[Jobs]

So Jme wants a job. Jme has to go look for a job. In order to get a job, Jme has to write a resume, which Jme did. She folded it up and placed it nicely in an envelope. Later on she found an application online for Superstore. She fills it in and places it in the envelope. It's now sitting on her desk waiting to be sent to Superstore.

My dad gave me this site. It's got all the jobs available in Canada. I found a couple:

Audio Visual Technician

No experience necessary yet when I checked their website, it says they hire only the best. I have no experience. How to get a job!!!! All they're asking for is completion of high school.

[L]

L.jpg I had my entire week planned out. Today I went out and took my learners or I guess my parents call it the -highway code-. I spent an hour in the morning doing online tests over and over. Lol. I'd say I did pretty good considering I didn't read every single word in the manual and just quizzes for a week. =) I stood at the booth poking at the answers. Each time I got one incorrect there'd be a huge red rectangle and big letters saying -incorrect-. The red just puts you off, gets you all worried inside. In my head I counted how many I had wrong and they just kept adding on. Lol. I went through all of them 3 times. The last question (the winning question!) was the very first question. There's a picture of a lady stepping onto the street to cross. No crosswalk and "I'm" in the car. Lol I stood there for so long trying to figure it out. But yes.... ding ding ding Jmerz is now one step closer to being a licensed driver!! Now only....um.. 1 and 2 more years to go! If I had taken this test when I turned 16, I would be able to drive alone by now. O well.

My dad bought us Blizzards from DQ after. Hehehe

[DY's Di Di]

The 2 entries are flipped. This is what we did yesterday.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

We visited "The Chans" and the addition to the family. I believe his name is Da-Wei. We were over there for the majority of the day. Lunch was chicken, fries, potato salad, coleslaw, and gravy from Lee's. Mmmm so gooooood. I had that for dinner as well. Da-Wen is so tiny. I got to cradle him and watch him make funny faces at me.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

When we got home, I biked out to Fraser Woods. Kicked a soccer ball around for an hour with Brandon, Dustin and eventually Wesley. The koreans came by around 6ish and the game started at 6:30. I sat and watched the entire game. Usually I have to leave at half time and never get to finish the game. I've decided... I'm gonna make a soccer video. Wooot.

[Car Wash with the "TC" people]

10 O'clock A.M. : Phone rings. Mom comes in and gives me the phone. Says it's Lily. Lily goes -Jme, wanna do something meaningful today?- Jme goes -Um...sure.. and what would that be?- -Washing cars for charity- -Yea ok!- She dragged Diane out of bed as well. I looked out the window from my bed and ick.. it was dark. When I went downstairs, the ground was all wet. Jme goes -Car wash in the rain!!?!-

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

I got dressed, washed up, went in search of buckets and rags and my dad dropped us both off at Husky Gas Station across from NSS. I got breakfast at Mac D's. =P Mmmm good breakfast. Muffin, egg, sausage, cheese. *mouth waters* O.J., hasbrown. Mmmmm~

At first not many cars came by. Car wash at 11 am? It was cold too. There were soooo many people from Lily's. Ok.. forgot to mention WHAT we were doing this for. Lily has a taiwan foundation group type thing that she's a part of. So they were raising money for Surrey Memorial Hospital. They're all Taiwanese I believe. Diane and I were feeling uber awkward from time to time. People kept talking to her in chinese and she just kinda knodded lol and hid behind me. =P. She was very amused with the foam coming out of the sponges. There were so many people there that it was just a mess. They were horrible car washers too. I watched the first car (not one of their friend's cars) go off with specks of dirt still stuck to the front.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

In total...we... although they prob did more, collected almost 400$. So I'd say that's pretty good for about 5 -6 hours of washing.

Diane and I chilled though.. lol we came home early coz I got really cold and her legs were tired. We kinda just... laid around.. talked.. not much.

Tmr I have to go down to A.i to get my student loan fixed and then try for my L on Tuesday (at long last). Wednesday maybe find a job. Maybe fireworks on Saturday. And perhaps start work by next week.

This was after I had pushed my hair back behind my shades and gotten it wet after being out on the field playing soccer with the guys

Dad's hair: Coarse and wavy
Mom's hair: Straight, short and spiky
My hair: Short/straight/wavy/coarse/spiky at times

[Too many things to do]

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
This was a couple minutes before leaving for the airport.

There's so much to do. So much so I don't even know where to begin. I've spent 3 days cleaning my room, trying to throw stuff out. It's all just sitting in the hallway. I want to print pictures and continue scrapbooking but it'd take so much time to fix the pictures and stuff. I've taken the driving test online a bunch of times. Started with 68%...then went up to 96%.. then the test popped up with new questions and I went down to 92%... after that I remembered all the questions so...100%!! I don't know if the real test is gonna be like that though. Coz if it is, then I don't see how so many people could fail the first time. It's pretty straight forward except for a couple that are worded strangely.

Hmm what else have I been up to. I've been..meaning to start work on the Fashion Show. Lol It was supposed to be done ages ago. And I can't start until my desk is cleared. However I'm still in the midst of cleaning so that won't work. I've been watching movies. Hanging out with Beano.. Diane.. I did up my resume and it's all nicely folded and placed in envelopes. I probably won't go lookin' until next week. That gives me some time to clear up my mess and hang out a bit more =P. Fireworks next week. =D

Once I get my student loans fixed at A.i, I shouldn't have too much to worry about. Ahh...

[Now what]

Our plan was to go to the US to "veg". That didn't happen since we were clearly on-the-go for the past 3 weeks. At the end of our trip, my mom said "ok so we're going home to veg". Well that's not happening. She's been up and about buying groceries, unpacking the ton of clothes we got from all the outlets, washing the ton of clothes that we got from the outlet. Joey's been busy throwing out old toys from her closets so that her room can be renovated. She's tired of the baby blue and yellow combination. She decided that primary colours are clearly for people in -primary school- and that since she's on to high school, that it'd be good to mix those two colours. Green! I just thought of that right now. Strange. My dad's been playing with his new toys. He got a GPS (with the GPS lady or man who can tell you to turn right on the next exit in a thousand different languages) and a new set of Sennheiser headphones)

I've been walking around the house. When I got up my parents went to superstore. In my head I keep telling myself that I have tons of things to do. I have to clean my room which I did before we left. I wiped down all the cupboards and vacuumed and everything! But the dust came back! Boooooo dust. So I thought I should wipe them down again. Yea but I never got to that. I blogged. Transfered pictures for my dad. Read through my student loan application sheet. Called my -financial advisor- (That sounds so cool) at Ai. Called Brandon. Eventually I decided I'd throw out some stuff too. I got a bunch of bags and went through a couple boxes in my closet. I can't part with these things! They hold so many memories!! Well after filling a bag I gave up (for now). I met Diane at the waterpark and we re-capped everything that happened in the past 3 weeks.

I'm sitting here right now waiting for the movie to start. My dad found time when we were away to download a TON of movies. We're watching Mr Bean's Holiday now.

[San Gregorio Beach]

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
This is us watching the waves. Still too scared to walk into the water. Ally goes COME ON JAMIE.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
This is us when we decided let's jump into the water and ride the waves with our boogie boards! Ally goes YOU JUST HAVE TO GET USED TO IT. I look at her and say You make it sound SOOO easy.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
And this is us.....after we were swallowed by the extremely cold monstrous current. I drank so much salt water after that one wave that pulled us both in. The air felt extremely warm after we got out (the air by the beach was extremely cold prior to jumping into the water. Yes.. the water was ice cold.) I laid on the sand and fell asleep for about 45 minutes. It was still pretty cold.

[Sea Horse Ranch]

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket "Black Jack"

As our trip comes to an end, we've been having days here and there with no plans. Ally and Joey wanted to go horse-back riding so..... Everyone hopped into the van and we drove about half an hour to a ranch by the beach. You rent the horse for 2 hours and in a group with other people and 2 guides, we rode on a trail and then onto the beach and back. The horses were so grumpy though. They probably had been walking out in the sun all morning already. It was a pretty hot day out too. We had about 10-15 of us out there with horses that were kicking and biting each other. Bunch of fat ladies who were sweating their horses like crazy.

Everyone was so tired when we got home. All the adults are flopped on the beds fat asleep. Jo and Ally are sitting in front of the TV watching Life with Derek.

[Great America cont.]

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Our day at the Nick Theme Park

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
More Invertigo. We sit in buckets with a harness and the carts get pulled up a slope. The buckets go both ways so you can pick whether you want to sit backwards or frontwards. We are suspended in the air for about 5 seconds then dropped and pushed around a corkscrew followed by a couple loops and then back up another slope. The ride then goes backwards through all the loops back to the entrance.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
We just had to

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
This was the worst ride. Usually Pirate ships swing. This one swings ...and swings.. and swings upside down and suspends you in the air for a good 5 seconds upside down.

[Night time]

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Our caricatures from Great America

So last night, Joey decided that I got too close to her again and elbowed me. When I screamed at her this morning, she said she had no recollection of doing so. However, she remembers that I was too close and got very annoyed that I was "squishing her to the edge of her side" while Ally had her arm swung on to her pillow. BUT that's the exact same thing she did to me on the first night we were here.

PX100W_hires.jpgMy dad ordered 2 pairs of headphones here. They arrived on Aunty Kay's doorstep last night. The postman just left it there. Anyone could have come by and taken it. Well... I opened mine. =) Purrtty white ones. They sound so goood. Compared to the little iPod ones I've been using lol.

Now everyone can listen to my music. =P If I turn it on loud enough I can almost block everything off. I think the 200s were designed for that.

My mom was talking to me this morning and eventually she was like "Can you hear me or are you reading my lips!!!!" =P

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket Yesterday we drove down to Monterey Bay to do some site seeing. We visited the lighthouse.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
The beach. Cousins, sister and mothers went to splash around in the water while Uncle Tom and I sat in the sand under the shade. We played tic tac toe and pictionary. =P He's so funny. And horrible at pictionary.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

After that we went to get food at a seafood restaurant. Some clam chowder place. I think I've tried almost all the caesar salads in California. So far.... the Elephant Bar and Disney's are the best.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

We walked down to the aquarium to see the fishies and -other aqua marine organisms-. Mmm.. It wasn't that big. But good enough for a small town aquarium. There were fishies.... ikan bil....iz..../anchovies. Um...Tuna...sharks...a turtle (poor thing). And some very strange fish, the sunfish. I've never ever heard of it. It was big, flat, and ugly. And I guess part of it somewhat looked like a sun. Mmm we saw.. otters.. kelp...sea cucumbers..abalones...urchines.. jelly fish... crabs.. snails.. penguins. Yea. The night ended with ice cream from Baskin Robins. =P

[Scary dreamer]

So I went to sleep around 12....ish. Joey and Ally were asleep as usual. I got into bed and rolled around for a bit coz the beds uber squishy. Then all of a sudden, Joey starts talking to herself... Or maybe that didn't come first.. At some point, she mumbled something and I got up and pulled the blanket to my side. She started at me with these very very scary beadly eyes with a twinkle from the night light and then all of a sudden she whipped her hand across and smacked me where I held the blanket away from her. O my god. She's so scary at night. I don't even know if she was really awake and pissed that I'm not asleep or something or if she was sleep talking and .....dreaming I guess. Coz after she started talked to herself again. Ahhhhh so scary. This morning she woke up all grumpy! =(. But but but... she hit me!

[Great America]

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

I'm only allowed 15 minutes more on the computer (cept Aunty Kay's clock is 10 minutes ahead which means I have only 5!) coz Sean has to go at 12...so the rules apply to me too I guess. =(! So I'll make it quick.

We went to Great America today. It's like a more extreme version of Disney but it's all Nickelodeon characters. I like it better than Disney actually. + It's cheaper. Lol. Way cheaper. It's a larger and better version of Playland

Jo and I went on pretty much all the rides except the water ones and the really kiddie ones. This one was our favourite. Invertigo. Hoo Hoo Hoo >=D!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

More hair! Here's right after I took my shower. My hair's straight and porcupiney like my mom's when it's wet. It's EXACTLY like hers here.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

And here's when it's dry and wavy. I like my wave. =P

Sean, Ally, Jo and I, along with Phil and his kids went out this morning to watch HP! It's only 6-7$ for us to watch a movie. Ah. It was good. According to Joey's friends it was a disappointment. I think all of the movies have been pretty equal. But I guess the reason they thought this one wasn't as good was because at the -peak- of the movie, it wasn't all that exciting. Not for long anyway. Voldemort comes and goes quite fast.

Tomorrow we'll be at Great America!! Wooo >=D! I saw a couple videos of the rides. Mwahahah!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

And here's what happens after we spent a day at the park. My aunt says...everyone has to do somethig as long as we're out of the house. My mom got to ride the scooter. My cousins and I got back home earlier than they did. Just as we stepped into the house, the phone rings. My aunt said my mom had a fall and they'd be walking home. Well...now we know why adults don't go to the park to scooter. =P

[You look like your mom!]

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Lol I guess as long as I have short hair, I'll look like my mom. Or unless I had back my uber long hair. I like it. My hair's wavy unlike my mom's. But when it's wet it goes straight and spikey, like my mom's. I wanna put on a toque and make it go all soft. Then my mom will tell me it's flat. But it gets so hard right after I wash it.

Oh yea.. so..My aunt has a friend who has been cutting hair for 11 years now. She placed me on a chair in the garage. No salon. Just a chair. And she took out her crazy thinning scissors and worked her magic. She was really nice too. And voila. Jmerz with uber short spikey hair.

I guess now I have to change my header.

[Bye Bye Desert, Hello San Francisco]

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Nuff' of the heat. We arrived back from Vegas yesterday... no.. day before late at night.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

The next morning, yesterday.... I think......Aunty Elizabeth and family came to stay for dinner. Mut and Kadie stayed over with us. We watched Night at the Museum.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

This morning we drove down to San Fran today and walked the streets of Chinatown. Icky.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

I figured that since we were in Chinatown, that I should bring out my.. um.. "inner fob". Didn't know I had it in me. =P.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

We had lunch in this very icky chinese restaurant. Reminded me of Ipoh. It was dirty, smelly.... lol the food was alright. I sat at the table all cringed up with a paper towel spread across in front of me and I watched the chef.. chop his lemons.. then the cauliflower.... then count his money... and go back to the cauliflower... then some raw meat... ick... gross. I sat there sipping the ice water wondering whose germs I could possibly be pouring into my body.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Tomorrow I'll be getting a haircut. I spent my afternoon eating coffee ice cream and looking at emo hairstyles. Ah. She'll prob do something completely different. Sometime.. next week.. hrrm... Tuesday? We're gonna go see Harry Potter.. and and.. hmm.. that still leaves us with almost a week with nothing special to do.

One day for movie
One day for hair
One day for ........walking.... apparently.. hiking... trekking...
One day for ....... for...........

[What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas]

Not that.. anything bad happened or anything

Day one in Vegas, everyone was so hot and grumpy and tired from the long car ride through the desert. We reached our hotel, The Monte Carlo, around 6 and were given half an hour to rest, wash up and be ready to do more walking.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

We went out to get dinner at the food court and after the M&M factory and Coke factory. They were more like stores.

Day two, Jo and I stayed in the hotel all day. =). Yep. We laid in bed all day while the Oey's went down to swim under the hot hot sun. Later on in the evening, my aunt, mom and I walked down to the next hotel. The Bellagio. To watch "O" by Cirque Du Soleil. Ahhhh it's so awesome. They had a water stage.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

We weren't allowed to take any photos during the show and ushers were running around trying to get people to put their cameras away. Some guy got caught later on. I think they made him delete all his photos.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Ah but it was so awesome, the show. The stage opened up with a pool of water. Shallow water and all the actors were walking through. Eventually these swimmers popped up from underneath out of "nowhere". And the pool was much deeper. Throughout the entire show, this stage floor just kept rising and sinking.

The music was played live. The singers were up in these booths on the sides and everything was done there and then on the spot. So awesome. =)

[California Screamin']

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Our favourite ride at Disney. California Screamin'. Ally and I sat in the back a couple times. On our last run, we decided, ok we're going right to the front. Wooo. Most rides start of slow, and once the carts reach the peak of the ride, is where the fun stuff begins. This one shoots up the ramp right from the start.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

The other ride we had nice photos of was the.... I don't even know what it's called. Bigger version of the hellavator. Paradise...Pier.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Another ride like this one was the Hollywood Tower of Terror. The story is .. a family of movie stars checked in to this hotel and when they got in to the elevator, something happened and they got zapped away. The elevator broke down and the cables got chopped up so the elevator fell. But instead of being shot up really fast, this one brings you up at a decent speed and drops you numerous times. That one got me on the edge of my seat. My heart was gonna go flying out through my throat.

I think some time next week, we'll be going to..... Magic Mountain? Uncle Tom said the rides are way more extreme. =D!!!!!! We'll see. It's either that or some huge waterpark thing. Not really interested in jumping into cold water and running around freezing my butt off.

We drove to San Diego this morning and toured the harbour/bay area and went to the Midway Museum. Very cool.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Me infront of the hmm...USS Midway CV - 41 Carrier. The thing was so huge that we couldn't get any pictures of us with the entire ship.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

In the area around the ships, there were parks, gardens, shops.. etc etc. There were these strange looking trees. It was almost as if they weren't real. The bark's super smooth and there weren't any bugs at all.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

We took the harbour tour which lasted about an hour

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

We visited the.. Hmm... K.. the boat was called the Indian something or the something indian. Joey and Ally were very amused by the penny squishing machine. I got me a piece-of-eight-replica lol. It's got the word "copy" on it.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

After walking ALL OVER THE PLACE from one end of the harbour to the other, we finally made it on board the Midway Carrier. It was pimp. At first. After walking below deck in the little cabins and stepping over the "knee knockers" (I forget the real name of those doors that have a ledge you have to step over that prevents water from getting through), it got extremely stuffy and I had a huge headache from all the walking.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Eventually we made it up to the top where all the planes were lined up for everyone to see.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

I was so tired. After a while everyone got really grumpy so we split up on deck and slept on the car ride home. Tmr we're going to disney. 7 a.m. Lol And here I am, blogging.

[Day 5: L.A. Land of castles on desert hills]

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Aunty Elizabeth's house is pretty much a castle on top of a dried up desert hill. Her house is pretty empty but she said she only buys things she really really likes. I like that. =) But the house is very bare.

Well I finally got some quiet time alone. Ever since we arrived we've been constantly shuffled in and out of the steamy van. We've been driving all over the place in the hot hot heat. We've seen lotsa things, bought lotsa clothes. On the drive to L.A., on the highway, there was a car completely in flames. Pretty scary. Uncle Tom drove right by it and you could feel the heat radiating through the side door. Like.. VOOM.

Today we drove around to the mall, to more outlets. I bought more clothes. =) I think I've done my clothes shopping to last me the summer as well as fall and winter. I have about 35$ left and I think I'll save that for disney and vegas. Definately not enough. O well.

Tmr we'll be hopping into the van for another drive. To San Diego. I checked the weather and it's supposed to be around 20-21 degrees celcius. That's not bad at all. That's like.. what it is right now! And it's 12:30 am! L.A. is soooo hot. My god. Apparently it's about 100 degrees fahrenheit. I have no idea how to gage fahrenheit. But weather network says it's 29 degrees here. Or rather 24 degrees but -feels like- 29. Lol Feels like 40. So I'm hoping 21 degress in San Diego will be nice and cool compared to here.

Our story today. We decided to go to the drive-in theatre to watch Transformers and Shrek the Third. It took us 15 minutes to drive downtown. Another 45 minutes to wait in line with tons of cars cutting in. And when we got to the ticket booth, it was sold out. So we drove home and watched Over the Hedge on Uncle Chuck's nice 50 ..or 60 or something inch TV with nice surround speakers that are built-in to the ceiling. So awesome. You can feel the rumbling in your seats when it gets loud. =P

[Day 4: 8 hours on the road]

We were told that today was sleep-in day and that my mom and aunt were going out in the morning to pick up some mattress. We got dragged out of bed at 10 to go drop off Sean's camping backpack. After waiting in the car for about 10 minutes, Aunty Kay drove us to the park. It's a really nice hill and all. But o god the sun. When you're sitting in a hot car with 5 other people, it makes you not wanna do anything. Thought it was gonna be really hot but the breeze was actually chilly. We hiked up the big brown dry grass hill. They started up the trail and I climbed through the grass. Half way up, it hit me that the grass was so bushy that anything could be hiding in there. I yelled down at my aunt to ask her if there were any snakes. She doesn't tell me if there are but says: "I told you that's why you take the trail!". *Gulp*

When we reached the top, we took a bunch of pictures of the San Mateo bridge and the bay. Visited the playground/waterpark and then went for lunch at Noah's Foster City (bagel place).

I waited in the car with the kids while my mom and aunt went to pick up some last minute stuff for the trip. Sean and Ally was so restless. Jumping up and down. Sean had his stinky feet up on the seat. (And we haven't even left for LA yet)

Posted by jme at 1:58 PM | Comments (0)

[Day 3: Costco]

We went to Rei to look for sports....stuffs... today. Yes..... We found......sports stuff...... Well we got 2 plastic containers.. waterproof. =}.

After that. After much walking around, we visited Costco (Yes I know, very exciting). Got groceries for dinner. Jo, Ally and I went around trying free samples. We had, spinach chicken sausage, raviolli, jelly bellies =D, lemonade and apparently rice chips.

We picked up lunch and headed for home earlier than the past two days. Lunch was pretty much done by the time we reached home. We packed our swim stuff and headed to the public pool for a dip. It was way too hot to be lying there. However, too cold to be in the water (gets a little breezy every now and then). And we weren't allowed in before we took some swim test. I was forced to jump into freezing water to swim 2 laps in a baby pool before -not- going into the big pool. Jo, Sean and Ally kinda.. bounced around in the water. Cept Joey was kinda.. shivering and standing around. I sat on the towel in the sun. Big bright sun. And cooked. I'm so dark now.

Aunty Kay brought us to the library to pick up some DVDs for the trip. (We'll be heading off to L.A tomorrow to visit Uncle Tom's sister) I picked out a buncha CDs and a movie. =P Came home and transfered it all to my computer. Hehehe. Some of them didn't work though =(. After my shower, I sat down to watch Garden State. I love the soundtrack. Well... Ally watched it with me and I realized it really wasn't a movie for her to watch. Every other sentence had *beep* or *beep* or *beeeping*. I had to cover her ears. And at some point her eyes too. I loved it though. =) Download time!!

Well Jo Jo and I are just sitting here. It's 12:30 and we can't sleep. Everyone else is gone. I think it was the Starbucks ice cream. And as for Jo, she's got the sniffles.

Uncle Tom and Aunty Kay brought us to the mall today. No idea what the name of it is. I got tons of clothes and a bunch of itty bitty things.

We had lunch at the food court and then went back to Target (where we bought more clothes). Tonight we'll be barbecuing with.....some people. And after we'll go watch 4th July fireworks.

Before boarding, we had breakfast at Timmy's. Iced Capp, Donut, and a breakfast sammich. After the plane took off, I felt so sick. I felt like throwing up and everything was spinning. Very weird. Could have been dinner the night before. Hopefully Beano isn't sick coz he ate the exact same thing. We had a combination of rice, egg, boiled lettuce, left over KFC, and pizza. Not good lol.

Aunty Kay picked us up from San Fran airport which I found out was RIGHT by her house. You can see tons of airplanes taking off and landing from here. We went for Pho =). Then walked and walked and walked tons. Ugh. We walked so much. In and out of all these Japanese and Chinese supermarkets and stores.

When we got back home, I fell right to bed.

Later on in the evening, all of us went out for laser tagging with Sean's boy scout group. It was cool. Tons of little boys running around in the dark.

When we got back everyone was in and out of the shower. I sat by the counter and had a bowl of Starbucks ice cream with Honey Teddy Grahams. =)!!!!!! Mmm Mmm.

[Looking back]

It's been about 2 weeks since we've finished school. But I guess technically a week since everyone had provincials to do.

This was us playing grounders at Erma. Lol I never play though. Jensen, Brandon, Julian, Alice and I think Wesley played that day. I watched.

[Run through: Canada Day 07]

Since Diane's blog is pretty much dead, I will fill in what she wanted to say about our day at the beach on Canada Day.

Yesterday, Sylv, Diane, Beano and I went down to English Bay just as we did last year and the year before that. Raf met us down there. I don't have time to write about everything. But people probably don't want to read about EVERYTHING either. So basically:

Throughout the entire day, we saw.... a lesbian couple (apparently), a gay couple holding hands, drag queens (waiting outside a club), a weirdo (he was talking to someone on his cell phone but using the handsfree thing so it looked like he was spazzing out at himself), strange people who talked to themselves, I think a guy who was autistic? (he waved at everyone on the skytrain), many many many many hobos. We witnessed 2 fights going on at the same bus stop in Surrey Central. One between a white and black guy. The other between a druggy couple. The girl was screaming at him and dragging him by his shirt.

I can't remember if we saw any weirder.
