectic. People running all over the place.

Sylvia sent me Piotr Mazur playing at US Nationals. So crazyyyy. And we got to meeeet hiiiiim. Wooooo =)

[Joey's Business Project]

flourheads.jpg Joey and her friends have to come up with some sort of product that will sell in their school. Joey decided to make these flour heads. You see them in those knick knack shack places and in fairs and stuff. Basically balloons packed with flour and you can squeez'em in to shapes. Oh actually, Joey's store is called the "Knick Knack Shack". So every day this week, Lisa, Vivian and Eileen have been coming over to blow up, fill, and attach hair to these balloons.

[Kindergarteners]

Kindergarteners came to visit the past couple of days. They usually go to the foods classes to help bake cookies and cupcakes and what not. At break while waiting for their stuffs to be cooked, they're allowed to roam around the school with their student partners. So they came to visit us in Geology...

Milross: Hi~ Come on in! (In a very odd voice. Very odd.)
Someone: Hey why are you so nice to them.
Milross: These are stinky grade 12s. You don't wanna touch them. What's your name?
Shirley (I think?): Shirley
Milross: Oh what a pretty name!

*Kindergarteners leave*

Keith: How come you didn't say I had a pretty name when I told you.
Milross:..Uh......Coz.. it's not a pretty name. Imagine that. Oh Keith.. what a purtty name. Then I'd have to compliment you on something you did well everyday. Oh you wore your shoes.. goodly... today.
Keith: Yea I dressed all by myself.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

The weather's finally cleared up and we've been having tons of sun the past couple of weeks. Well I guess excluding that..torrential downpour over the weekend. I sat outside for part of lunch on Tuesday.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

In Geo, we played with clay. I actually have a video of it. But it's too big a file right now. We did a lab on Anticlines and Synclines using clay. Later on Milross gave us time to make whatever the heck we wanted. And then formed a humungo meteor with a big amount of clay and "Oh world's strongest man going to the bathroom. Then a huge meteor comes and BAM!" It was funny when he did it in our lab. I went back to film the second class's lab and when he did it wasn't funny at all. O well.

So for all of Wednesday, I played with clay. =P Clay in the morning in Geo, Clay in the afternoon in Art. I think I'll try the potter's wheel tomorrow. Yay =D

[70th Annual Washington State Open]

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket On our way

So after sitting through Geology and English, I went home with Brandon to get my stuff and were supposed to meet Tony at FH Rec. Just as we reached 160th, I see a blue van drive by. "Hey that's Tony!". He stopped at the side and waited for us and we went to pick Sylvia and Ingrid up.

Beano and Sylvia argued the entire way to the border. He took out his SP and played Harvest Moon. =P He looks just like the little dude with his cap.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

So basically we did the same thing. Had to get off at the border to get our visas. All was cool until I get stopped by one of the officers at the counters. He goes "Hey you come here. Let me see that". I had 3 extra green cards coz I asked for them. He goes "You're going to be charged for this." I kept telling him the lady gave them to me. He had this reeeeeally mean look on his face. After a while he said "Ok you can go". His expression remained the same. My god!! Are they that bored that they have to pull something like that!!! Scared me.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Everyone met up at BK for food and then we were on our way again.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Brandon asks me how long it'd take and I wasn't sure. I told him 20 minutes lol. Well more like 2 hours. I don't remember. =P Last year I think I slept the entire way. Well we kept driving and driving and driving and driving. Soon, we were in Seattle!! Omg.... Dave missed the exit and we went straight to Seattle. Brandon was going crazy he started singing. Mary Had a Little Lamb. Bingo. Bongo.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

We played our games shortly after arriving and checking in to the hotel. There were so many of us. Probably 20 ish. 2 van, 1 car. We were back pretty late Friday night. Our games didn't finish until. Or well.. my game finished early. Tony and Jessica were the last people to finish that night. We were out of the club at around 10:30 - 11ish. Dropped off our stuff once again and went

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

We pretty much had to break up and move around in little groups this time. People were everywhere. And the ride situation got frustrating. But it all worked out in the end. For dinner, we split into 2 groups. Raf's van went to Denny's. Tony's went to Red Robins. Lol But even though we were in different places, Denny's and Red's were across the street from each other.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

I can't remember how EVERYONE did. Beano and I finished our mix in 3 games. It was too tough to play not having much practice. Jensen and Waina didn't make it either. Mm Hogen and Grace. OHHH Beano and I almost beat Hogen and Grace. But yea.. coz they weren't playing very well. We had lotsa good shots too though.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

The gym was just as stuffy as last year. This time they didn't provide fruits =(. Just icky lemon gatorade. Gross. Tasted like sick water.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Saturday night buffet. All of us had a long table. I think we were only there for a half hour. Everyone ate. Chilled. Talked. Seemed to be lotsa drama going on. I was starving all day. And I think I was dehydrated all weekend too. That's what made me soooo tired. Couldn't do anything at the end of the day. I just fell right to bed and Zzzzzzz. I had bed hair all weekend long. =P Hehe. Peter got mad at me for not doing my hair.

The guys were up and about all night doing stuff though. I think the coaches a few rooms down were playing poker. The guys were colouring their hair and... I think they played Hide and Seek. =P So funny. Karl's so awesome. He's the guy who planned out our trip for us. He wrote up a schedule and rules and everything. "Here are the rooms that are booked. Appoint one member to go check in. DON'T order a pull out cot! That means they'll know there's more than 2 people in a room! NO ONE TAKES MY ROOM!"

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Day 3 came really fast (I feel strange even now. The weekend went by so quickly. One minute we were all looking forward to this. Now it's over. I think it'll be cool to come back again next year. Who knows what everyone will be doing then.) On day 3, some of us had no games. So we basically did lotsa watching all day. Brandon fell in love with Piotr Mazur. He's ranked #1 in the US. He called him Superman. We think he's Danish. He's pro. We watched his doubles game against these two asian guys who screamed after EVERY rally. Non stop screaming. ARRRRRAAAAGHAAAAAH!!!!! So awesome. That was suchan intense game. And it was only semi finals. Finals was crazy.

We'd go up to the court after each match and salvage the hundred birdies they use in each game. I think for the pro matches they'd use at least 6 birds. We found one that looked like it were untouched. Perfect birdie. After his match, I got him to sign the birdies we found =P. Jensen was so funny. He asked for a picture. Asked him to sign his towel. His bag. His birdies. And to shake his hand. He was like "Omg ... He touched me...ahhhh!!!"

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

So our weekend had to come to an end. Ah..... next!! Grad. This is just half of our group. The others left earlier to go shopping. Beano's mom was supposed to pick us up on her way home from visiting. So we waited at the club for a couple hours. We stayed in the cafe and played solitaire. Then I decided we should check out the place and go swimming. Beano wasn't too keen. But I managed to get him in to at least the hot tub. He watched me swim a bit then we washed up and hung out in the cafe again. He taught me how to play poker once again. I keep forgetting how. Lol I think he'll have to re-teach it to me one more time. Just as I got it, his mom came. I love the conditioner at the club. It made my hair all shiny. First it was greasy when I ran my hands through it. But the day after. It looked like.. barbie hair. =P.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

We went to grab some food. Mmm Jack in the Box. =D!!!! Yummy. Well then we got stuck in a LONG line of traffic. Hurrah. Beano's mom was going nuts. Lol she's so funny. She was just screaming and making herself all worried. Talking to herself. It was kinda strange at first. I'm not sure if I got used to it near the end though. I guess I just started ignoring it. She was like "OMG OMG OMG OMG. Look at this traffic!! My car!! It's heating up!! Look at that car! Brandon do you see that guy! He's trying to cut in!!" Brandon just sat there and laughed. Lol. I think I got home around 9:30. Which was pretty good. Everyone else got back around 11. Yea I was home alone with Pepper until around 1. Eeee..

HooOOOOOHHHLidayyyy.

So all of us leave for Bellevue, Washington tomorrow. Tony's picking us up around lunch time and we should be off at 12. =) I can't wait. However, I still have to go to Geology and do a "quest", a cross between a quiz and a test. And then I'll have to sit through English with 'Mr Wolfe'. I love his shoes.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket I think this was on...Saturday.. or Sunday. I went downstairs and EVERYONE was on the computer.

Milross going over a test.
"Number 32 is D. D as in DEHHHHH"

Milross explaining correlation. He got really into rhyming today.
"Lemme talk to you about correlation for the nation in this free demonstration."

"Let me tell you. What you're supposed to do. That you already did with Mr Lu."

Milross talking about evolution and why we are what we are.
"Why's it necessary to have hair there? It was necessary when we were there.......Sam I am.."

"Back when we were tree swinging, poo flinging critters..."

["Those who can't do, teach"]

So I've been tutoring this grade 8 kid for a couple months now. Technically a month coz he didn't show up for like 3 weeks. Grrr I'm never tutoring ever again. People are too inconsiderate. For 3 weeks, I was kept waiting for him and have him not show up. So his mom got very pissed that I hadn't been tutoring and I told her that it's because of him not showing up. He doesn't put in an effort even when he's with me either. So I wrote his mom a very angry email. Ah that felt good. And she got uber pissed at me. Psh. Whenever I call her, she's either not there, or I get directed to voice mail or she answers and tells me she'll phone back in 10 minutes which she never does and I'm kept waiting. I've been kept waiting for him numerous times with no email or call letting me know that he wouldn't be able to make it. She writes me mails that never go through and tells me that she did then gets mad at me for not replying. She doesn't even pay me for the time I've spent standing outside that room. I missed the Lower Frasers Doubles tournament coz of him and he didn't even show.

I think I've let out my rage almost everywhere. Don't know if I'll ever let it go. So she still hasn't replied my email since the last time she spazzed at me. But her son decided to pop up out of no where 3 weeks later. I don't think he's going to show tomorrow. He said he would. Brandon has decided to help me tutor him. He went over the essay I assigned him and they did a pretty good hour's work. He's still just as lazy. But Brandon has more control. I can't work with someone who doesn't want to work.

[Fraser Valleys - End of our High School Badminton Career]

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

So we played our final matches today at Port Moody. We left at 7:45 and played our first games at 9. Corey and I weren't playing so well. Not as great as Lower Frasers. But o well.. We placed 2nd. Won everything up until we had to play Kyle and Caris (PT) in finals AGAIN. Yea we lost pretty badly. =( Boooo

Overall we did good. Jensen had to play Matt again in finals. It was like Fraser Valleys 06 all over again. 3 games. Games all go up to 20-20. And then Jensen chokes. Well this year they weren't playing for 4th and 5th. It was 1st and 2nd. So it wasn't too hard on Jensen when he lost. 2nd place. I'm not sure how Simon and Raf did. Sylvia and Waina placed 2nd. Couldn't beat Angela and her partner. Lol it's like that every year. We did that last year too. =( And hmm.. Sandy and Peter.. oh and Corey.. I think Corey placed.....5th. Yea.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

FH got 42 points. Semi got 43. They beat us by one! And yea got the banner. GRRRR. Well we got the league trophy. Jensen really wanted to hold it. It was so funny. So there's us and Semi.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

After badminton, some of us went to Red Robins for our victory dinner. =) And that's that.. High School Badminton's over. Now... Washington! THEN it's over.

[Dino Poo]

We've moving on to dating fossils after rocks. Milross took out his lump of dinosaur poo again. I never noticed it before and he never explained it last year, how fossils are really formed. Guess it wasn't in the curriculum in Earth Science. Well today he explained that there are actually minerals growing within the poo. Which is pretty crazy. Lmao he said he paid 8 bucks for it. My parents don't believe that it's real. I think it is. It's all hard and heavy and brown and it's got quartz crystals grown in it.

Just me.. running around.. hitting the bird. This was our team playoffs against PT and Semi. Really doesn't look like I'm doing much eh?

["I'm having so much fun today!"]

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket My clay horsey

So I presented my novel today. It was.. well.. Jeff did a really good job at presenting so I had to try not to look at the sheet and read. But yea.. o well. I'm glad it's over with. We had all sorts of weird discussions about sex ed and what not. MacRae found it very amusing talking about her grade 8 sex ed class. She said the girls and guys got split up and had discussions which were completely opposite from each other. Girls talked about relationships and what do to what not to do. Stuff like having a boyfriend who has a car or is older or younger. Guys on the other hand asked questions like.. Can you get STDs from "boob sex". What on earth is boob sex?

When we thought the sex stuff was all through, somehow we managed to pop it back into context when working on a grammar sheet. Something about Tracy shaking vigorously. Because of the verbs matching the nouns. Tracy's supposed to be shaking a bottle of root beer. But if written wrong, could mean Tracy was shaking vigorously. Jeremy found that really amusing.

[Lives of Girls and Women]

I got up at 11. Started reading my book at 11:45 downstairs with Joey. Then moved upstairs to the guest room and stayed in there for about 5 hours. I didn't move. I only left the room once to go to the washroom. There are so many things going on in my head. Now I have to write up a presentation.

-11:37pm- Canadian Novel Project Pt II
It's almost 12 and I'm still working on my project. The nervousness in my stomach has disappeared. I've read my presentation so many times I feel like I've already presented. Oh no, it's coming back. =S. I just finished writing 5 dialectical journals in hmm half an hour? 45 minutes. My presentation took about 2 hours. And now I need to finish one more journal, find some visuals (I think I'll paint a picture of a farm or something). Then if I'm still good, I'll write the essay about Canadian Literature. I need some caffeine. Wewt beer.

[Happy Birthday Lily and Raf]

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

We celebrated Lily and Raf's birthdays yesterday. All of us went to Krissy's to make a dish. Or that was the plan at least. I went out to Superstore with my mom in the morning then came home and made potato salad, pasta salad and brownies. Mmm lol. For the potato salad I used mayo, mustard, salt and pepper. For the pasta.. I was gonna do the same thing but Brandon said mayo's bad. So I looked for an alternative but ended up using mayo -- garlic mayo! Diane liked it. =P The brownies were good too. I've never done that recipe before. Didn't call for baking powder or soda but it was mm mm gooood.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Hmm let's see.. Alice made Hand Rolls (Sushi rolls), Lily made Sweet Potato Fries, Adam brought Fish Fingers, Julian made this Steamed Egg Dessert, Raf made this noodle called Pan..Tai?, Krissy made Cheese Cake, Diane made Chilli (Extrememly spicy), Jensen and Jane brought drinks. Hmmm well there was a LOT of food.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

After eating a bit, we went out to Fraser Woods to chill. Hung out at the field.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Julian really wanted to play Grounders. So... us teenagers took over the entire playground.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Yea... the entire playground

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

We just had a few people missing. Then it'd be perfect. Our entire group.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

After that, Adam, Lily and Alice taught Krissy's dad how to play poker while everyone else watched Underworld. Julian was busy steaming his Egg Dessert thingy. By 10:30, all of us were lazing around on the couches. Julian kept laughing. It was silent except for him laughing about absolutely nothing. And the funny thing is everyone else just laughed coz of it. We talked about the weird things we've all laughed at. Like farts...flies...spoons with holes in em.

[Lower Fraser Valleys: Summary]

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

So I got crushed in singles. I ran around on an empty stomach, won the first game then got crushed by Jessica (FVC). Right after her first serve, I decided, nah. Lol. Sylvia and Waina, my faithful fans, "We love you Jamie!. Jessica you suck!" Well it's Jessica. lol. She won the whole tournament so. Well.. the games after that, I just died and decided to save my energy for mix.

Corey and I pwned. We creamed everyone. Or well.. we did well. We didn't cream Kyle and Ca..Calis? I don't know her name (Pinetree). We won by 1 point, 21-19. Ok two in the third set. Very very close. But yea, first. Woooo. =)

It's already past 11 and I had planned to do some reading tonight but I guess tomorrow I'll have to do more and maybe read in class, I'll ask MacRae if I can go to the library to read in that block. Then I have some scholarship forms to fill, shower to take. Then.. I can sleep. Yay. I don't feel tired at all. In fact I'm wide awake. Maybe I'll find the time to continue this post tomorrow with more pictures. Or I'll save it for our slide show. =P
