[First day of school! First day of school!]

Now that I'm starting school, my availability has been changed to just weekends and Fridays. My supervisor saw that I had the same cell phone as him when I came in the other day so he wanted to send me a song. Lmao. "Oh oh Jme! You have the same phone as me! Here I'll send you a song.... Girlfriend!!".. Partway when I was sending it, he looked at all the other songs I had and saw Fall out boy: "Fall out boy!?! Psh I don't want any of your songs!" *walks away* Ah. Whenever I have a change in schedule he text messages me too. So funny.

My mom and I braved the cold and rain this morning and went to Superstore on King George. I got my DS and we did lotsa grocery shopping. Got all our snacks and what not for school. We had to spend at least 250 for the 30$ off coupon. That wasn't too difficult. After my employee discount though, we were 20$ short. So I got Ratatouille for DS (Joey's been playing it all afternoon. I think she's almost done). It ended up only costing me 5 bucks.

Well... school starts tomorrow. At last...

When I came to work, the girl told me some batteries needed labels. I flipped through a couple sheets and went to the front wall to see if anything needed changing. And ok this is at like 5ish. I go out to the stands by the check out lanes to see if any batteries there needed labels. While I was looking at them, the manager on duty today comes by really quickly, walks by and says: "Changing labels so late?" Before I can even tell him that some of the batteries don't have the prices on them, he's long gone. My god. I don't like Superstore anymore. The people are stinky. He came into the department and pointed at a kid: "Where's his dad?" Before I can answer, he's gone again. Maybe people are just so stressed out at their jobs. Maybe they hate their jobs but couldn't get anything better. So they're stuck there.

A guy came in with his cool vintage pentax SLR camera sometime ago. He dropped off a bunch of rolls and was really excited about them. He talked to the photo guy upstairs for so long. He had one more roll in his camera with just one shot left. When I wasn't looking he lifted his camera up and snapped a picture of me. Lol I was like AH! He was a nice dude. Well today, on my till, there was an envelope with my name on it. Inside, 2 copies of the picture he took. I have no time to scan it. But I just took a picture with my phone. It probably lost its effect. I looked at it for a while and thought o god, I look horrible. But I'm looking at it now and it's quite pretty. Everything around me is blurry. =D! I'm thinking "Does that lady need help? I need to clean the PS3 case. I'm off in 2 hours. Photo Guy is still there. Ahhh!"

So when I get to work, my supervisor brings me around and shows me the department. Halo 3's in. The back is all clean. New stock. New movies. yatta yatta. The lady one down from the supervisor tells me what to do and both of them leave me by 5:30. Things were good for a while. I cleaned. I put out labels. I put out stock. Then I get a phone call from Customer Service saying some "Rep" is coming to ask me some questions. I'm thinking "O god". This lady in a blue-pointy-shouldered jacket comes by with her stack of paper and says, hi, I need to ask you some questions. What is this? *points to her sheet of paper with a picture of the 18.98 display*. I show her the display. Answered her questions. Then she asks, how many are there? And I was like...wha.... Then she said... do you know how many of each game you have. My brain.. was like. hookayy........I was like.. well I don't know coz I don't have a way to check and I don't know how to use the price gun to check it. So I went upstairs, asked the manager... and well SHE didn't even know how. She basically told me, "um.. I don't know how.. count them?" Superstore really DOES stink. It has cheap stuff yea. But it stinks. They don't train you and people expect you to know everything. You go into the job not knowing a single thing and just tell you thinks along the way (which I guess is one way to learn... bit by bit)

That brings me to my next point... A lady came by. Said she wanted to pick up her photos. When I asked her for her tag, she said she doesn't have one, never got one. So I asked her if she filled out an envelope when she got her slip. She hands me a receipt showing she already paid. And it was a one hour so she had to have filled out an envelope. But nope. So her photos were not yet printed. All I did was ask her if she filled out an envelope and she blew up in my face like Mt St Helens. I was like ok first of all why are you getting SOOO pissed off at me when I wasn't even the one who served you an hour ago. I went upstairs to ask the photo lady what to do. I was freaking out. So she came down and tried to explain it to her. They ended up just very very very angry at each other. Called the manager. Manager comes, goes upstairs, not a smile on her face, comes back down and tells her to go to customer service for a refund. Over 3 dollars. Thank god the other girl came by to help me. I would have died. One nice rep lady wanting me to count every single item in the store and one uber unreasonable and impatient blow-up-in-my-face lady wanting me to refund her her 3 bucks. I swear to god her face were turning purple. She was so angry her eyes were about to pop out. Her poor kid's gonna grow up to be just like her. Ah I wish the photo lady had screamed at her. She's my hero. Heroine..

[Sports + Brandon = ]

Hockey just started again. Brandon came over on Sunday and went straight for the tv. Ok well he came for me first, THEN the game lol. We watched football and then fought over the controller coz I wanted to watch Nanny 911. He stood right up at the screen like Lucky from 101 Dalmatians, eyed glued to the screen, -barking- every time something got him excited.

Well, I decided to take the grey stripey sweater back. I got a green one instead! In a smaller size too! It looks better. =)

When I was at work the other morning. Sunday morning at 7 a.m., I was cleaning the department. Nothing really to do since there's no one around. I put on Jungle Book II (which everyone was very into throughout the day =P). And I took a look at the DS Lite and games. I put those things out on the shelves everyday but I haven't read any of the descriptions or anything. I looked at Jam Sessions, Ratatouille, and My Sims. I think Imma get one soon. Right now I'm just deciding whether to get one off Craiglist or just wait for the 30$ coupon for Superstore + my discount. My discount however ends at the end of the month. So HOPEFULLY, the coupon comes out this Saturday. Or else I'll have to get one at regular price. O well. I was kinda iffy about Craiglist. But some of the ads have DSs that are still brand new, sealed in the box. I'd save between 20 and 50 dollars.

But yea, I've read and heard lots in the last 2 days so I think I shall get one. Another game to get, Cooking Mama =P

My mom made this strange looking thing for dinner last night. It's a combination of spaghetti, quiche, pizza.....em....yea.. Noodles in a pie shape with egg mixture and roast chicken. Lol.

Is this Jme-ish? I'm trying to find a sweater that would look good with my snug cut jeans...without making me look ...um..emo. It's a black pair of pants I got originally for work. But I think I can't wear those. So now, it's school uniform. =). Maybe the sweater in a darker colour.

Beano brought me to SFU today. He got on the C74 by his place and I hopped on the same one at Esso. We bussed it to Guildford and then Surrey Central THEN to some Millenium track. I've never been on the Millenium Line. We stopped at the University station and then hopped on another bus up the mountain. Ah so much travelling! Reminds me of Singapore, hopping on and off the buses and MRTs. Cept in this case, if you miss a bus, you'd have to wait a half or whole hour for the next one.

When we finally got up there, we walked around. Went to look for some dude who was gonna buy Brandon's math text books off him coz he doesn't have to take math no more. Yea really weird. He took some quiz and just like that, no more math. We went for lunch where we bumped into Janette, May, Michelle and Jonathan. Still the same old Janette. She's so funny.

Beano showed me around campus. We walked and took a look at the different wings and the boarding there. Nice apartments =). Lol and all the doors in the hallway are -force- operated. B just stuck his hand up and the doors -magically- opened for him. =P. It would take half an hour to get across the entire school. It's huge. There's a theatre, tons of lecture halls (which are pretty much like mini theatres), tons of class rooms, big field in the back, gym. Not sure about pool but there probably is one.

Yea that's pretty much what we did. The clouds hovered over the campus all morning. At lunch we had a little bit of sun so I got a couple nice pictures of these red creepers that covered the huge grey block cement buildings. It's actually quite pretty. SFU's dark and all and apparently has a high suicide rate but it's not all that bad. Mmm when we were gonna leave, it started to rain again. We waited forever for the bus. When it finally came, we made a huge loop and ended up a few stations away from the one we originally stopped at. It was pouring out by then. Lightning, thunder, the entire fiasco. Just as we were about to leave for Columbia, the train didn't move and an announcement came on saying the trains will be delayed. We waited. Made a few calls and then the train started going backwards. Oy~ Bran called his dad and he picked us up from the station. We were by this gloomy construction site standing in the rain.

I have a crappy work schedule the rest of the week. 2 more weeks til I start school! Yay~! Should go work on my video now.

Ah I love him. We ended up at King George Station. Got on the train to Metro. The entire week, he's been at school. I've been at work. For the past 2 days, he's been working with his uncle from dawn to dusk Friday and Saturday. Today was our only day...soooooo... lol. Bran wanted to go to the beach but when we got up this morning, the sky was dark, the air was cold and it was not a day for the beach. He woke me up at 9 and picked me up an hour later for Mac Dickies! =) Mmm he got me a sausage and egg mc muffin. Mmm soo goooood. Oh and OJ. He had 2 McGriddles (icky! Pancake, syrup, cheese and bacon do not go together! He loved it though). We got to Metro and thought about whether or not to stop or just go to Granville. We couldn't remember how to get there though and it really wasn't a good day for walking out on the dock. We shopped. No, HE shopped. We walked all over looking for hoodies and eventually found our way to Sport Chek/Coast Mountain Sports where he picked up a Converse hoodie. It's purtty. All hoodies nowadays have huge brand logos on them. It just ruins it. He also wanted to get a backpack. Lol But I didn't like it so he ended up leaving it. It had ninja stars on it. Lol. But that's what he liked. He put it on and I stared at him and made funny faces lol. "Noooo you're saying bad things! Now I can't get it!!" After that, he got me an awesome strawberry smoothie (I had to stand in line for it lol while he rested his feet) and McChicken burgers. Mmm. Headed for home. We hung out at his house for a while. Played some soccer and had PC Naan (I've finally tried it, after listening to that promo video a bazillion times), rice and curry. Mmmmmm yummy. Yea... that's pretty much what we did all day. Now I'm just watching the Emmys. I should go take a shower before Joey decides to steal the bathroom....!!!

I've been watching Blades of Glory for the past 2 weeks, over and over and over. And yea, in one scene, a little nerdy korean or well asian kid freaks out in the bathroom when Jimmy pokes his head out from under a door. He points at him with both hands and screams, "Stranger Danger! Stranger Danger!", then runs off and knocks over the garbage can. Ah so funny.

After I got my Macbook, my little logitech webcam was left to collect dust sitting in the corner of my room amongst other pieces of neglected items in my room. It wouldn't work on my laptop, even on the parallels side (pc side). So I found it a new home and owner. Bwandon! =D Unfortunately, msn for mac doesn't support webcamming (phooooie!). So B and I have gone on to use Skype to talk. =)

I'm waiting for 2 minutes to go by before I leave for work. It's 6:33am. It's cold and I work til noon. I get up at noon!!!! Ah but I'll have the rest of the day to myself. Mwahahaha!

Work this morning at 9:30. I did pretty much nothing all morning. There was nothing to dooo! I dusted. Collected pictures. Dusted some more. Been working with another lady for the past 2 days. I guess she's nice. She told me that a tick in the sweeps binder means I've actually swept the department. No one tells me these things!!!!! I coulda gotten in trouble so many times!! Just as she told me that, one of the managers called and said to sweep. And guess what, we have no broom!! Oii.. O well. Work was short. It got busy just as I was about to leave. My dad picked me up and dropped me off at school. Or.. well I guess I can't use school anymore. At Fraser Heights. I had to go figure out my scholarship dealy. Ms Thomas got my thank you letters. But I never got my money!! I picked up my passport to education. I got 125$ from Grade 9. Strange. So my 500$ will be mailed to me soon. While I was in the office, Mr Milross popped in. Ah he's too cool. He's like EY YOU! I have your.. your.. thingy! You can just pop by later. Ah~

Oh yea.. I talked to Noog, Ms Bicknell and Derby..So nice seeing them again. It was like high school all over again. Mr Nguyen said I could make a video of my experience in A.i and present it for Meet an Expert. Lol Uh oh. >

Beano met me at school and we just walked around for a bit. Talked to his brothers then went to get lunch. Mm terriyaki chicken! Haven't had that in sooo long. Mmh soooo good. We sat outside Timmy's for a bit and B just watched me eat lol. I held a scoop of it up for him but before he got to me, a bee did! Ahhh!!!!!!! It landed on my hand! ......'_'.....o_o....O_O"...If Brandon hadn't blown it away, things wouldn't have ended pretty. There would probably have been rice flying in all directions and bits of chicken in our hair.

We went home and watched Fearless. Lol.. in chinese. With chinese subtitles. Brandon picked the movie though. So the both of us sat there and he'd constantly ask me what was going on. "Brandon you've seen this movie before!!".

After that we brought the doggies for a run to Jr Douglas. Beano kept chasing Leah and scaring her. He hid behind a corner at home and jumped up at her. He not only scared the dog, but my mom too. After our run, we had breakfast for dinner. Sausages, hash brown and salad. Mmm. For an hour, we went through the Rogers site looking for a CD. We get one free music CD coz they're celebrating their..anniversary or something. I couldn't decide what to get. I had Mika... Weezer...or The Tragically Hip.. Brandon really wanted Hip. Up above me on the ceiling was Mr Itsy Bitsy spider busy making his web. His legs were long and gross and he didn't look like the regular spiders that are usually around here. This one was prettier and scarier. Ick!!! Beano kept bugging me and saying that it's building its web and then it'll fall down and eat my face. *places hands all over Jmerzez face* I went back to looking for tunes. My mom and Jo were sitting behind us by the table and Beano standing next to me facing them. I glanced up at our little friend and watched it make more line. And then all of a sudden it swooped down!!!!!! Really really fast! I thought it was gonna fall on me and eat me and get its creepy legs all over. Ahhh I screamed sooo loud. I moved away from the table I jumped I grabbed Brandon and hid my face in his arm and that triggered a series of screams. Lmao. Brandon, Joey, Mom. It all happened so fast. My god. Scariest thing ever, spiders.

Joey gave Beano jelly straws and he had a hard time getting them open. He made lotsa funny faces. =P

Funny. Jo and I were sitting downstairs yesterday looking through youtube on the apple tv and I keyed in Phua Chu Kang. We found episodes! Not too many. Maybe about 5 episodes. Ah haven't seen PCK in so long. I've watched all of them already. I gave Brandon the link to this one and he started watching it. His comments were: "They sound so funny...like.. they stress the wrong syllables... and they say ok all the time"

And it's funny that the title of my entry and the episode is sabo me, sabo you. When I got home from work, my mom said that the officials came and said -SOMEONE- filed a complaint about our fountain. I WONDER who. Apparently no one answered the door next door when she rang. She came over and spoke with my mom about the fountain. She said she couldn't hear a thing. My mom invited the lady inside and they talked about how nice the matting is in our garage. Lol. Wonder what Zbig's got in store for us next.

We've been watching videos all night. Beano's been showing me all his soccer and golf videos.

[26 days]

It's been 2 days since school started. Joey's been asking question after question. What do I bring to school? How many binders should I bring? I need a lock. I need 3 pairs of shoes. I need gym strip. What else do I need? I need a short and long ruler. But the long one can't fit in my pencil case. In a way, it reminds me of when I first started school; in a building way bigger than elementary school. I guess it wasn't so bad for me. MSG was MUCH bigger. But maybe the size of the school isn't the intimidating part. It's all the kids that are way bigger than you are. Feels so strange that she's already in high school. She's now known as "Little Poh" in her P.E class. She's got Ms Piercy. Ah.. yea.. I've been bored. Yea it's only been 2 days. But I only work on weekends and the entire week I have to myself. Everyone's been out at work at school.

Yesterday I started my Fashion Show video. Today I went shoe shopping with my mom and continued my video. Tomorrow I will go visit Mr Nguyen and Milross to pick up my CD. And probably go find out about my passport to education and scholarship money. Apparently I get 500$ in my passport to education. And I get another 500$ from my scholarship. 1000$! Yay!! Then perhaps I'll go get some exercise. Go rollerblading or biking or something. I gotta give Beano the receipt from when we were shopping. YooHwa's feet are too big for the soccer cleats B got her. Today I discovered a few episodes of Phua Chu Kang on youtube. Jo and I already watched a few. Ah so funny. I have 3 more to watch. Tmr should be an eventful day.

Da Yong went uber hyper yesterday. He was laughing, screaming, talking, jumping, pushing, spinning, wandering, slapping, crawling. Everything. He jumped and wanted me to lift him in the air. He wanted to play hand slapping games with Jo and I. He laughed when we laughed and screamed when I made faces. Then spun in circles and wobbled around like a drunken man. Uhh boy.

I was flipping through a binder with a bunch of product ads and listings and stuff yesterday when there was nothing to do in the store. I came across a ton of stuff that SHOULD have been explained to me. Like... PS2 bundles. And how much it costs to have pictures put on a CD from negatives. Oiii. SO ANYHOO.. I found a catalogue with a bunch of Canon cameras. =D!!!! And it was love at first sight. Canon TX-1

[Day before school shopping with Beano]

We had to stop by HenLong for a bit. Leah conveniently crawled onto Beano's lap. He put his vest around her and held her like a little pillow. So cute.

The sky was dark and gloomy all day. No picnic for Jmerz =(. Originally I wanted to go down to the nice green grassy field by the art gallery and have subs or something but we woke up to a dark, cloudy sky threatening to pour on us. Beano decided we should go to Metro instead. So we did! Ah =) Just as we entered the mall, passing Tommy Hilfiger...Hillfiger?? Brandon goes, "quick! run before..."... and before he got to finish his sentence, out of nowhere, Krissy POPs up in my face and gives me a hug. Omg scared me. She was with Lisa. 2 seconds later, we bump into Waina. So many people in the first 5 minutes of the day! I thought Brandon wanted to pass someone but he said, "I said walk faster coz we're passing Tommy and I have his boxers." He has a pair of Tommy .H boxers and I accuse him of stealing.

We shopping. Or well, Brandon shopped. He got 2 shirts from Randy River (really nice) then followed me through Garage =D. We had Arby's for lunch and guess what! Bumped into Julian. From there we just walked some more. I wanted to get hair clips so we walked all over Metro looking for Claire's. Beano got bored and tired so he kept bugging me and trying to step on my shoes. We were on our way out to the station when he decided that he was thirsty. So I grabbed his water bottle out from my backpack and he decided to wave it over my head like he always does, pretending to spray water on me. And guess what! Water comes squirting out! Ahh~ We bussed back to Guildford to get my hair clips and yea. Fun day eh. I'm so tired now. We're going out for dinner soon. Another long night @_@. I want Shephard's pie!

Worked all day yesterday. I had to change my availability to weekends only. Just coz everyone else's schedule changed. So for a month, I'mma be free all week and busy all weekend. I did so much carrying yesterday. The girl I worked with disappeared into the back room to get stock to put out and she was gone for so long. In that hour, I had to do so many exchanges and refunds. Rawr!! When she finally came back, I put everything out, cut up all the boxes, and dusted. The second girl came and between the both of us I think we sold 3 or 4 tvs. 2 of which I had to lug down to the parking lot. 24" and 27". @_@. Shoulda gotten someone to come help. We called for help on the 20" and 2 big guys come. Jeezus. Went on my uber long break...came back and.. hm...Hogen and Jr came to visit. Lol I guess I did get to see Junior one last time after all.

So this 24" tv I brought down on a cart. The lady has a fricken small car. We tried the front door, the back door, the trunk. Then she said ok I'll call my friend to come. She makes me wait with her 10 minutes, then tells me to go upstairs to get something to cut the box open with. I bring the cart up, grab a knife, walk all the way back down to her car and her friend's still not there. When he does come, the cars got 3 people in it, and it's the SAME size as hers! Oiii. So all of them yap away in their.. punjabi.. I don't understand the words but I know they were making fun of me. Lol. Probably something like, this girl's so small how's she gonna help you carry the tv! So yea.. I cut open the box.. they carry the tv in.. everyone's happy. Phew

We had shepard's pie at Aunty Sharon and Uncle Richard's place.. mm so good. And I watched a few episodes of The OC. I think I watched 4 or 5 episodes. 45 minutes long!! Hmm yea.. it was good dinner. I was uber tired when I got home.

Brandon and I went for breakfast this morning. We had Timmy Ho's sammich's and Jones Sodas out at Erma. He had FuFu Berry and I had Blue Bubble Gum. Then we mixed them both and it turned purple!!!! And somehow tasted sorta like grape. =P. For the past 3 hours we've been lying on the couch. Beano's been playing my guitar. Joey's been sitting in front of us putting together a doggy puzzle. We watched a couple videos and now B's just helping Joey. And we watched this video! So funny.
